Only one third of the psychologists surveyed knew what PBA was. In their daily decision making, clinicians rely on past experience, accumulated knowledge and the difficulties presented by the patient, but scientific literature, patient preferences and opinions about treatment and expert opinions provide little guidance in their practice. These researches have contributed to clarifying the concept of QVT. They also gave rise to the development of measurement scales, which make it possible to establish a diagnosis of the QVT. We tested the scale structured in 26 items distributed on 6 dimensions on a population of 1321 all-comers employees. To test divergent validity, we compared the answers to the WRQoL items on the same sample.</div></div><div><h3>Results</h3><div>Factorial analyzes confirmed the structure of the scale into 6 factors. These 6 factors correlate significantly with the dimensions of the WRQoL.</div></div><div><h3>Conclusion</h3><div>The use of this scale opens up various possibilities such as adjusting an action plan to the expectations of employees (meta-dimension-expected), or more fundamentally as an indirect measure of individual satisfaction (difference between meta-dimension “Expected” and meta-dimension “Experienced”).</div></div>","PeriodicalId":54590,"journal":{"name":"Pratiques Psychologiques","volume":"30 4","pages":"Pages 223-245"},"PeriodicalIF":0.6,"publicationDate":"2024-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"142748366","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"心理学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"OA","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To shed light on this analysis, we employed the “ethogenic” theoretical framework, which aims to elucidate culturally shared norms and goals that guide behaviors. In this context, 13 incarcerated fathers were interviewed as part of a parenting support program regarding their relationship with their children since their incarceration. The collected narratives distinguish between the logics of actions favoring the maintenance of this bond (the desire to “preserve their identity as a father”, to continue “meeting their child's emotional needs”, and to “cope with the prison conditions”) versus the logics of actions leading to the interruption of this bond (the desire to “preserve their paternal image”, to “shield their child from the reality of the prison environment”, to “preserve family resources”, and to “focus on their adaptation process to this environment”). In general, this research has highlighted action dynamics that may impede bond maintenance, dynamics that can be addressed within the prison setting through parenting support initiatives.
