A review of the specimens of the Immunoglobulin Production Laboratory of INLASA was carried out, using different dichotomous keys of the genus from Latin America, as well as the study of the original descriptions of some species described for Bolivia. An updated list of Tityus species from Bolivia is presented, 9 species are mentioned with their respective localities: T argentinus (Villa Tunari and Chapare in Cochabamba, Buena Vista and Campeche in Santa Cruz and in the Chaco of Chuquisaca), T. birabeni (Villa Tunari, Cochabamba), T. bolivi-anus (Tipuani, La Paz), T. confluens (Villa Montes, Tarija), T. horacioi (San Mateo, Cochabamba), T. kaderkai (Rurrenabaque and San Joaquín, Beni), T. proseni (Locotal, Cochabamba), T. sorataensis (Sorata, Cheje and Quime, La Paz) and the presence of T. metuendus is confirmed for Bolivia in the department of Pando. The methodology is quantitative, longitudinal; In the first stage, a measurement instrument was designed to evaluate the nutritional status individually of every housewife, this was validated, with a Cronbach alpha of 0.9, this was applied to obtain an initial diagnosis and to know the eating habits and physical activity in the housewives, in addition to anthropometric (weight and height). So-called OA has been sacralised in an uncritical way, both in the political and legislative sphere and in the media. It is imperative to rigorously evaluate its postulates and practices in the light of the best available science, with an objective view. A good starting point to contribute to the debate is the European Union (EU) regulation on organic production and labelling of organic products (No. 8347/2007) of June 2007 which states, \"organic production is a general system of farm management and food production that combines best environmental practices, a high level of biodiversity, the preservation of natural resources, the application of high animal welfare standards and production in accordance with the preferences of certain consumers for products obtained from natural substances and processes\". In this light definition, the ambitious enumeration of good intentions, ideals that in principle can be embraced by any citizen, is contrasted with an explicit declaration that the aim is not so much the production of foodstuffs necessary for our species as a whole, but \"production in accordance with the preferences of certain consumers\". It is clear from its advocates that organic food \"arises as an ideological movement of reaction\" to what they consider to be the excesses and problems resulting from the intensification and industrialization of agricultural production, the consequences of which are a litany of negative effects on health, the environment and society. Organic food accounts for about 2 % of the world market, with prices around 50 % higher than conventional food. Although the expansion of OA in the world is relatively recent, reaching more than 30 million hectares, in 120 countries and 600000 production units, its beginnings date back to the last decades of the 19th and early 20th centuries, based on the Universidad Estatal del Sur de Manabí (UNESUM). This study was conducted to determine diversity in tomato (Solanum spp.) fruits using eight conventional descriptors (CD) and 47 Tomato Analyzer (TA) software descriptors related to fruit morphometry. Phenotyping was carried out on 50 accessions selected for morphological variation from the National Genetic Resources Bank. Variability was detected for fruit characteristics with CD and quantified by TA. Fruit shape was the main character used for visual grouping of accessions into ten different varietal groupings of shape: Circular (26 %), Flattened (20 %), Oboval (20 %), Pyriform (12 %), Elliptical (6 %), Chordate (6 %), Cylindrical (4 %), Oblong (2 %), Oval (2 %) and Flattened (2 %) and from very small to large size. Significant variation was observed for fruit weight (3.75-217.44 g), equatorial diameter (17.85-75.55 mm), polar diameter (17.57-96.76 mm), circumference (61.86-312.64 mm) and area (249.56-6367.57 mm). Principal component analysis contributed to the total variation and the first two explained 30.02 % of the variation where fruit shape index and proximal/distal end shape of the fruit showed high contribution in the variation of the first component. There was a strong positive correlation between fruit shape and fruit size, while negative correlations were between fruit shape index, internal eccentricity and","PeriodicalId":53763,"journal":{"name":"Journal of the Selva Andina Research Society","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.1,"publicationDate":"2022-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"46613416","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The treatments were distributed in a 3 x 5 factorial arrangement and evaluated in a completely randomised experimental design. Each experimental unit consisted of three rows. The response variables were: plant height (cm), stem diameter (mm), number of fruits per plant, fruit volume (cm 3 ) and fruit weight (kg). The results, cucumber in monoculture did not present notable differences for any of the evaluated variables, with the exception of plant height, significant differences were observed at P<0.05 of probability, Bioremedy, L-amino and control were the best. In tomato monoculture, there were significant differences at P<0.05 for all the variables, with Bioremedy standing out for plant height, stem diameter, fruit weight, fruit diameter and fruit number.
