However, this article argues that it is part of a historical process that has been constituted within the region with characteristics of its own. For this reason, this paper aims to identify the contributions of the 1918 Cordoba Reform to the analysis of the university internationalization process in Latin America. A bibliographical and documentary research with a historical content was carried out. It investigates official publications that help to read the guidelines given for the inspection, handling and care of children's teeth and mouths within the school space are investigated. It explores the relationship established between teething, school progress, and civilization, as well as the conduct adopted in cases of poor dental condition. Procuramos evidenciar como o autor busca despertar no leitor a atenção para o comportamento risível dos dois irmãos sofistas, Eutidemo e Dionisodoro. Trata-se de evidenciar o resgate que o autor faz do personagem cômico de Sócrates para contrastar com esses sofistas, pois isso possui uma razão simultaneamente pedagógica e filosófica. {"title":"HENRI PIÉRON, ROBERTO MANGE E A HISTÓRIA DA PSICOTÉCNICA NO BRASIL: REPRESENTAÇÕES EM DISPUTA","authors":"Luciana Dadico, Rogério Monteiro de Siqueira","doi":"10.1590/2236-3459/104764","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1590/2236-3459/104764","url":null,"abstract":"Resumo Este artigo discute a gênese da psicotécnica nas décadas de 1920 a 1940, analisando, de forma comparada, três cursos de psicotécnica ministrados em São Paulo: por Roberto Mange, no Liceu de Artes e Ofícios, em 1926, e na Escola Livre de Sociologia e Política de São Paulo, em 1934; e por Henri Piéron, na Escola Normal de São Paulo, em 1926. A análise aqui envidada questiona a associação causal entre psicotécnica e taylorismo, que coloca o nome de Mange ao mesmo tempo como precursor e impulsionador das ideias de Taylor no Brasil. En este trabajo hemos recurrido tanto al análisis cuantitativo como al cualitativo, pues nuestro interés se ha centrado en buscar las causas que influyeron en el elevado índice de analfabetismo de la población pacense y su falta de escolarización. O intelectual norte-rio-grandense Nestor dos Santos Lima se destacou no cenário estadual e nacional pela sua atuação enquanto educador, advogado e historiador, e pela sua participação nas diferentes e mais relevantes instituições educacionais e culturais do Estado durante a primeira metade do século XX. Nosso referencial teórico é composto pelas contribuições de Roger Chartier, Michel de Certeau e Jean François Sirinelli. O corpus documental para a pesquisa se constitui, principalmente, pelo relatório da viagem produzido pelo intelectual.
