One process involves making sense of things in the outside world and the present situation, that is, it means understanding and rethinking external objects and situations. Another process involves the construction of a new image that allows you to see and understand the surrounding reality in a new way. This allows the authors to say that, on the one hand, imagination is aimed at acting with external reality, and, on the other hand, the inner work of creating a new subject of imagination. Based on the analysis of empirical materials studying the development of imagination and creativity, the authors obtained experimental proof of the idea of L.S. Vygotsky that images of imagination are realized in creativity and come to the conclusion about the possibility of purposeful development of creativity in ontogenesis. Authors connect the purposeful development of creativity with theatrical pedagogy, in which training and education are realized with the help of theatrical methods. Theatrical methods, according to the authors, are methods by which you can set an imaginary situation and, at the same time, these are methods that allow the viewer to be included in theatrical action.","PeriodicalId":53021,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Educational and Psychological Studies","volume":"158 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"76494884","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The data of monitoring studies and questionnaires conducted by the RUC in 2017–2018 on parameters that are today key in assessing the state of higher inclusive education in any university of the Russian Federation are given. The analysis of a condition of the main activities of RUMTs in higher education institution is carried out. On the basis of the generalization and systematization of the data, the specifics of the work of the center within the university on the basis of which it was created are determined. The problems identified as a result of monitoring studies and questionnaires have led to the identification of the main paths of further activities of the RUC at the university on the basis of which it was established. Inclusive education of students with disabilities is the most important factor in the activation of resources of all subjects of the educational process, including structural divisions of the university, which accompany the process of education of this category of students. The synthesis of the types of works implemented in 2016–2018 and the implementation of monitoring studies by the Resource Educational and Methodological Center for the Education of Disabled Persons and Persons with Disabilities of the Ministry of Health makes it possible to speak about the significant role of this center in the development of the inclusive educational environment of the university.","PeriodicalId":53021,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Educational and Psychological Studies","volume":"53 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"74455765","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The article showed the psychological well-being of students with disabilities is determined by environmental (macro factors); socio-psychological (mesofactors); personal characteristics of students, their ability to overcome difficulties (microfactors). It was established that the various components of psychological well-being and students' coping strategies have different significance depending on the specifics of university educational environment. The ability to master various types of activities, effectiveness in coping with difficulties (environmental management) is typical for students of two groups of an inclusive mixad learning environment. Life goals are more shaped in healthy students in an inclusive mixed learning environment. An inclusive environment has been found to be favorable for healthy and disabled students, who, in terms of their psychological well-being, do not differ from healthy students of traditional learning environment and use less constructive coping strategies to a lesser degree. Particular attention should be paid to such characteristic of psychological well-being of students with disabilities as self-acceptance, which distinguishes them from healthy students of the two groups.","PeriodicalId":53021,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Educational and Psychological Studies","volume":"31 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"80198658","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We report on the results of an empirical study that highlighted the importance of this Positive Triad of traits in creativity measured via the ‘Creative Cartoons’ task. Three groups of accomplished creative professional participated in the study (writers, composers, and directors), for a total n = 52. In addition to administering the Creative Cartoons task, we administered a set of assessments: self-assessed creativity (using the procedure parallel to that proposed by A. Furnham for studying self-assessed intelligence), T. Kornilova’s New questionnaire for tolerance to uncertainty (NTN), the Emotional Intelligence (EmIn) questionnaire developed by D. Lyusin, and S. Epstein’s Rational-Experiential Inventory. A correlational analyses of the relationships between the studied traits provided support for the hypotheses related to the positive role of the Positive Triad of traits in creativity. Psychometric creativity was related to self-assessed creativity and trust in intuition, whereas intuition was related to tolerance for uncertainty, in its turn related to interpersonal emotional intelligence. Intrapersonal emotional intelligence, on the other hand, was negatively correlated with interpersonal intolerance for uncertainty: thus, both emotional intelligence traits were associated with a more positive attitude towards uncertainty.","PeriodicalId":53021,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Educational and Psychological Studies","volume":"52 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"86559210","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The paper presents the results of an empirical study of the special features of cognitive activity and creativity of junior schoolchildren with the high intellectual abilities, who are trained in the different educational environment (standard and innovation, enrichment). The hypothesis tested was that the intensity, cognitive level (depth) and latitude of the manifestation of the cognitive activity of the intellectually gifted junior schoolchildren were connected with such parameters of educational environment as cognitive complexity, classroom interaction, and the value of the creative activity of child. In a study participated the intellectually gifted junior schoolchildren of the 2nd and 4th classes (n=101). It was shown that the educational environment has an effect on the manifestations of cognitive activity and verbal creativity of the intellectually gifted junior schoolchildren. The intellectually gifted junior schoolchildren, who are trained in the educational environment, which is characterized by the high level of cognitive complexity, classroom interaction and values of the creative activity of child, reveal the reliably higher indices of verbal creativity, and also level, depth and latitude of cognitive activity, than their gifted peers, who are trained under the standard (traditional) educational environment.","PeriodicalId":53021,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Educational and Psychological Studies","volume":"19 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"84509161","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The conditions of the organization of semantic perception are examined: on the example of the tradition of cognitive attentiveness in child-adult research activities and the practice of searching for the meaning of texts. The content and methods of work with a special type of texts that lack semantic stereotype are analyzed in detail. These are text tasks on ingenuity (“provocative” texts). For children of 5-7 years old, they act not only as logic tasks, but rather as situations that are surprising and fun, initiating joint intellectual activity (by analogy with verbal games widely represented in folklore). The child learns to listen attentively to the speech of an adult and peer; highlights the signs of the situation described in the text and grasps its meaning. The search for answers to the questions posed is carried out in the process of group discussion, through actions and trying to play the situation.","PeriodicalId":53021,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Educational and Psychological Studies","volume":"31 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"89878313","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Natural sciences, technologies, engineering, art and mathematics act as a space for the development of the worldview of preschool children. Determination of the common ground of these areas determines the harmonization of the development of children in modern space. It is suggested that children need to be taught to cope with unexpected situations and solve problems that they have not encountered before, on the basis of value categories that act as phenomena of the child’s consciousness. The space of developing STEAM-education of children is a space of freedom: creativity (artistic, speech, technical), self-expression and self-presentation.","PeriodicalId":53021,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Educational and Psychological Studies","volume":"63 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"89518770","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
