Therefore, in this study, different cointegration tests were applied to investigate the relationship between health expenditures and economic growth for the period 1980-2017. The coefficients of the panel regression equation were estimated by the fixed effect method. According to the results, long-term relationship between health expenditures and economic growth was found. Health-led growth hypothesis for selected OECD countries (Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Ireland, Japan, Korea, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States) are supported. That is, a long-term relationship between health expenditure and economic growth has been found.","PeriodicalId":52844,"journal":{"name":"Poslovna Izvrsnost","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"https://sci-hub-pdf.com/10.22598/pi-be/2020.14.1.77","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"46342853","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In order to become relevant source of data in quality management Quality Costing should be properly implemented. Therefore, the scope of quality cost recording and the usage level of Quality Costing determines its maturity level. The purpose of this paper is to explore whether the maturity of Quality Costing positively affects the application of quality management principles according to the ISO 9001:2015. This study reveals that the Quality Costing maturity is crucial in attaining lower level of waste and production nonconformities as well as the failure costs reduction and, on the other hand, the increase of revenues, better decision-making and more sensible investing. Comparing to prior studies the novelty of this paper is in introducing the maturity of accounting system pointing out that more advanced level of Quality Costing application leads to the wider scope of quality data that can be used as a compass in quality management. Empirical research is based on online survey addressed to quality managers. Findings indicate that comprehensive recording and reporting of adequately categorised quality costs can produce many benefits for the organisation.","PeriodicalId":52844,"journal":{"name":"Poslovna Izvrsnost","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"https://sci-hub-pdf.com/10.22598/pi-be/2020.14.1.11","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68229152","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

An additional interest for this topic has arisen during the last decade, due to a growing number of business entities it affects and the insight into the strategic potential of adequately managing the reverse logistics flows. Up to now, practical research and empirical confirmation regarding reverse logistics management has been scarce, and the question of defining elements, i.e. factors which determine the reverse logistics flows has remained without a complete answer. In time, various authors have tried to solve this question by setting certain guidelines and models which comprehensively show factors considered to be of key importance for the realization of the reverse logistics flows. The subject of this paper is to analyze in depth such existing models. After defining the very term of reverse logistics, the carried out model analysis respects the dynamic time component, first focusing on the theoretical model in this areathe Carter-Ellram model, and later on to the one empirically confirmedthe contemporary reverse logistics model. The aim of this paper is threefold. First, to explain the evolution of the meaning of reverse logistics. Second, to revise the two approaches which most comprehensively define the set of factors considered to be of most importance for the reverse logistics management. Thirdly, it is necessary to compare the factors identified within the theoretical model, with the ones generated empirically, in order to see the similarities and certain differences among them.","PeriodicalId":52844,"journal":{"name":"Poslovna Izvrsnost","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"https://sci-hub-pdf.com/10.22598/pi-be/2020.14.1.109","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"46320735","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Through qualitative methodological approaches the paper will review and analyze the definition and concept of migration, the reasons and factors of migration, migrations theories, the main destination for migrants, specifications of Kosovo population migration into years, the migration phases of the Kosovo population, the effects of migration or remittances on economic development of Kosovo, effective policies to strengthen the link between diaspora and development, remittance transfer channels and so on. From all the Western Balkan countries, Kosovo continues to be a significant trend for emigration because labour market is unable to absorb the high number of job seekers. Hence, the Kosovo institutions should promote investment and inform the Kosovo diaspora of facilities for doing business, and reforms that have been implemented in Kosovo. The limitations of this research may be the insufficient data and statistics on migration trends of the Western Balkan countries. Therefore, it was not possible to incorporate econometric analysis. The value of this paper, lies in dealing with Western Balkan migration problem, a problem that has been little addressed in the current academic literature.","PeriodicalId":52844,"journal":{"name":"Poslovna Izvrsnost","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"https://sci-hub-pdf.com/10.22598/pi-be/2020.14.1.135","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"46063242","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Due to its structure and the speed of life processes, food is delivered to urban centres through conventional supply chains, and therefore, today we are faced with an extremely dependent consumer (due to the lack of food self-supply). For this reason, the strategic development of cities requires sustainable thinking and reasoning when it comes to food supply. A simple possible solution for the continuous and sustainable supply for the urban population is the development of ecodistribution centres for agri-food products. With the implementation of this model, numerous effects can be achieved; developing the rural environment of cities reduces the pressure of population inflows; ensuring the supply of fresh, high-quality food in","PeriodicalId":52844,"journal":{"name":"Poslovna Izvrsnost","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"https://sci-hub-pdf.com/10.22598/pi-be/2019.13.2.53","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48244081","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Thus, appropriate supplier relationship management is important in ensuring successful supplier integration and in determining the degree of integration. Scholars have developed various supplier relationship frameworks to support managers’ efforts to manage their supplier relationships. However, no framework is suitable for every organization, and there is no guarantee that adopting and integrating a framework will lead to success. Each framework’s benefits and drawbacks should be considered. In this paper, we review the most recent frameworks for supplier relationship management and then develop a new framework that addresses their issues. This proposed three-phase framework allows for greater flexibility and faster adaptation to the changes that occur in the turbulent business environment. The framework also allows for sufficiently detailed development of selected suppliers and enables buyer and suppliers to cocreate value. Additionally, with the help of appropriate IT support, the proposed framework facilitates continuous, stable and real-time data exchange, which in turn speeds up the decisionmaking regarding both operational and tactical procurement activities.
