The research aims to expand the genetic diversity of spelt wheat and to obtain new introgressive forms with a high level of manifestation of economically valuable traits. The following methods were used: field, laboratory, hydrological analysis, and statistical analysis. As a result of the research, new source material was obtained and valuable genotypes with a unique combination of genetic material of the source species were identified. An intermediate type of inheritance of plant morphology traits (plant height, ear length and density, grain weight per ear) in F1 hybrids was established. In F2 hybrids, a split of 3:1, indicates the dominant monogenic nature of inheritance. The shape of the ear is inherited monogenically by the type of incomplete dominance. The analysis of transgressive variability in F3-4 hybrids Triticum spelta L. × Triticum compactum Host. shows that the highest proportion of positive transgressions was recorded for the number of spikelets (28.1-28.5%) and grains (23.4-51.0%) in the ear and grain weight per spikelet (20.3-32.1%). The analysis of stability and adaptability indices allowed us to distinguish line 201, characterised by high stability (S2 di=0.027), homeostasis (Hom=193.3) and breeding value (Sc=3.9), and line 206, combining high yield (5.11 t/ha) with high homeostasis (Hom=182.3) and breeding value (Sc=3.9). In addition, difficult labour drains the female and can lead to hypolactia. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of probiotics on lactation recovery and metabolic changes in the body of females. Among the methods used are: the determination of lactation level, the physiological method for determining live weight, the biochemical method for blood testing; and the statistical method. The application of Bacillus subtilis AX 20, Bacillus licheniformis EA 22 contributes to an increase in milk productivity in cows on day 7-9 of the study by 12.9%, on day 10-12 – by 15.03%, on day 13-15 – by 13.93%, on day 16-18 – by 13.5% and on day 19-21 – by 21.35% compared to the control. The total protein content in experimental cows increased by 18.92%, globulins – by 37.26 (p≤0.05), compared to the initial indicators. The activity of alanine aminotransferase, urea, and urea nitrogen in animals of the control and experimental groups was within the normal range during the experiment. The application of Bacillus megaterium NCH 55 to sows with hypolactation contributes to lactation recovery in sows. In the experimental group, piglets showed a lag in growth of 18.5% on the third day and 11.39% on the tenth day due to hypolactation. Starting from day 15, there was an increase in the live weight of suckling piglets due to the restoration of lactation in sows by 20.56%, on day 20 – by 20.43%, on day 25 – by 30.56%, on day 30 – by 31.91%, compared to the control. In the blood serum of experimental sows, the content of total protein increased by 10%, globulins – by 19.13%, total cholesterol – by 40.11%, urea by 48.0%, compared to the beginning of studies (p≤0.05). The activity of alanine aminotransferase in the experiment increased by 8.95% (p≤0.05), alkaline phosphatase decreased by 27.46% (p≤0.05), compared to the beginning of the study. In the blood of experimental sows, the level of circulating immune complexes increased by 42.85% and a decrease in seromucoids by 30.43%. The purpose of the study is to substantiate the specific features of winter wheat productivity formation based on cultivation techniques in the Carpathian region. The research utilised field, laboratory (for grain quality determination), and statistical methods (for data reliability assessment). Field studies were conducted during 2021-2022 on grey forest surface-eroded soils. The growth and development characteristics of the Estafeta Myronivska, Dovira Odeska, and Akhim winter wheat varieties sown at different dates (September 20, October 5, October 20) were investigated. It was found that grain yield and individual productivity indicators of the studied winter wheat varieties varied depending on sowing dates, mineral fertilizer doses, foliar feeding, and varietal traits. The highest individual plant productivity indicators were achieved by the Estafeta Myronivska, Dovira Odeska, and Akhim varieties sown on October 5 with mineral fertiliser application N120P90K90 (including N30P90K90 applied during cultivation, N15 after soil thawing, N45 (in the BBCH 29-30 growth stage), N30 (BBCH 55-57) with dual application of micronutrients (Aidamin-complex foliar feeding). As a result of the studied factors, an increase in the number of productive stems, grains per stem, and grain weight per spike was observed. The highest grain yield among the studied varieties was achieved by the Estafeta Myronivska variety (5.65 t/ha) when sown on October 5 with N120P90K90 and Aidamin-complex foliar feeding. The solution to this problem is possible only if a viable offspring is obtained, and their body resistance and safety are increased, which determines the research relevance. In this regard, determining the influence of the haemostasis system and blood properties of cows on the growth and development of the foetus, and subsequently on the resistance of newborn calves, depending on the condition at birth, determined the research aim. The conditions of foetal growth and development were found to be related to the activity of haemostatic factors and blood properties of cows. Hemocoagulation factors were active in animals that gave birth to calves in a state of hypoxia. The prothrombin time was 1.63, 1.40, 1.23 and 1.40 times lower, and the prothrombin haemostasis index was 1.53, 1.52, 1.35 and 1.46 times lower, respectively than in cows that gave birth to functionally active calves (p<0.01). The thrombin time of haemostasis, partially activated thrombin time and fibrinogen content in cows of the experimental groups were higher than in animals of the control group. The blood viscosity of cows in the control group was lower (p<0.01), and the blood coagulation of cows in the experimental groups was faster (p<0.05). The increase in coagulation properties of the blood of cows that gave birth to calves in a state of hypoxia occurred against the background of a decrease in the activity of the fibrinolytic system (p<0.05) and retraction of the blood clot. All this reduced the growth and development of the embryo and foetus. The placental ligamentous connection of foetuses born with signs of hypoxia was significantly greater than that of functionally active calves. The intensity and size of embryo growth were higher in the group of functionally active calves (p<0.05). The activity of leukocyte defence factors, and, accordingly, the resistance of the organism of functionally active calves at birth was higher. The percentage of activated leukocytes in the blood of calves was practically the same, and the microbial count was higher in calves of the control group (p<0.05). The results obtained in the course of the research can be implemented in the process of obtaining and rearing calves, and offered to all livestock farms in Ukraine","PeriodicalId":52817,"journal":{"name":"Naukovi gorizonti","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135937423","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research aims to determine the effect of feeding the developed Decapoda fodder. It has been established that feeding Decapoda food contributes to a more intense increase in the size of crayfish. In particular, the increase in length was 1.1±0.1 cm for the period from 90 to 120 days of cultivation and 1.2±0.1 cm for the period from 120 to 150 days. When using Decapoda food, the increase in length of crayfish during the first month of rearing was 1.8 times greater than that of crayfish fed Ancistrus menu. In the growing period from 120 to 150 days, the increase in the length of crayfish in the experimental group was 2.0 times greater, compared with crayfish in the control group for the same period. When crayfish were fed with Decapoda, the intensity of body weight gain was, on average, 1.4 times stronger, compared to control group crabs. The basis of the selection of oilseed flax is the study, selection, and creation of new varieties based on the world collection and suitable for the agro-climatic conditions of Northern Kazakhstan. The purpose of the study is to investigate the collection samples of oilseed flax in the conditions of the Kostanay region of Northern Kazakhstan and to select the most promising pedigree material according to economically valuable characteristics in the conditions of a moisture deficit zone. The following methods were used: biological, phenological, laboratory, statistical, and information analysis of the adaptive capabilities of individual varieties of oilseed flax. An assessment of economically valuable traits was carried out for 14 varieties of oilseed flax from the world collection of various ecological and geographical origin for the period in 2020- 2022. As a result of the research, samples characterised by high yield were identified: Linol – 82 g/m2 , Sibirskaya 38854 – 71 g/m2 , Antares – 78.3 g/m2 . Samples of the varieties Biryuza, Krokus, Kustanayskiy – 8.2 g, Iceberg – 8.1 g were distinguished by high indicators of the weight of 1,000 seeds. A valuable and plastic source material for selection with the main valuable and economic characteristics was identified: the growing season for 85-92 days, with a seed yield of more than 47.5-82.2 g/m2 , a weight of 1000 seeds of 6.9- 8.1 g, oil content in seeds of 43.7-47.5%, plant height of 45-60 cm. The selected samples are recommended for cultivation in Northern Kazakhstan: by precocity – Sibirskaya 38854 and Iceberg; productivity – Linol, Antares; weight of 1000 grains – Nebesniy, Biryuza, Linol, Krokus; oil content in seeds – Kostanayskiy-11, Iceberg; resistance to fusarium – Kostanayskiy-11, Sibirskaya 38854, Antares, Iceberg. Therefore, the aim of the study was to determine the effect of water-soluble flower secretions and their individual elements on the initial stages of seed germination of two winter durum wheat varieties (Vidrada and Koshova). In the course of the study, generally accepted methods were used: laboratory research, analysis, synthesis and statistical. It was found that water-soluble extracts of flowers of different states and elements of C. sativus flowers do not have a significant effect on the morphometric and quality parameters of wheat kernels during germination. Water-soluble secretions of flowers of different states have an inhibitory effect on the development of the root system; secretions of the bud and the bloomed flower inhibit the growth of coleoptiles. The effect of water-soluble secretions of sowing saffron flowers elements has varietal peculiarities: for winter wheat seedlings of Vidrada variety, the petals have a stimulating effect on the total length of roots and their weight; for seedlings of Koshova variety, the opposite effect is observed. The water-soluble secretions of petals and stamens have a stimulating effect on the coleoptile of Vidrada plants, and the water-soluble secretions of petals have a stimulating effect on Koshova seedlings. The correlation between the length of roots and coleoptile under the influence of watersoluble secretions of flowers of different states and their elements, as well as the index of allelopathy have varietal characteristics. The source of the causative agent of rhinotracheitis infection – Bovine alphaherpesvirus 1 hinders the development of the livestock industry, thus, it is necessary to search for possible approaches to prevent and control this infection. The purpose of the research is to determine the immunomorphological changes in the lymphoid tissue of the trachea and bronchial system, in the regional lymph nodes of the lungs and in the spleen in calves naturally affected by infectious rhinotracheitis. The experimental studies were based on the research of immunomorphological reactions in lymphoid tissue during infection of young cattle with Bovine alphaherpesvirus 1, using polymerase chain reaction, histological and immunohistochemical methods. According to the results, it was established that hyperplasia of tracheaassociated lymphoid tissue was observed in the trachea, and hyperplasia of bronchial-associated lymphoid tissue was observed in the lungs; the affected areas of the trachea and lungs were infiltrated with lymphocytes, macrophages and plasma cells. The immunomorphological reactions of regional lymph nodes demonstrate hyperplasia of B- and T-dependent zones, and in the spleen – hyperplasia of T-dependent zones of the white pulp. Thus, immunocompetent cells of lymphoid tissue associated with B- and T-dependent areas of the trachea, bronchial system of the lungs and regional lymph nodes of the lungs, and with T-dependent areas of the spleen, are directly involved in the pathogenesis of infectious rhinotracheitis of respiratory type calves.
