The introduction of drugs into the diet can increase the safety of livestock and improve the quality characteristics of poultry meat. The research aims to evaluate the impact of new 1,2,4-triazole derivatives on some blood parameters, as well as meat and slaughter qualities of poultry. The study was conducted between 2022 and 2023 at Odesa State Agrarian University. The trial was conducted to study the effect of new triazoline derivatives GKPF-109 at a dose of 0.5 ml/bird per day on turkey performance and meat quality. The experiment was conducted on Big-6 turkeys aged 1-105 days. The following research methods were used: morphological and biochemical, organoleptic, physicochemical, and statistical. The effects of triazoline derivatives GKPF-109 on organoleptic (appearance, smell, consistency, fat condition, broth quality during meat cooking) and physicochemical studies of turkey meat for microbiological parameters were analysed and investigated following DSTU 3143:2013. The results showed that there was an increase in average daily weight by 13.1%, slaughter yield of gutted carcasses by 12.4%, semi-gutted carcasses by 12.3% and livestock preservation by 4%. An increase in the nutritional value of meat was noted due to an increase in muscle tissue protein by 7.5%, fat by 8.3%, and energy value by 4.8%. The organoleptic, bacteriological, and physicochemical parameters of turkey meat when using triazoline derivatives GKPF-109 in the diet met the requirements of DSTU 3143:2013. It was concluded that the addition of triazoline GKPF-109 derivatives to drinking water enhances haemopoiesis and has antiinflammatory and hepatoprotective effects. The assessment of the quality of broiler turkey meat and broth at the end of the experiment does not allow to assert a decrease in their aroma and taste, which indicates the absence of a negative effect of triazoline derivatives GKPF-109 and methods of their application on the organoleptic characteristics of meat, which should be considered when keeping turkeys","PeriodicalId":52817,"journal":{"name":"Naukovi gorizonti","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135236473","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, the purpose of this research was to explore the qualitative composition of feed products obtained by culturing methanotrophic microorganisms Methylococcus capsulatus with probiotic bacteria Bacillus subtillis. Arbitrage methods for determining the quality of feeds, which are regulated by regulatory documents (ISO), were used in the research. The results of the research demonstrate that the protein product obtained by growing Methylococcus capsulatus culture has a high content of “crude” protein at the level of 60.9%, which corresponds to high-protein feeds of animal origin by its technical characteristics. The addition of probiotic microorganisms Bacillus subtillis to the medium for cultivation significantly improved the qualitative parameters of the synthesised protein by increasing by 1.5% the amount of essential amino acids, increasing by 3.8% fatty acids and increasing the concentration of calcium and phosphorus. The increase in the concentration of lysine, isoleucine, valine and asparagic acid, due to the cocultivation of two microorganisms allowed increasing their nutritional value for cattle since these amino acids are the most demanded in ruminant diets when using corn silage and other plant feeds. The addition of Bacillus subtillis culture allowed reducing the content of “crude” fibre and improving its biological characteristics by changing the microbiological composition of the obtained product. In the future, the biotechnological method of obtaining feed protein for animals will reduce the dependence of animal breeding on the cultivation of fodder crops and weather conditions","PeriodicalId":52817,"journal":{"name":"Naukovi gorizonti","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135236326","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research aims to determine the metabolism and level of delivery of various forms of protein and energy to the body of highly productive cows in the diets of cows in the second half of lactation under conditions of climate change. Research methods include zootechnical (assessment of feed intake, rationing, selection of groups, organisation of the experiment, determination of milk production), biochemical (determination of the content of basic nutrients in feed, milk quality indicators), statistical, and mathematical. The compensation of protein in the diet of high-yielding cows under climate change conditions was carried out using the protein feed additive TEP-mix with protein protected from rumen breakdown. It has been proven that its inclusion in the cow’s diet can increase average daily milk production by 9.1% in the cold season (0-10°C) and by 28.0% in the summer (21-36.4°C). In addition, the fat and protein content in milk increased in cows receiving the high-protein feed additive TEP mix. It was found that the increase in protein nutrition of cows from 23.18% to 33.53% with the use of the feed additive TEP-mix with protein protected from scar breakdown ensures a reduction in the impact of climate change on the metabolism of dairy cows. Thus, it has been proved that the use of specific protein feed sources that regulate the level of non-cutting protein in the diet can be considered a factor in combating heat stress and increasing milk production of dairy cows throughout the physiological cycle of lactation, including in extreme conditions of high temperatures","PeriodicalId":52817,"journal":{"name":"Naukovi gorizonti","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134931864","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research aims to study the influence of food protein on the development of hypopharyngeal glands, fat body and life expectancy of honeybees. The zootechnical (the setting of the scientific research, the feeding of the bee families, the power of the bee families, productivity), ethological (orientation in the bee-entrance area), micrometrical (physiological and morphological characteristics of the parts of the bee’s body), microscopic (analysis of hypopharyngeal glands and fat body of bees) and statistical (biometric data processing) methods were used in the study. The significant difference in their degree of development depending on the carbohydrate or protein feeding was identified. After feeding sugar syrup to bees, signs of protein malnutrition and the state of development of hypopharyngeal glands corresponding to the І-ІІ degrees were noted. Alveoli of hypopharyngeal glands were reduced, and underdeveloped, with marked spaces, whereas after feeding protein food in the form of sugar syrup with bee pollen the bees had well-developed hypopharyngeal glands. The alveoli of the hypopharyngeal glands of the researched bees filled out, grew milky, with no space between them, and were able to produce larval food. Such a state of the glands’ development corresponds to the ІV degree of the development of hypopharyngeal glands. The research results indicate that the development of the fat body of bees happens at a young age when bees consume protein food the most. It has been proven that protein feeding of the bee colonies of experimental groups contributed to the better development of hypopharyngeal glands in both old and young bees, which resulted in better provision of food for larvae and more active development of the bee colonies. Protein feeding of bees in early spring under conditions of limited supply of protein food contributes to the production of larger larvae, which in turn contributes to the production of more complete bees","PeriodicalId":52817,"journal":{"name":"Naukovi gorizonti","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134931860","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The purpose of the study was to identify the effect of the complex use of sorbents, acidifiers, and aromatase inhibitors on the reproductive capacity of cows in mycotoxicosis. During the study, clinical methods (general examination) and biochemical methods (serum content of calcium, magnesium, urea, total and direct bilirubin, malonic dialaldehyde, aminotransferase activity) were used. Cows were divided into two groups: the first group was a control group, where no treatment was used, and cows of the second group received a comprehensive treatment method. A decrease in the level of calcium to 1.68±0.53 mmol/L, phosphorus – 0.98±0.16, selenium – 0.64±0.1 mmol/L, an increase in the level of magnesium to 1.15±0.17 mmol/L, an increase in aspartate aminotransferase to 121.33±3.91 units, alataminotransferase to 79.31±6.53 units, and total bilirubin to 10.21±0.55 mmol/l, malone aldehyde up to 8.27±0.41 mmol/L, and ceruloplasmin up to mmol/L 2.14±0.39 in chronic mycotoxicosis caused by zearalenone and deoxynivalenol. When using a complex treatment regimen for animals, a substantial change and approximation to the reference levels of selenium, creatinine, AST, ALT, malonic aldehyde, and ceruloplasmin were established. Sweet cherries are a top fruit that is highly valued by consumers due to their taste and visual attractiveness. For the growing demand for fruits on the European market, it is important to examine the sensory properties of cherry fruits in combination with their weight and diameter. The purpose of the study was to substantiate sensory indicators for examining the quality of cherry fruits of different maturation periods and selecting the most competitive varieties for the sustainable provision of fresh fruit in accordance with the requirements of the modern market. In the course of the study, the following methods were used: field, laboratory, and comparative. Determination of the mass, diameter, and sensory assessment of fruits was conducted on 33 varieties of sweet cherries. Experts conducted rating tests on a 9-point scale on ten fruit samples of the examined varieties. Fruits were evaluated by their appearance, aroma, taste, and texture. At the final stage of the assessment, experts calculated the average value of sensory indicators. A sensory profile was set for the fruits of each cherry variety and assigned a score based on the following descriptors: colour intensity, taste, pulp hardness and juiciness, and skin density. The standard methodology for evaluating the sensory properties of fresh fruits has been improved. The average weight (8.41 g) and diameter (22.63 mm) of sweet cherry fruits for three ripening groups were determined. Varieties (Kazka, Dilema, and Udivitiel’na) with the largest mass and diameter of fruits are identified. According to the complex of sensory indicators, the varieties Kazka, Vynka, and Krupnoplidna were distinguished. According to the external attractiveness, consistency, and taste qualities of fruits, a sensory profile has been formed for varieties of different maturation periods. Sensory evaluation of sweet cherry fruits will allow distributing fruit products and selecting raw materials for further use in fresh form, long-term storage, freezing and production of processed products by thermal sterilisation","PeriodicalId":52817,"journal":{"name":"Naukovi gorizonti","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134983267","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

At the same time, a detailed understanding of the cellular and molecular mechanisms in the bovine uterus is crucial to explain and avoid infertility in dairy cows. The research aims to determine the concentration of tumour necrosis factor (TNFα), interleukin-1 (IL-1) and interlekin-4 (IL-4) in endometrial homogenates during oestrus, proestrus, corpus luteum and anaphrodisia caused by endometritis, as well as lactation. The research material was homogenates of cow endometrium taken from the horns of the uterus in its upper third. The methods used to determine the content of IL-1, IL-4 and TNFα in endometrial samples were enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay with a ratio (tissue homogenatephosphate-salt buffer). The results of the study revealed changes in the content of IL-4, IL-1 and TNF-α in the functional layer of the endometrium during anaphrodisia and certain stages of the oestrous cycle. A significant increase in the content of TNF-α and a decrease in the levels of IL-1 and IL-4 in the endometrium compared to the same indicator during oestrus were found. No significant difference in the level of IL-1 during proestrus compared to the corpus luteum was found, as a result of the extinction of the transient phlogogenic reaction inherent in the oestrous endometrium at this time, due to the cytokine balance, which prepares the best conditions for zygote implantation. It was found that the level of IL-1 during oestrus significantly increases relative to the corpus luteum and proestrus stages. It was determined that the concentration of IL-4 in the functional layer of the endometrium of cows suffering from afterbirth retention and endometritis is lower than the same indicator during oestrus, which confirms the inhibition of cell proliferation and differentiation. The purpose of the study is to examine the morpho-physiological characteristics of plants and the biochemical parameters of the fruits of different species (varieties, forms) of the genus Sorbus. Based on the results of practical research, original data on the morphology and economic characteristics of representatives (varieties and forms) of Sorbus intermedia Pers., Sorbus aucuparia L., Sorbus domestica L. are presented. Biological properties of the plants and biochemical parameters of the fruits are highlighted. It is established that all studied representatives of the genus Sorbus have high winter hardiness (1.5 points according to S.Ya. Sokolova), in addition, Scandinavian rowan plants have high drought resistance (4.5 points according to S.S. Pyatnitsky) compared to common rowan plants. Phenological observations of plants of different rowan species allowed for the conditions of the Forest-Steppe of Ukraine to determine the time of onset of ontogenesis phases: development of vegetative buds, appearance of leaves, shoot growth, budding, and flowering, formation and development of ovaries, ripening and fruiting, changes in leaf colour, and leaf fall. Subphases that more accurately characterise the time of onset, peak, and end of a certain phase of development have also been identified, which is a scientific achievement for strategies in the system of ornamental and fruit horticulture. The growth intensity of varieties and forms of representatives of the Sorbus genus in height was studied, and the general condition of plants for viability is evaluated. The purpose of this study was to determine the productivity, preservation, and slaughter performance of broiler chickens, feed conversion on the background of feeding with additives with chelated forms of trace minerals. Poultry growth intensity was determined according to zootechnical methods, slaughter indicators – according to morphological methods, and statistical analysis of the results was used. By the end of the rearing period, the live weight of broiler chickens in the groups where the dietary supplement with chelated trace minerals (second group) and copper chelate complex (third group) was significantly higher than in the control group – by 6.9% and 13.8%, and the relative increase was 4.5 percentage points and 8.5 percentage points, respectively. The growth rate of broilers in terms of average daily weight gain is higher in these groups by 6.8% and 14.2%, respectively. The safety of poultry in the experimental groups is 4% better than in the control group. The feed conversion of a diet with chelated trace element additives is higher. Feed consumption in the experimental groups was reduced by 2.8% when feeding the selected additive and by 9.7% when feeding the copper chelate complex. The results of balance studies revealed an increase in the digestibility of nutrients in the diet of broiler chickens. Additives with micronutrient chelates are effective in increasing slaughter yield, meatiness of the thighs and shins, and pectoral muscles by 5.3-6.2 percentage points. The broilers of the experimental groups had a higher meatiness of the thighs and shins. The highest growth rate was found in broilers fed a copper chelate complex in their diet. The lower feed conversion in the control group is due to the lower body weight of these chickens. Based on the research data obtained, the possibility of effective introduction of additives with chelated microminerals into the diet of broiler chickens was established, which helped to increase the growth rate and meat yield. The ability to consolidate financial resources in the field of insurance contributes to increased responsibility for probable risks distributed in space and time, so it is worth considering insurance relations in the agricultural sector. The purpose of the study is to theoretically and methodologically justify the processes of identifying internal factors influencing the further functioning of the agricultural insurance market in Ukraine. The methodological perspective of this study is based on the use of general scientific and specific methods of cognitive activity: abstract-logical, economic-statistical, structuralfunctional, deduction, induction, and formalisation. A panel database was formed for the period 2012-2021 broken down by the regions of Ukraine. The territorial features of changes in the ratio between insured and sown areas in the western, central, eastern, and southern regions of Ukraine are reflected. Based on the results of the conducted modelling (two models are presented simultaneously: a regular model and a one-year lag model), the influence on the insured area of such factors as sown area, yield, gross harvest, and internal price for agricultural products is established. A comparative characteristic of the statistical qualities of the presented models was made using indicators such as “Residual standard error”, “Multiple R-squared”, and “Adjusted R-squared”. The results of the regression analysis showed the statistical significance of certain factors in motivating agricultural commodity producers to participate in the insurance process.
