Chávez","doi":"10.18046/RETF.I11.2775","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.18046/RETF.I11.2775","url":null,"abstract":"The content of this article is a reflection exercise on the following questions: How to conduct psychological intervention in contexts of struggle and resistance? How to understand psychological well-being in contexts in which the oneiric and cosmogonical worlds are vital? How to conduct intervention in contexts in which the community and working together- as it is in indigenous communities become priorities before the individual dimension takes place? Some proposals are related to transdisciplinarity and the recognition of the historical, social, political, religious and cultural context of the population who receives the intervention and participates in research. It is underlined that psychological intervention in indigenous communities should consider multiple histories of struggle and resistance since they demonstrate that mental and psychical health as well as social and natural order can configurate and be called differently. For example, indigenous communities in southern Mexico use the term lekil kuxlejal which from a hegemonic perspective would be defined as mental health. This manuscript emphasizes that mental health, as well as physical health, should be considered human rights to which everyone should have access to. On the other hand, reflection is done on the ethical aspects of this work and it is argued that it is important to return to participants the results of the research studies they take part of and generate joint actions that promote social transformation and both personal and social liberation processes. It is also defended that it is necessary to humanize disciplines of different knowledge areas and do scientific group work with and for the community. For this reason, several projects have been developed oriented towards the development, improvement and intervention in education. One of these projects is the model of the Fifth Dimension (5D) founded by Michael Cole, which was adapted and implemented in the hotbed of Educational Psychology of the Icesi University, calling it the \"El Mohan club\" project, with the main objective of generating an intervention that would contribute to the social demands of the Playhouse \"La esperanza\", a space located in Siloe with which we worked together, which provides the opportunity for many children from the Siloe community to attend to see classes, perform extracurricular activities and enjoy spaces with library, game rooms, among others. Para asi, argumentar que durante los ultimos treinta anos se ha dado un paso de conceptos –de minusvalia a comunidad y cultura Sorda– que ha permitido a quienes pertenecen a dicha minoria, un cambio en la forma en que la mayoria los identifica y en la forma en la que ellos se identifican o se piensan a si mismos. Nos preguntamos tambien, por el como se ha entendido lo que ahora conocemos como discapacidad, pues muchas son las formas de entender cada palabra que hace referencia a quienes presentan funcionalidades diferentes en sus cuerpos. En ese sentido, las dinamicas de interaccion usuario-consumo se transformaron por completo, posibilitando que los compradores pudieran encontrar “todo” en un mismo espacio. De ese modo, autores como Vasquez (2001) han catalogado estos centros comerciales como no-lugares, partiendo de un supuesto que concibe que en estos espacios no es posible la creacion y estructuracion de vinculos duraderos. Por todo esto, un aspecto fundamental en este articulo radica en cuestionar ese planteamiento que caracteriza a los centros comerciales como no-Lugares, proponiendo, en contraste, que se han ido diversificando y transformando de tal modo que en la actualidad se constituyen como Lugares en donde se construyen sujetos particulares de consumo, en este caso jovenes: agentes de interes para el presente estudio.
