Protecting people and equipment from errors is part of this. These assessments examine the load, the equipment, and the foreseeable needs. A lack of short-circuit current protection can harm equipment and endanger workers. The main goal of this study is to assess if the various protection devices utilized in the Notre Dame of Marbel University’s Main Campus electrical system comply with the established standards. Through a real survey (opening panel boxes and reviewing the original Electrical Plan), the researcher will ascertain the various protection devices in operation. Two approaches are used to test for short circuits: the MVA method and the per-unit method. When determining fault current, only the three-phase fault is considered in the calculation since it is the one having the largest fault value. Aside from the mentioned, the transformer rating calculations were also done. The resulting data will then be compared to the actual protective devices installed in the building. Short circuit currents must be less than the Kilo Ampere Interrupting Capacity rating of the installed protective devices. In conclusion, after conducting a thorough analysis of the current loading schedule and comparing the results obtained through the MVA and per-unit methods, it is evident that the various installed Overcurrent Protective Devices are operating safely. The calculations revealed a substantial disparity of 35.57% between the two methods. Furthermore, the t-test conducted on paired data confirmed the statistical significance of the differences between these two approaches. With this, the researcher recommends conducting a separate study to verify branch circuit calculations, implementing primary metering, and prioritizing the rehabilitation of the Pantua and Alunan lines to enhance the safety and reliability of the electrical system, particularly in tracing complex branch circuits. The Commission on Higher Education’s directive to conduct community extension programs as part of the four-fold functions is an important role of a higher education institution to include communities to serve and help alleviate the standard of living. Community extension service is about relationships and community building through different related programs where activities are aimed at empowering people through long-term programming. The community extension programs of an HEI allow educational programs to reach and “touch the lives” of communities and the environment by providing services that transmit knowledge and technologies to have an impact on holistic and sustainable development programs and people empowerment. This study was conducted to provide a basis to justify the partnership between the educational institution, local government unit, and the proposed donation facility. The study used the Logic Model which is a visual representation of the relationship between a program’s resources, actions, and expected outcomes in assessing the community extension programs of selected higher education institutions. Logic models demonstrate how interventions affect behavior and achieve a goal straightforwardly and succinctly. The Logic Model was a road map outlining causal pathways and the step-by-step relationship between planned activity and desired outcomes. A logic model, in particular, is a visual representation of the resources or inputs required to perform a program, the activities and outputs of a program, and the expected program outcomes. Using the model, the researcher began with the inputs and actions and worked forward. Before starting the process, a clear and complete understanding of the specific research objective was addressed including the analysis of the existing data and pertinent research, as well as performing a formal or informal assessment of available capacity, inputs, and needs was conducted. This used indicators such as the resources required to carry out the activities (inputs), what to do with the resources (activities), tangible items and capabilities (outputs), changes in other individuals or conditions as a result of the activities and outputs (outcomes), distant results (effects) and contextual elements that are outside the program’s control but may aid or impede the achievement of the outcomes. Providers of Outsourced Facilities Management (OFM) services, which include everything from space management to security and maintenance, are essential in helping businesses streamline their operations and concentrate on their core business. The strategic value of outsourcing Facilities Management services is gaining more attention and adaption as the business landscape gets complicated and complex. This increased adoption of the OFM services creates opportunities thus resulting in the presence of both local and global players in this industry. Local outsourced facilities management service providers are encountering a progressively competitive market in today’s business scene. To assess and improve the competitiveness of local OFM service providers fighting to gain market shares against global industry giants, this study explores the idea of critical success factors (CSFs). CSFs stand for those critical areas in which a company must succeed to meet its objectives and beat out rivals. CSFs are essential for comprehending the unique factors that allow local OFM service providers to not only endure but also prosper in a complex network of markets. Additionally, local outsourced facilities management services providers must evaluate their abilities, performance, and competitiveness in comparison to well-established global facilities management leaders that are present in the country. By comparing with these industry giants, local suppliers can establish a baseline and initiate research to gain useful insights, direction, and positioning. This will help them improve their global competitiveness and survival at least at the local industry level.
