Grounded in spiritual beliefs, the Bugkalot’s agricultural practices are deeply rooted in cultural values rather than scientific knowledge. The study aims to fill a significant gap in the existing literature, as previous articles have documented Bugkalot agricultural practices in Nagtipunan, but no comprehensive study has been conducted to document and record their indigenous beliefs and practices. Employing an ethnographic approach with a focus on ethno-agriculture, the researchers engaged five Bugkalot farmers in Wasid through purposive sampling. Thematic analysis of interviews revealed a rich tapestry of indigenous beliefs and practices, ranging from pre-planting rituals like “Pang-ngoma” to the unique sowing process known as “Dedeen.” The Bugkalot’s reliance on natural cues for planting, eschewing fertilizers, and irrigation, demonstrates a sustainable agricultural ethos deeply ingrained in their culture. The research also highlights the communal ethos of the Bugkalot Tribe, as evidenced by equitable meat distribution following hunting and the shared responsibility for the well-being of the community. The study concludes by emphasizing the need for future research to delve deeper into the contemporary application of Bugkalot agricultural practices, assessing their impact on environmental sustainability and informing the development of environmentally conscious farming strategies. Ethical considerations, such as informed consent and privacy, are crucial in conducting research with indigenous communities, ensuring a respectful and culturally sensitive approach. Student-teacher relationships (STR) are intricately tied to the everyday scenarios prevalent in the current generation. They exert significant effects on student engagement, encompass common challenges that may impede the establishment of positive rapport, and are perceived to influence the actualization of a meaningful teaching and learning experience. Employing a convergent mixed-method approach, the study utilized an expert-validated interview protocol and survey questionnaire. Audio-taped semi-structured interviews and surveys among purposively selected (n=16) and randomly picked (n=250) Grade 10 students and teacher-participants computed through the Raosoft sample size calculator in Southville 5A Integrated National High School were performed. Based on the descriptive statistical tools and thematic analysis with themes validation through focus group discussion, the most common STR situations relate to collaborative, encouraging, and respectful affairs among students and teachers. The most common effects of STR on students’ engagement are linked to active participation, increased interest to learn, and improved self-confidence. Meanwhile, factors that hinder positive STR correlate with ineffective communication, poor classroom environment, and high teacher expectations. Further, positive STR impacts authentic learning, the realization of equity and equality, and the idea of learning from setbacks. To-Get-There and successfully achieve meaningful teaching-and-learning experiences, the study recommends ways to foster positive STR, addressing challenges, establishing effective communication including expectations, consistent provision of equal and equity opportunities, and the nurture of values among students and teachers such as empathy, respect, self-growth, and reflective thinking. Artificial Intelligence (AI), for one, is the latest innovation that has changed the landscape of many industries, most notably the field of content writing. AI language models like ChatGPT have garnered attention for their capacity to generate text resembling human language and engage with user queries. This technology has the potential to alter how content is going to be produced moving forward, and content writers are said to be heavily affected. Using a qualitative approach, this study used the Diffusion of Innovation Theory developed by Everett M. Rogers in 1962 to understand how Filipino freelance content writers adopted the advent of ChatGPT, find out at what stage by which they have adopted it, and know the factors that influence their adoption. Out of five established adopter categories, the content writers were classified into three categories: innovators, early majority, and late majority. Innovators are the writers who tried the innovation first. The early majority, on the other hand, adopt new ideas before the average person. Lastly, the late majority are those who will only adopt after the majority has tried it. The current stage by which the writers are currently on has been identified in the process. All of them considered themselves in the continued use of ChatGPT, and the majority said that they use AI daily for their work, which is already a part of their content writing process. The factors influencing the writers’ adoption of the innovation are relative advantage, compatibility, and observability. ChatGPT has revolutionized how content writers perform their duties and responsibilities. But unfortunately, new UNESCO data shows that one in four children aged 5 never receives any form of pre-primary education (ECCE) in their lifetime. This report represents 35 million of the 137 million 5-year-old children worldwide. Early Childhood Care and Education Despite research proving the benefits of ECCE, only half of the countries worldwide guarantee free pre-primary education. Political will and ownership are vital to transforming the ECCE. The UNESCO review highlights progress in some countries, but much more is needed to successfully strengthen the capacity of these systems. This research has been done in the context of Bihar, India. The objective of this study is to assess the daily classroom activities conducted by private and public service providers of ECCE in Bihar and to identify the differences in various classroom activities and the facilities provided by them. A comparative study was conducted using random sampling to select 100 private and 100 public ECCE service providers across Bihar, India. Data collection involved interviews with teachers at these centers. Descriptive and thematic analysis was used to identify key themes in the interview data regarding daily classroom activities and facilities. In the research, the service systems of most of the private service providers were found to be of high quality, while the public service providers were found to be suffering from various deficiencies in classroom operations. Comparatively, the school service and classroom maintenance systems of private service providers were better than those of public service providers, while both types of service providers were trying their best to conduct ECCE classes. Research studies indicate that the government needs to focus on highlighting the issues related to ECCE and implementing special provisions for it. There is a need for various facilities, new standard norms, and new policies for private and public service providers in this area. A survey was conducted involving 210 participants, comprising 2,304 patients from 20 governmental home health care (HHC) sections in hospitals and 199 patients from one private home health care section in private hospitals in the Qassim Region. The majority of respondents were married Saudi men who preferred home visits and faced literacy challenges. Home health care (HHC) was found to be a viable and cost-effective alternative to hospital care, with an average visit duration of approximately 65 minutes and costs amounting to about $400.5 for the private sector and $1,622.694 for the government sector per patient monthly. Despite higher perceived costs, home healthcare remained more economical than hospital-based care. Noteworthy is the continued cost difference between governmental and private sectors on a per-patient monthly basis, indicating potential non-financial factors influencing service delivery. Participants rated HHC services as effective, particularly in assisting with transitions and identifying nutritional deficiencies, although patient deterioration and re-admission received lower ratings. In conclusion, home healthcare services in the Qassim Region were effective across both sectors, highlighting HHC as a cost-effective alternative despite variations in costs between governmental and private providers.
