Its primary focus is to effectively tackle the exceptional non-military security threats a foreign adversary poses. China’s rapid and significant ascent as an Asian hegemon and a global superpower has driven its pursuit of resources and influence worldwide. These hegemonic actions have not only elicited resentment from smaller and weaker nations adversely affected by them but also drawn the ire of the United States and its allies. The Philippines, strategically located in the South China Sea and the Pacific region, has become a prime target of China’s unconventional warfare strategy, where they seek to subdue their adversaries without resorting to kinetic force. China’s United Front Works (UFW) strategy is a crucial element of its hybrid warfare approach, providing a platform for intelligence, influence, and interference operations designed to systematically undermine its enemies. This study aims to describe the current state of the AFPIC’s risk management capabilities in terms of doctrines, organization, and training concerning the security threats posed by China’s UFW. It also seeks to identify the challenges in these areas and propose appropriate solutions to address them. Overall, the objective of this study is to contribute to the long-term endeavor of enhancing the AFPIC’s doctrines, organization, and training to effectively address the threats posed by China’s UFW and other hybrid security threats. The qualitative data gathered through document analysis, key informant interviews, and focused group discussions involving multiple participants from various units and offices within the AFPIC and the AFP Triad, as well as education and doctrine development circles, underwent an iterative and hybrid process of thematic and content analysis. Tools such as SWOT, TOWS, and the causal-impact analytical tool were utilized during this analytical process. The results of this analysis provided valuable insights into the current state of AFPIC’s risk management capability in terms of doctrine, organization, and training, highlighting both the advantages and disadvantages within these areas. Further exploration revealed the primary challenges present in these three domains, which encompassed internal and external dynamics that hindered the optimal implementation of related initiatives. Subsequently, numerous recommendations were formulated to enhance the AFPIC’s doctrine, organization, and training capabilities in response to the exceptional security threats posed by China’s united front works. Central to the research findings were three crucial factors that influenced the success or failure of the doctrinal, organizational, and training endeavors: the support of advocates and champions, the role of knowledge management, an","PeriodicalId":513304,"journal":{"name":"International Multidisciplinary Research Journal","volume":"42 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140251183","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The Philippines is considered to be one of the most prominent online platforms for child sexual exploitation. This study will only focus on the aftercare services during the rescue and early recovery phase of the woman and child victims in violation of RA 9208- Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2003, as amended RA 10364-Expanded Anti-Trafficking Act in Persons Act of 2012. It will not discuss the reintegration phase for it is the scope of social work and development (DSWD). Currently, there is no figure for the actual number of trafficking for there are unreported cases and it is borderless. There are also limitations in terms of women NBI agents. Rescue operations are beyond the scope of this paper for it is classified information and it varies from one operation to another. Mitigating the trafficking of women and children begins with addressing the root causes, raising public awareness, and strengthening the task forces that deal with these cases. According to the United Nations and the U.S. State Government, there are 3Ps to mitigate trafficking in persons. The researcher found 4Ps and these are: Prevent, Protect, Prosecute, and Partnership. The fight against trafficking in human beings in the Philippines remains an urgent and multifaceted challenge that requires a holistic and multi-pronged approach. It aims to profile respondents based on age, gender, marital status, and educational attainment of both parents and spouses and to assess the general average and achievement in school. Key focus areas include the degree of family involvement in parental engagement, child development, curricular activities, and support for school initiatives. Employing a quantitative-descriptive survey research design, the study gathers data from 100 preschool parents in the local community, utilizing random sampling based on criteria established by the researchers. The findings highlight that family involvement in a child’s education significantly influences various domains. In parental involvement, it is observed that regular updates from teachers on the child’s progress aid in enhancing the learning experience. Regarding child development, family involvement appears to correlate with the child’s ability to read, understand, and communicate effectively. In the realm of curricular activities, active parental participation and support in activities such as reading and homework assignments are evident. Finally, in terms of school support, the study shows a positive impact of family involvement in encouraging and facilitating active engagement in school-related activities. Colleges and universities invest significant time and effort in holding several meetings with various constituent groups on and off campus to solicit opinions on their strategic objectives, as well as funding for consultants. Combining Strategic Planning and Budgeting Processes ensures that budgets are founded on the economic rationale, that greater communication and coordination among offices and individuals are established, that plans and budgets are implemented smoothly and that overall organizational performance is improved. The inherent concerns of John Paul College (JPC) in Roxas Oriental Mindoro in constantly maintaining its CHED compliances were analyzed to determine the amount of disparity between actual and projected data. The Institutional Sustainability Assessment (ISA) was used to examine the CHED compliances of JPC to determine the degree of its amenability based on available resources. This research aims to understand the trauma endured by these Meranao IDPs, linking it with paradigms of forced migration, cultural displacement, and post-conflict collective memory. Using the American Psychiatric Association’s definition of trauma and Herman’s Trauma Theory as a guiding framework, six IDP survivors from the Sagonsongan area were interviewed. The study adopted the Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) approach to explore the participants’ experiences. This qualitative method involves a detailed examination of personal lived experiences, attempting to understand how individuals make sense of their major life experiences. The IPA approach was particularly suitable for this study as it allowed the researchers to examine the personal stories of trauma, providing a rich and detailed first-person account of the psychological struggles faced by the Meranao IDPs. The data collection involved in-depth, semi-structured interviews that enabled the participants to share their stories in a flexible yet comprehensive manner. The interviews were transcribed verbatim and analyzed following the principles of IPA, which involve a cyclical process of reading and re-reading the transcripts, coding for themes, and looking for connections between themes across the different narratives. The researchers remained cognizant of their preconceptions and engaged in a reflective process to minimize bias. The findings revealed several themes, such as the traumatic implications of familial dislocation, economic hardships, persistent trauma, feelings of exhaustion, and a compromised sense of safety. These findings not only intersect with established theories but also provide unique insights into the Meranao community’s post-siege challenges. The trauma narratives contributed to a nuanced account of the Meranao IDPs’ psychological struggles after the siege. Coaching has gained recognition as a powerful intervention to enhance leadership capabilities and cultivate trust within the workplace. This study explores the impact of coaching on leadership trust, aiming to uncover the mechanisms through which coaching interventions influence trust perceptions among leaders and their team members. The study addresses the perceived gap in the existing literature by providing nuanced insights into the relationship between coaching and leadership trust. It examines how coaching facilitates the growth of key trust-building factors, such as effective communication, empathy, and transparency, and explores how these factors positively impact leader-follower relationships. The findings from this study contribute valuable implications for leadership development and organizational effectiveness. The research highlights the transformative potential of coaching in fostering authentic and trustworthy leadership, resulting in increased employee engagement, improved team dynamics, and higher levels of organizational commitment. Based on the findings, the following are recommended; 1) Implementing a Leadership Coaching Program: Organizations should design and implement comprehensive coaching programs that focus on developing leaders’ emotional intelligence, communication skills, and ethical decision-making. This approach fosters an authentic leadership style, engendering trust among team members. 2) Aligning Coaching Objectives with Organizational Values: Coaching interventions should be aligned with the organization’s core values and strategic objectives. This alignment ensures that coaching outcomes directly contribute to building a trust-driven organizational culture. 3) Promoting a Coaching Culture: Encourage a coaching culture within the organization, where coaching is seen as a valuable tool for leadership development and trust-building. Cultivate a mindset that embraces coaching as a continuous learning process rather than a remedial measure. 4) Integrating Coaching with Leadership Development Initiatives: Integrate the leadership coaching program with broader leadership development initiatives within the organization. A cohesive approach ensures that coaching complements other learning experiences, reinforcing leadership trust at multiple levels. By embracing these recommendations, organizations can harness the potential of a leadership coaching program to cultivate authentic leadership, engender trust, and foster a culture of continuous growth and innovation. As leadership trust continues to be a foundation of organizational success, this research offers valuable insights for organizations seeking to leverage coaching to build and sustain trust-driven leadership, leading to improved employee engagement and organizational performance.
