This study determines whether there is a relationship and influence of competence and creativity of teaching staff on the implementation of TVET sustainability. This study also determines whether creativity is a mediator or not between the relationship of competence and the implementation of TVET sustainability. A total of 444 ILJTM teaching staff were involved as survey respondents. Pearson's Correlation Analysis and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) are data analysis techniques in this study. The results of the study show that all the mean values of the variables are at a high level, namely competence mean=4.27, creativity mean=4.10 and TVET sustainability mean=4.35. The results of Pearson Correlation analysis found that there is a significant and positive relationship at a medium level for competence (r=0.64, p<0.05) and a high level for creativity (r=0.22, p<0.05) with the implementation of TVET sustainability. Meanwhile, the regression analysis of the SEM path shows that competence and creativity significantly affect the implementation of TVET sustainability with β values of β=0.23 and β=0.37 respectively. For the SEM path regression analysis on creativity, it was found that competence is a significant predictor with a β value of β=0.36. Next, the findings of the influence of the mediator that is creativity for the relationship between competence and the implementation of TVET sustainability is that there is a partial mediator effect. Therefore, in order to increase the level of effectiveness of TVET's sustainability implementation, improvements are needed from the aspects of training infrastructure, curriculum, industry relations, instructor expertise and training quality assurance.","PeriodicalId":505985,"journal":{"name":"International Journal For Multidisciplinary Research","volume":"46 13","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141648762","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Indigenous communities frequently encounter socio-economic marginalisation, with tribal women disproportionately affected by this disparity. Empowering tribal women is fundamental in fostering gender parity, given their pivotal contributions to their families, communities, and customary livelihoods. Moreover, amidst escalating globalisation and environmental crises, the imperative to empower tribal women intensifies, ensuring their inclusion in decision-making concerning land rights, natural resource management, and adaptation to climate change. Self-help groups are instrumental in empowering tribal women as they provide a platform for collective action, economic self-reliance, and community support. By participating in SHGs, tribal women gain access to financial resources, skill development initiatives, and valuable networks, enabling them to improve their socio-economic standing and advocate for their rights within their communities. Moreover, SHGs nurture leadership abilities and decision-making skills among tribal women, empowering them to confront challenges such as gender inequality and social exclusion. The paper aims to explore the perceptions of SHG members from five scheduled areas in Himachal Pradesh regarding 49 statements related to various aspects of tribal women's empowerment. It seeks to consolidate these numerous statements into groups based on their intercorrelation using the PCA method of factor analysis, to gain meaningful insights into the role of SHGs in the lives of these tribal women. The results of the systematic factor analysis using Principal Component Analysis and Varimax Rotation with Kaiser Normalization identify ten key factors. The most significant factor in empowering tribal women works out to be the improvement in skills, awareness, and knowledge. Other major factors include enhanced family conditions through better access to facilities, financial independence, and greater involvement in financial decisions. Additionally, community engagement, economic advancement, self-awareness, political awareness, knowledge of rights, and education and training are crucial components for analysing the impact of Self-Help Groups on tribal women's empowerment. By further analysing the ten driving factors identified in this study, a more systematic approach can be developed to assess the capability of these social groups to impact the lives of tribal women. This will allow for a precise evaluation of their overall empowerment through participation in SHGs.","PeriodicalId":505985,"journal":{"name":"International Journal For Multidisciplinary Research","volume":"27 8","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141645555","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study used a descriptive-correlational research design and an adopted questionnaire to gather the needed data. Participants answered the questionnaire assessing their expectancy-value beliefs, task values, and academic satisfaction. The mean and Pearson moment correlation coefficients were performed to analyze the data. Results showed that the students had a very high extent of expectancy-value beliefs, which have an average of 3.27. Students’ level of task values has an average mean of 3.07, which is interpreted as a high extent, and the students were highly academically satisfied, which has a grand mean of 3.47. Moreover, the results revealed that there is a low positive correlation between students’ expectancy-value belief and academic satisfaction, and between students’ task values and academic satisfaction. They have a high expectancy-value beliefs and task values then students are more likely satisfied in their academic life. Additionally, there is a significant relationship between the students’ expectancy-value belief and academic satisfaction and between the students’ task values and academic satisfaction. Thus, the study commends that the students should have a positive academic self-concept trait to endure good academic performance. It also emphasizes the importance of students' perceptions, beliefs, and values towards academic satisfaction.","PeriodicalId":505985,"journal":{"name":"International Journal For Multidisciplinary Research","volume":"15 6","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141646414","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
