The author draws attention to the fact that the criticism of the “universal” by M. Horkheimer and T. Adorno develops into negation in relation to reason as a unifying and instrumental thinking, which, ac-cording to philosophers, is an activity, on the one hand, associated with the affirmation of the uniform, with the other, focused on self-preservation. The article, from the perspective of the problem of the relationship between the “unique” and the “universal”, reveals the ambivalence of the Frankfurtists’ position, and concludes that their criticism, which is acquiring an absolute character, has a destructive and pessimistic potential. The methodo-logical basis of the study was a complex of general logical and cognitive approaches and procedures, includ-ing methods of philosophical reflection, analysis and synthesis, systemic, formal-logical and dialectical, the method of matching the historical and logical and the externalist approach. The research’s scientific novelty lies in addressing the issue of the relationship between the “unique” and the “universal” within the context of XX century spiritual culture, while its relevance is underscored by the social and cultural significance of reinterpret-ing the controversy between “social totality” and the “individual subject” in modern philosophical discourse, in-fluencing self-awareness and the prospects for modern societal development.","PeriodicalId":504290,"journal":{"name":"Общество: философия, история, культура","volume":"29 5","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141807417","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It presents mechanisms for shaping civil positions and fostering patriotic education among students. Using the example of youth policy at Voronezh State Technical University, the principles of imple-menting key provisions of spiritual development within the framework of humanitarization of education and enhancing the moral and ethical potential of student communities are demonstrated. The tasks of professional development of engineers as drivers of development in high-tech industries and technological sovereignty of the country are outlined. The data of an empirical study conducted at the specified university and designed to determine the essence of the concept of “patriotism” for modern youth are presented. Conclusion dwells upon the fact that the country's universities, actively engaged in fostering students’ civic consciousness, make a sig-nificant contribution to promoting new goals, values, and meanings of spiritual and ethical orientation in Rus-sian society, which is particularly crucial in the complex geopolitical circumstances of our time.","PeriodicalId":504290,"journal":{"name":"Общество: философия, история, культура","volume":"32 8","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141808292","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Modern myths arise from various components, including societal perceptions of risk, which are often manipulated by the media to alter the perceived likelihood of certain events. This manipulation contrib-utes to the creation of political myths that can significantly influence the organization of social spheres and serve as the foundation of the social contract. The analysis delves into the impact of myths on legal systems, comparing their influence on continental European and Anglo-Saxon legal systems. It investigates the incorpo-ration of political mythology into normative legal acts and examines the constitutional implications within mod-ern society. By addressing these issues, the article highlights constitutional challenges prevalent in modern societies, particularly concerning the integration of political myths into legal and social contracts.","PeriodicalId":504290,"journal":{"name":"Общество: философия, история, культура","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141808912","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Wiener’s ide-as predetermined not only the development of man, but also society and existence as a whole, becoming widespread in the postmodern era in the post-industrial society. Comparing a person and a machine, the scien-tist noted that both are capable of performing basic functions related to information: storing, processing and transmitting data. Studying living things and machines N. Wiener emphasized that it is necessary to turn to the abstract level of research to determine the essential characteristics, avoiding the use of superficial scientific approaches. The society, according to the theory of N. Wiener, is a synthesis of the living and the cybernetic things, which de facto correspond to the society of the twenty-first century. It illustrates that the advent of the information age is accom-panied by profound socio-cultural changes closely intertwined and distinctly correlated with the key vectors of scientific and technological advancement, particularly emphasizing the pivotal role of information and commu-nication technologies. The article concludes on the deterministic and transformative influence of these technol-ogies on socio-cultural reality and on humanity itself, substantiating their anthropomodifying significance. It is noted that through the active incorporation of modern information and communication technologies into every-day life, humans endeavor to adapt to existence simultaneously within the realms of physical and digital worlds, navigating through vast volumes of information, virtual communication, and beyond. This adaptation process results in the alteration and expansion of the natural biopsychosocial nature of individuals. A logical outcome of such transformative technological influence is the emergence of a new type of human – technolog-ically advanced – endowed with qualities that determine their existence in the modern information-driven world.","PeriodicalId":504290,"journal":{"name":"Общество: философия, история, культура","volume":"11 7","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141808606","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It acknowledges that the attitude towards the concept of progress and its role in historical understanding was contradictory: while some professional historians applied it in their explanations of world and national history, a significant part criticized it to varying degrees, ranging from mod-erate to radical rejection. This dual stance was often associated with broader positivist and anti-positivist theo-retical and methodological positions. In the case of a positive assessment, the application of ideas and theories of progress by scientists as tools for highlighting historical facts, grouping them, describing and explaining them in specific studies is considered. Conversely, historians who rejected the concept of progress are de-scribed as employing various forms of criticism – factual, logical, philosophical, and ethical.","PeriodicalId":504290,"journal":{"name":"Общество: философия, история, культура","volume":"1 3","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141808910","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The problem of man forms an important part of reflections at all stages of cultural and historical development. In the philosophy of Antiquity, man and the Cosmos were never radically opposed. On the contrary, they always correlated with each other, because the Cosmos was under-stood as animate and human-like. At the same time, whatever the greatness of man, he always fit into the hori-zon of the cosmocentric worldview and did not surpass the Cosmos. The focus of Antiquity was the natural-cosmic life, in which he appeared exclusively as a natural being. In order to realize his potencies on the basis of love and creativity, from a means of achieving any natural-cosmic goals, man had to become a comprehen-sive and harmonious personality, first of all, in social life.","PeriodicalId":504290,"journal":{"name":"Общество: философия, история, культура","volume":"65 39","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141806627","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Grishechkina","doi":"10.24158/fik.2024.7.8","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.24158/fik.2024.7.8","url":null,"abstract":"The article addresses the issue of how scientific knowledge is socially conditioned, emphasizing a communica-tive approach to understanding its foundations. The reflection on the social underpinnings of science is ex-plored within the domain of social philosophy. Central to this exploration is the concept of transdisciplinarity, which characterizes the modern production of scientific knowledge as socially contingent. The traditional model of objective reality, inherent in classical science, is argued to be evolving towards an understanding of objective sociality. This shift acknowledges new models of sociality that underscore the diminishing role of subjectivity amidst increasing individualization. Key thinkers such as K. Knorr-Cetina, Z. Bauman, M. Castells, and G. Reingold are referenced to illustrate this transformation. Sociality is increasingly viewed as a hybrid construct resulting from the collaborative efforts of techno-cyber systems and living individuals. The article underscores the relevance of referencing medical practices to study transdisciplinarity. In medical contexts, biomedical technologies are integrated into the patient’s life world, serving as experimental grounds for testing the applica-tion standards of advanced technologies to address socio-humanitarian issues. Bioethics serves as an exam-ple of transdisciplinary knowledge, integrating philosophical, socio-philosophical, technical, and applied medi-cal perspectives to tackle specific patient-related challenges. In conclusion, the article underscores the dynamic interplay between scientific knowledge production and its societal contexts, advocating for a nuanced under-standing of how scientific objectivity intersects with and shapes modern social realities.","PeriodicalId":504290,"journal":{"name":"Общество: философия, история, культура","volume":"45 10","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141806924","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Pérez-Reverte on the theme of the Spanish Civil War, which, in combination with a number of scientific works, allow to reveal complex problems relevant to the modern world in general and to Russia in particular. The identified issues have structured the objectives of the study, namely: the political-practical, focused on defining conditions for optimal strategic success in wartime scenarios; the cultural-psychological, aimed at understanding human behavior during war through typologiza-tion; and the philosophical-ethical, seeking to delineate normative frameworks emergent amidst combat dy-namics. Based on the presentation and comprehension of the material, the authors have come to the following conclusions. Democratization, promoted by Western political correctness, increasingly shows itself as a de-structive factor in the growing need for social mobilization, hindering rather than facilitating the adoption of op-timal strategic decisions. In modern conditions, the social types of Zombart’s “bargainers” and “heroes”, as well as Gumilev’s passionaries, harmonious individuals and subpassionaries, which A. Pérez-Reverte’s works allow us to comprehend in greater depth, including with the intention of constructive use. Finally, Pérez-Reverte works propose an exploration of the phenomenon of humanistic heroism, whose values in a postmodernist context could serve as a resilient ideological foundation.","PeriodicalId":504290,"journal":{"name":"Общество: философия, история, культура","volume":"55 8","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141807189","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
