To estimate the desired steering angle, the far preview point is employed to modeling driver's direction control intention; with the help of fuzzy inference approach, the near point information can be used to correct driver's direction control intention. The simulation results show that the direction angle as a visual cue can be applied to guide the steering process effectively.
