An analysis of the internal structure was conducted using a two-factor confirmatory factor analysis, which evaluated fit indices and hierarchical omega reliability coefficients. A Pearson's correlation test was used to assess concurrent validity, while sensitivity, specificity, areas under the ROC curve and 95% confidence intervals were used to assess predictive validity.</p><p><p>the bifactor model demonstrated excellent fit indices (CFI=1.000; TLI=0.999; SRMR=0.019; RMSEA=0.028; 95%CI: 0.015 - 0.041) as well as high reliability (ωH=0.886). It was observed that there was a strong correlation between the K10 and the SRQ (r=0.813; 95%CI: 0.784 - 0.837). The ideal cut-off point for screening was identified as being higher than 21, with a sensitivity of 85.2% and a specificity of 82.9%.</p><p><p>the structure composed of a general factor, psychological distress, demonstrated a high level of reliability. Activities were organized in three moments, in real time: prebriefing, expert-modeling videos and debriefing. The expert-modeling videos replaced the clinical simulation scenario during the social distancing required by the COVID-19 pandemic, for the development of telesimulation. Specific validated scales were used to analyze students' self-confidence, self-efficacy and satisfaction. Content analysis assessed the advantages and disadvantages of using expert-modeling videos.</p><p><p>thirty-nine undergraduates took part in the study. High levels of self-confidence, self-efficacy and satisfaction were found among the participants. {"title":"Community of Practice for Nursing: connecting nurses in the Region of the Americas.","authors":"Bruna Moreno Dias, Johel Nazareth Díaz Pérez, Silvia Helena de Bortoli Cassiani","doi":"10.1590/1518-8345.7254.4401","DOIUrl":"10.1590/1518-8345.7254.4401","url":null,"abstract":"<p><strong>Objective: </strong>to analyze the use profile and content of the messages posted in the Community of Practice for Nursing in the Region of the Americas of the Pan American Health Organization as a tool intended to share experiences, knowledge and opportunities for nurses.</p><p><strong>Methods: </strong>a descriptive and qualitative study aimed at analyzing the messages posted in the Community of Practice forums. The data were analyzed by content analysis.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>the Community of Practice has allowed the participation of 1,765 professionals from 20 countries, with a total of 4,001 posts. The topics analyzed (education, employment, leadership and service delivery) were addressed from the perspective of professionals from different countries, presenting the challenges they face and their reflections regarding the situation of nursing in the region.</p><p><strong>Conclusions: </strong>the platform allowed professionals from different countries and performance scopes to interact and discuss relevant topics for nursing education and practice in the Region of the Americas. The convenience sample consisted of 40 participants. A sociodemographic questionnaire and the short version of the Self-Care Dependence Assessment Form were used for data collection.</p><p><strong>Background: </strong>of the 40 (100%) participants, the majority were male; 75% were over 65 years of age, 77.5% had a transfemoral amputation, and 72.5% were confined to a wheelchair. The higher levels of dependency predominated in self-care: \"walking\", \"bathing\", \"dressing and undressing\", \"using the toilet\" and \"transferring\".</p><p><strong>Background: </strong>this study showed that the self-care domain with the highest level of dependence is \"walking\" self-care, and the lowest is \"feeding\". The data was described in a table using the mean, standard deviation, minimum and maximum values.</p><p><p>in a total of 21 tasks, the participants had an assisted completion rate of 9% and an average time of 55.1 minutes (the expected time being 60 minutes). Additionally, the reference lists of selected studies were consulted. Selection and analysis of studies were carried out using Rayyan software through double, independent and blind investigation.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>56 eligible publications were found and ten were selected to compose the study. The following stand out among telenursing interventions: cell phone applications, websites, digital platform, telephone support and teleconferencing.</p><p><strong>Conclusion: </strong>it was evident that the use of Telehealth by Nursing is relevant to the health sector, but still little explored in national and international literature, representing a gap in knowledge to be filled in future research. Studies have shown that its implementation helps and supports healthcare professionals, providing inferences and guidance for quick, safe and effective assistance, even remotely. A total of 60 attributes related to pain were identified and organized into groups: current pain, assessment instruments and characteristics, Nursing diagnosis, etiology of the Nursing diagnosis, interventions for relief, consultations to specialties and pain reassessment.
