The three levels of an organization—individual, group, and organizational—are interconnected and mutually impact one another, ultimately determining the organization’s outcomes in terms of efficiency, performance, and sustainability. A study employing multiple research methods was carried out to understand this complex situation. A total of 450 professionals from various industries participated in an online survey, sharing their experiences and viewpoints. The analysis, conducted using both SPSS and Microsoft Excel, revealed a number of significant findings: Approximately 30% of individuals come from the telecommunications industry. 42.5% consider CE the initial step for strategic initiatives, while technology is regarded as the dominant force (70.45%). Surprisingly, although only 42% utilize all three levels, 40% believe their combined effort leads to the best possible outcomes. This study illustrates a complex ecosystem where big data, technology, and CE must collaborate to achieve organizational sustainability and ensure the success of executive initiatives. By utilizing the combined strength of this triumvirate, organizations can ascend to the highest position on the competitive hierarchy.
","PeriodicalId":47435,"journal":{"name":"Journal of the Knowledge Economy","volume":"119 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":3.3,"publicationDate":"2024-06-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141518618","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":3,"RegionCategory":"经济学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Within this context, a novel fuzzy decision-making model is introduced that has two different stages. The first stage is related to the weighting of the knowledge-based determinants of process optimization in investment decisions by using quantum picture fuzzy rough sets (QPFR)-based multi-step wise weight assessment ratio analysis (M-SWARA). On the other side, the second stage consists of ranking the investment alternatives for process optimization in renewable energy projects via the QPFR-based technique for order preference by similarity (TOPSIS) methodology. The main contribution of this study is that a priority analysis is conducted for information-based factors affecting the performance of renewable energy projects. This situation provides an opportunity for the investments to implement appropriate strategies to increase the optimization of these investments. It is concluded that quality is the most essential indicator with respect to the process optimization of these projects. It can be possible to increase the efficiency of these projects by using better quality products. Innovation has an important role in ensuring the use of quality products in environmental sustainability. Owing to new technologies, it is easier to use more effective and innovative products. This condition also contributes to increasing the efficiency of the energy production process. Furthermore, the findings also denote that the most appropriate energy innovation alternative is the variety of clean energy sources. By focusing on different clean energy alternatives, the risk of interruptions in energy generation can be minimized. In other words, the negative impact of climatic conditions on energy production can be lowered significantly with the help of this situation.
","PeriodicalId":47435,"journal":{"name":"Journal of the Knowledge Economy","volume":"82 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":3.3,"publicationDate":"2024-06-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141518619","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":3,"RegionCategory":"经济学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Four coopetition models are formulated: a full competition strategy, an R&D cooperation strategy, a production cooperation strategy, and a full cooperation strategy. The study examines the optimal strategy and analyzes the impacts of related factors on strategy selection from various perspectives, including the government's subsidy rate, R&D investments, outputs, profits, and social welfare. The results show that the R&D subsidy incentivizes R&D investment, but it is only sometimes consistent with optimal profit coopetition strategies. The full cooperation strategy maximizes profits when technological spillovers are low, while the complete competition strategy becomes dominant as technological spillovers increase. The full competition and R&D cooperation strategies are always better than the production cooperation and complete cooperation strategies in promoting R&D investment, expanding production scale, and improving social welfare. The level of technology spillovers, product differentiation, range preference, and credit price positively affect the equilibrium results under the four strategies, but a higher credit price is sometimes better. Therefore, the government should formulate dynamic subsidy policies, create a fair market competition environment, encourage knowledge flow and technology transfer, advocate differentiated competition, improve the charging infrastructure, and implement measures such as the credit pool management system.
","PeriodicalId":47435,"journal":{"name":"Journal of the Knowledge Economy","volume":"10 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":3.3,"publicationDate":"2024-06-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141531316","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":3,"RegionCategory":"经济学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The goal of study is to create a logistics performance improvement roadmap for Kazakhstan and Turkey. In spite of large-scale investments in infrastructure and the developing transportation infrastructure in Turkey, it could not reach the place it deserves in the LPI ranking. Similarly, Kazakhstan aims to rank higher on the LPI scale. Even though, the huge infrastructure investment and improved service quality years by years in the logistics sectors as well in these countries, Turkey and Kazakhstan were countries that lag far behind the best logistics performers. To specify the pathways whereby the country can move up its logistics performance index (LPI) rank, the effect of the core LPI components (“customs,” “infrastructure,” “international shipments,” “logistics competence and quality,” “tracking and tracing,” “timeliness”) on the overall LPI score was measured.
","PeriodicalId":47435,"journal":{"name":"Journal of the Knowledge Economy","volume":"198 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":3.3,"publicationDate":"2024-06-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141518622","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":3,"RegionCategory":"经济学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These capacities refer to the paradigm of economic complexity which synthesizes the competitive capacity of territories. Also, we calculated the regional economic complexity of Morocco as well as indices related to the diversification of regions and the ubiquity of activities. We then highlight the link between the complexity of regions and their well-being. For this, we used a microdata base of nearly 8000 industrial establishments over the period from 1990 to 2015 for the twelve Moroccan regions and 223 activities. Thus, it turns out that Moroccan regions form a space-product network around nuclei of different densities illustrating productive systems of such different maturities. This reveals the emergence of ecosystems around complementary activities leading to an increase in the complexity of the regions associated with them. In addition, regions of high complexity exhibit high diversity combined with low ubiquity with relatively stable regional dynamics between 1990 and 2015. The complexity spreads from the economic capital Casablanca-Settat to the neighboring regions with a high intermediate complexity then those adjacent with a low intermediate complexity before spreading to the other southern regions with low complexity. Finally, it turns out that a high level of economic complexity is linked to a high level of certain components of objective well-being. Thus, high economic complexity is linked to such high economic development accompanied by qualified human capital and advanced innovation improving their living conditions and health with, however, low levels in terms of the environment and governance.
","PeriodicalId":47435,"journal":{"name":"Journal of the Knowledge Economy","volume":"42 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":3.3,"publicationDate":"2024-06-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141518623","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":3,"RegionCategory":"经济学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Leveraging the technology acceptance Model (TAM) and the Fogg behavior model (FBM), our research scrutinizes eight determinants — perceived usefulness, privacy, authenticity, experiential value, perceived ease of use, motivation, capability, and triggers — to delineate their impact on user engagement with intelligent advertising. Employing a survey alongside structural equation model analysis, we unveil that these determinants unanimously foster information interaction behavior, with motivation and capability mediating the relationships between user experience factors and information exchange. The findings elucidate the multifaceted nature of user engagement in AI-powered mobile advertising, highlighting the indispensable role of a user-centric approach in crafting effective and engaging advertising strategies. This study advances the intelligent advertising discourse by underscoring the criticality of user experience factors and offers pragmatic insights for advertisers aiming to harness AI for more personalized and immersive ad experiences. The understanding of evolutionary patterns in quantum computing is a basic goal for strategic planning and technological development of nations. This study applies, using patent data, different approaches, such as the logistic model and the entity-linking technique, to analyze the evolutionary trajectories of topics in quantum computing. Technology analysis of patents here detects three distinctive stages—the emerging stage (1992–2008), the growth stage (2009–2017), and the maturity stage (2018–2022)— and shows main characteristics of the technology life cycle in quantum computing for technological forecasting and management. Logistic model suggests that quantum computing technology seems to be in a maturity stage, as evidenced by a surge in patent filings since 2016. Dominant topics are given by qubits, quantum gates, quantum information, and quantum dots exhibit exponential growth, and suggest their pivotal role in technological evolution of quantum computing. In addition, the entity-linking method uncovers complex and evolving interconnections in quantum computing topics over time: a suggested categorization in emerging, declining, dominant, and saturated topics clarifies critical groups that guide new directions of technological progress in quantum computing. The insights of this study can shed light on complex scientific and technological dynamics that drive the co-evolution of quantum computing technologies that can support strategies of innovation management and policies to foster technological change for competitive advantage of firms and nations in turbulent markets.
","PeriodicalId":47435,"journal":{"name":"Journal of the Knowledge Economy","volume":"17 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":3.3,"publicationDate":"2024-06-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141518624","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":3,"RegionCategory":"经济学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
