Methods: this is a scoping review, with searches conducted in six databases, with no time limit, in Portuguese, English, and Spanish. Results: 2,200 articles were obtained, with 19 publications eligible for the final sample. The most used web-based technologies were telehealth and telemedicine (47.3%), online intervention programs (21.0%), and mobile apps (15.8%), with a lower rate of use of serious games, social media, and urination videos (5.3%), mostly in the home setting. Conclusion: the mapping of technological evidence in outpatient and home care in pediatric urology allowed us to identify the types of technology and their applications focused on self-management of symptoms and self-efficacy, for monitoring and follow-up of urologic care. Methods: qualitative study, guided by the Family Management Style Model, conducted with 24 families of children in chronic condition. The data, collected by telephone contact through semi-structured interviews, were submitted to thematic analysis. Results: data analysis resulted in three thematic categories: Changes in the routine of family members; Emotions triggered in family members and children due to the pandemic; and Implications of the pandemic by COVID-19 for the continuity of care. They highlighted: incorporation of hygiene care, social distancing concomitant to domestic and professional activities at home; and feelings of fear and concern about the children's health and development and the need for caregivers to provide rehabilitation and support for school activities. Conclusion: it was observed that the pandemic changed the family routine, produced negative feelings in families, modified care demands and compromised access to services. Results: the textual corpus gave rise to two categories: professional nursing training on health of LGBTQIA+ people (subdivided into: curricular spaces addressing health of LGBTQIA+ people and Formative deficits for health care of LGBTQIA+ people) and Extracurricular spaces of professional training on health of LGBTQIA+ people (subdivided into: informal and extracurricular learning on health of LGBTQIA+ people and Work context and autonomy in learning about LGBTQIA+ health). Conclusion: addressing the health of LGBTQIA+ people in the training of nurses needs to expand beyond specific classes, which demands the creation of spaces within the curricular matrices that address the specificities required by this population, without, however, relegating them to extracurricular activities. Methods: descriptive study of technological innovation, guided by Theory of Self-Care to organize the application´s content and production. Design Science Research that followed the steps: problem knowledge identified in practice; determination of the artifact objectives; development; demonstration. Before the technology development, a qualitative study was conducted to understand difficulties in self-care and a scope review to map the content. Two specialized professionals helped in the application development. Results: ostocuide application has 36 screens subdivided into menus: registration and record; feeding; self-care; stomas types; health care; laws; curiosities; contact and interactive questions. The application offers the diary function for photos and texts records about care performed with the stoma and the possibility of sending questions to researchers responsible for the application. Conclusion: the application was successfully developed and gathered resources that may collaborate with the self-care of people with intestinal stomas. Methods: qualitative study with 11 nurses from Basic Health Units, including urban and rural areas. Data was processed and analyzed using the software IRAMUTEQ (R pour les Analyses Multidimensionnelles de Textes et de Questionnaires). Results: classes 1 and 5 were grouped into the class “Inadequate infrastructure”; class 2 was “Results of the collected exams”; class 3, “Feelings at the time of examination”; and 4 “Team training”. Conclusion: we revealed that women presented negative feelings during the examination, professionals lacked further training, there were no strategies to deal with the situation in the unit, and facilities were inadequate to attend the needs of the users. Contributions to practice: we demonstrated that it is essential to provide care to physically disabled women and carry out routine exams in this population. Methods: scoping review conducted in nine databases, according to the guidelines of the Joanna Briggs Institute. Scientific articles available for full open access, in any language, regardless of the method used, were included. Results: 13 studies were analyzed, with a predominance of literature reviews. The themes were: health education to patients and companions about events related to the skeleton; pain assessment and management; prevention of pathological fractures; management of spinal cord compression; assessment of hypercalcemia; ensuring safety in the administration of oral bisphosphonates; quality of life assessment; and monitoring of progress, adverse events, and therapeutic outcomes. Conclusion: nurses provide important ongoing support to patients, monitor progress, side effects, and therapeutic outcomes, and prevent and manage skeletal-related events. Methods: cross-sectional study with 105 mothers after normal delivery and their respective newborns in the first hour of life in two maternity hospitals with Prepartum, Labor, and Puerperium units. We used an instrument with 36 questions based on the National Guidelines of Assistance to Normal Birth. Analysis was based on the chi-square test for homogeneity and Fisher's exact test to compare the assistance provided in maternity hospitals. Results: both maternity hospitals attended the usual risk binomials. Regarding the assistance provided, only the federal maternity promoted encouragement of immediate contact between mother and newborn in the first hour of life, besides favouring 7.1% (n=3) of the binomials with the golden hour in a correct and significant way (p=0.037). Conclusion: despite the similarity of the assistance profile, only one maternity hospital performed the golden hour, being necessary the insertion of good practices in maternity hospitals. Methods: integrative review, conducted from July to August 2022, in the following databases: LILACS, MEDLINE, Web of Science and SCOPUS. Results: 472 primary studies were found; however, at the end of the analysis process, 14 productions were included in the study. Obstacles to access to health were observed, such as the invisibility of health specificities, the lack of information and preparation of professionals, the susceptibility, which appears in the juvenile stage, and the resistance to care for sexually transmitted infections, highlighting the need to invest in the production of policies that affirm the right to health for this segment of the population. Conclusion: there was a lack of studies on the access of transvestites and transgenders to health services. These difficulties are associated with conservatism, heteronormativity, lack of implementation and regulation of public policies for them. The inclusion criteria were nurses who had held a management position for at least six months, and the exclusion criteria were those who held an assistance position. Data were collected through individual interviews with a semi-structured script and document analysis and analyzed using Content Analysis. Results: the ethical problems were related to duplicity and lack of information about norms and routines; lack of patient flow; routine changes without communication with the nurse coordinators; absenteeism and presenteeism of the nursing team; refusal of reassignment by technicians; nursing professionals who chose to work in the COVID-19 sector and earn additional unhealthy salary and those who did not choose due to fear of disease; and conflicts arising from the patient. Conclusion: the analysis revealed situations marked by ethical problems that compromise the dynamics of work and the quality of care. Methods: observational, retrospective, and analytical study. Data were collected in the State System of Data Analysis. For the comparative analysis of people with and without obesity, n=168,808 was adopted. The analyses were performed using the log-binomial regression model and relative risk calculation. The comparative model was adjusted for sex, age group, heart disease and diabetes. Results: in more than 95% of COVID-19 notifications, information regarding the risk factor obesity was recorded as ignored. Obese individuals with COVID-19 had 26% higher risk of death when compared to those without obesity. Obese individuals in the 11 to 60 age groups had the highest mortality risks compared to individuals without obesity. Obese women in the age groups 31 to 50 years and elderly women over 71 years had the lowest mortality risk when compared to obese men. Conclusion: obese people, especially adults, have an increased risk of mortality from COVID-19.
