Unemployment hysteresis is a macroeconomic problem. The empirical methodology relies on the \"ARDL\" autoregressive distributed lag approach and shows that there is a hysteresis phenomenon from 1987 to 2021. The study showed that there is a long-term relationship between the different variables. The results suggest that a reduction in Tunisia’s inflation, interest rates and consumer price index would be favorable to a reduction in the unemployment rate.","PeriodicalId":45345,"journal":{"name":"Migration Letters","volume":"59 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":1.7,"publicationDate":"2023-12-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139180149","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The sample consists of 304 workers, the technique is the survey and the instrument is the questionnaire. It was found that 58.6% consider their job satisfaction to be fair, where the most important dimension is “Job challenge” and the one to be improved is “Reward for effort”; and 81.3% consider their job performance to be adequate, where the most important dimension is “Labor relations” and the one to be improved is “Teamwork”. It was concluded that job satisfaction influences staff performance, given the chi-square = 118.477 (p = 0.000) and Nagelkerke's R2 = 0.490; similarly, there is an influence in each of the dimensions of the independent variable (Challenging work, working conditions, institutional support and reward for effort) on the dependent variable.","PeriodicalId":45345,"journal":{"name":"Migration Letters","volume":"6 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":1.7,"publicationDate":"2023-11-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139248421","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The type of research is basic, with a quantitative approach, at the explanatory level, with a non-experimental design, and a sample of 211 SMEs in Peru. The research concludes that there is a significant influence of cloud computing and certain factors in the digitalization of SMEs in Peru. An exploratory factor analysis (EFA) was carried out, obtaining values above 0.90 for the Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin tests, as well as the Barlett's sphericity test p=0.000 and the analysis of variance explained by 66.26% for cloud computing and 68.28% for the digitalization of SMEs, determining that the interrelation of the items is satisfactory. Confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) was applied, obtaining values for CFI=0.901, and TLI=0.890, being close to 1, thus determining that the models are appropriate and give validity to the construct. Additionally, construct validity is performed by PLS-SEM analysis of the model. The research determines that there is a moderate to strong correlation of part of the factors of cloud computing in the digitalization of SMEs, through Spearman's correlation coefficient obtaining values higher than 0.685, as well as through the ordinal regression that through the Pseudo R-squared in the Nagelkerke indicator obtained 80% and in the model adjustment obtaining Sig = 0.00. These results were contrasted with the bootstrapping method through the PLS-SEM analysis obtained for the T-statistic values greater than 2, as well as for the P-values lower than 0.05, these results determine that there is a causal relationship between the factors of cloud computing and digitalization of SMEs.","PeriodicalId":45345,"journal":{"name":"Migration Letters","volume":"47 8","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":1.7,"publicationDate":"2023-11-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139248950","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The objective of this study is to determine the elasticity of demand for avocado in these countries. “Since Alfred Marshall included it in his work Principles of Economics. An analysis is made of the statistical series of each variable, its historical evolution, as well as its individual trends. Based on the following econometric model: Qd(t) = βo + β1(P)t +β2(Yp)t + β3(TC)t + β4(N) + u Eviews 9.0 software was used, applying a log-log econometric model where the data series are given in years. To measure the elasticity of demand for avocado, the indicators used were consumption, population, per capita income in dollars, and the international price of avocado in dollars. In the Netherlands, the demand for Peruvian avocado shows the following behavior: A 1% increase in price causes a reduction in demand of 0.16 %. An increase in per capita income of 1% causes the demand for avocado to increase by 2.7%. A 1% increase in population causes the demand of avocado to increase by 8.23 %. In Spain, the demand for Peruvian avocados shows the following behavior: A 1% increase in price generates a reduction in demand of 0.09 %. If per capita income increases by 1%, the demand for avocado increases by 0.13 %. A 1% increase in population generates that the demand for avocado increases by 3.49%.
