So it is different from the traditional small capacity linear current source. The whole equipment can output steady harmonic current include the selective order harmonic (below 25th order), reactive current and unbalanced current. Besides, dynamic change process of harmonic current can also be accurately simulated from the equipment. The output harmonic current can be set from communicating with computer or the EPROM. The harmonic current generator can be applied to testing electrical measure equipment or debugging the harmonic current elimination equipments. This paper first introduces the operation principle and main circuit; and then analyzes the control circuit structure and presents one control method with voltage feedforward control and the output current DFT feedback control; lastly the simulation results and the experiment results based on 50 kVA harmonic current generator are given in this paper. The results of the simulation and experiment verify well performance of the device even though for the large capacity","PeriodicalId":448315,"journal":{"name":"2006 CES/IEEE 5th International Power Electronics and Motion Control Conference","volume":"57 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2006-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115406972","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is used as a local lifetime control technology in high-power diodes. The theoretical dependence of electrical active Pt concentration Cpts on irradiation induced defects concentration Cv is also studied. The diodes' reverse performance parameters are measured. They are functions of irradiation dose. For low proton irradiation dose, the gettered quantities of platinum by irradiation induced defects are enhanced when the irradiation dose increases. This can improve the performances of the device. But when the proton irradiation dose is high enough, the peak concentration of gettered platinum tends saturation. Further more, for deep junction device, the side effect brought by high dose irradiation will decrease the platinum gettering efficiency and the performances of the device degenerated under higher irradiation dose. On the base of theoretical study, we improved the device structure and manufacture process, a higher peak concentration is obtained. The recovery speed has been improved further","PeriodicalId":448315,"journal":{"name":"2006 CES/IEEE 5th International Power Electronics and Motion Control Conference","volume":"307 9","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2006-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120838804","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, a method to address this problem through automatic tuning of the pulse edges of gating signals is proposed. Specifically, the CM noise current is sensed by a DSP and the noise energy is calculated, then a search algorithm is employed to tuning the pulse edges of the gating signals in order to minimize the CM noise. Experimental results show that up to 10 dB reduction of the CM current can be obtained from 500 kHz to 5 MHz. Implementation of the this method requires little hardware expense, and the software can be synthesized into the main control DSP of the converter","PeriodicalId":448315,"journal":{"name":"2006 CES/IEEE 5th International Power Electronics and Motion Control Conference","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2006-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121249357","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The system utilizes a central converter to convert the mains voltage to a particular waveform in power-bus, and then with the power-bus, simplified ballasts can be driven in parallel. According to the different voltages waveforms in power-bus, two centralized ballast systems are proposed: the centralized HID ballast system with DC bus and the centralized HID ballast system with AC bus.
