Solar power forecasting is playing a key role in solar PV park installation, operation and accurate solar power dispatchability as well as scheduling. Solar Power varies with time and geographical locations and meteorological conditions such as ambient temperature, wind velocity, solar radiation and module temperature. The location of Solar PV system is the main reason of solar power variability. Solar variability totally depends on system losses (deterministic losses) and weather parameter (stochastic losses). In the case of solar power, deterministic losses can be found out accurately but stochastic losses are very uncertain and unpredicted in nature. The proposed soft computing technique will be suitable for solar power forecasting modeling. In this paper Fuzzy theory, Adaptive Neuro-fuzzy interface system, artificial neural network and generalized neural network are used as powerful tool of solar power Forecasting. This soft computing cum nature inspired techniques are able to accurately and fast forecasting compared to conventional methods of forecasting. This is done analyzing the operational data of 101 kW PV systems (43.30 kW located in Block 1 and 58.08 kW in Block 2), during the year 2011.","PeriodicalId":445295,"journal":{"name":"2013 13th International Conference on Environment and Electrical Engineering (EEEIC)","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126427191","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Then, several approaches were proposed in the relevant literature to find the critical conditions and the problem was faced also with reference to unbalanced three phase power systems. The unbalances, in fact, can be responsible of more critical stability conditions than in balanced power systems. Continuation power flow and optimal power flows were applied to analyze such conditions. In this paper a new three-phase optimal power flow is proposed that makes use of complementarity constraints to take into account the effect of reactive generation limits on voltage stability in unbalanced power systems. An application is presented on a test system highlighting the feasibility and the goodness of the proposed technique. Both load and line unbalances are taken into account to capture the dependence of voltage stability on the level of unbalances.","PeriodicalId":445295,"journal":{"name":"2013 13th International Conference on Environment and Electrical Engineering (EEEIC)","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134017393","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The temperature which occurs in the cutting zone, during the machining of the bones, may have many negative consequences in the postoperative period. Therefore, the measuring and the modeling of this parameter is a very important task. In this paper, the thermocouples are presented as a potential tool for the temperature measuring. The paper also deals with the system for validation of the thermocouples. The artificial neural network is used for modeling of the relationship between the electromotive force (as the thermocouple output) and the corresponding temperature. This paper is focused on applying learning clustering algorithms for identifying critical states in power systems. The authors propose an intelligent security alert system for early detection of alarm states using the clustering ensemble concept. The security assessment clustering ensemble is realized in STATISTICA 6.0 and GA Fuzzy Clustering. Matlab and Power System Analysis Toolbox are used as the modeling tools. We demonstrated the approach on the modified IEEE One Area RTS-96 power system. Students are taught to appreciate the earth and its natural sources at a young age through various activities. A study was taken place to gauge the environmental education pertaining the understanding and practices of 3R's among secondary school students from five states in Malaysia. Data was collected from 468 students ranging from 13 to 19 years old using a survey questionnaire. It involved the major races in Malaysia from both genders. The results showed that students have a good understanding on 3R's with the most understanding on the Recycle followed by Reuse and Reduce. Urban students understood Reuse the most as compared to rural students who understood Recycle the most. They were also aware of the benefits gained from 3R's. In terms of sustainable behavior, students from both areas practiced the 3R's weekly and monthly. Some main statements regarding the practice of 3R's were obtained from students. The results also showed that schools were the main source to 3R's followed by electronic and printed media.","PeriodicalId":445295,"journal":{"name":"2013 13th International Conference on Environment and Electrical Engineering (EEEIC)","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121082241","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
