Mediante un muestreo bietapico de conveniencia con submuestreo aleatorio intragrupo se han seleccionado 224 adolescentes y adultos jovenes con edades comprendidas entre los 15 y los 26 anos (M = 18.2; DT = 1.887) a los que se les aplicaron tres cuestionarios: Escala de Autoestima de Rosenberg, Inventario de Relaciones Interpersonales y Dependencias Sentimentales (IRIDS-100) y Cuestionario de Violencia entre Novios (CUVINO). De acuerdo con los resultados obtenidos, se ha hallado que los jovenes victimizados presentan mayor dependencia emocional y menor autoestima que los no victimizados. En funcion del genero, se encontro que las adolescentes victimas de violencia tenian menor autoestima y los varones ejercian con mas frecuencia procesos de acomodacion y de manipulacion. Se comprueba tambien una tasa superior de violencia y dependencia emocional en los estudiantes de Educacion Secundaria frente a los universitarios. Se presentan las implicaciones de los resultados obtenidos tanto para investigaciones posteriores como para los programas de prevencion e intervencion y se senalan las fortalezas y limitaciones de este trabajo. EnglishThe aim of this paper is to prove the existing links between Dating Violence, Emotional Dependence and Self-Esteem in adolescents and young adults and the existing differences depending on gender and educative level. 224 adolescents and young adults aged between 15 and 26 years old were analyzed (M = 18.2; SD = 1.887) were selected using a two-sample sampling of convenience with intra-random random subsampling. Three questionnaires were applied to the students: Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale, Interpersonal Relationships and Sentimental Dependences Inventory (IRIDS-100) and Dating Violence Questionnaire (CUVINO). Results point out that victimized young people show off more emotional dependence and lower self-esteem rates than non-victimized ones. Depending on gender, we found that victimized female have lower self-esteem while their male counterparts tend to use more accommodation and manipulation strategies. It also exists a higher rate of violence and emotional dependence in High School students than in University ones. The implications of the results for further research and for prevention and intervention programs are presented and limitations and strengths of the research are also pointed off.","PeriodicalId":44413,"journal":{"name":"Revista Iberoamericana de Psicologia y Salud","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":2.3,"publicationDate":"2017-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68737576","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Se propone como objetivo de este estudio analizar la relacion entre la dependencia emocional y los diferentes tipos de apego adulto, asi como su prevalencia y los perfiles en funcion del genero, la edad y el historial de parejas. Para ello, han participado 382 adolescentes y jovenes espanoles con edades comprendidas entre los 18 y 35 anos (M= 24,5; DT= 1,978). Se ha determinado que el 23,3% de los participantes muestran signos de dependencia emocional, siendo los varones los que puntuan mas alto, asi como los jovenes que han tenido mas de dos relaciones de noviazgo. Se ha demostrado la relacion entre dependencia emocional y estilos de apego adulto, en el sentido de que el estilo seguro se asocia con la ausencia de DE y el estilo huidizo-temeroso, con los mayores niveles. Se aporta evidencia de la relacion entre dependencia emocional y apego adulto y se discuten las implicaciones en las relaciones de pareja. EnglishA concept linked to Emotional Dependency is that of attachment, so that in its own definition are included terms such as pathological or invalidating attachment and it has even been found that personal history of childhood affective deficits and anxious adult attachment represent indicators of such disorder. Thus, the objective of this study is to analyze the relationship between emotional dependence and the different types of adult attachment, as well as their prevalence and profiles according to gender, age and the history of couples. To this end, 382 Spanish adolescents and young people aged 18-35 participated (M = 24.5; DT = 1,978). It has been determined that 23.3% of the participants show signs of emotional dependence, with men being the ones who score the highest, as well as young people with whom they have had more than two dating relationships. The relationship between emotional dependence and adult attachment styles has been demonstrated, in the sense that safe style is associated with the absence of ED and the elusive-fearful style with the highest levels. Evidence is provided of the relationship between emotional dependence and adult attachment, and the implications of couple relationships are discussed.","PeriodicalId":44413,"journal":{"name":"Revista Iberoamericana de Psicologia y Salud","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":2.3,"publicationDate":"2017-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68738178","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Patients in the Internet group only had minimal initial contact with a therapist. The sample was composed of 44 adult patients with a diagnosis of agoraphobia. The Internet group and in-person groups underwent an 11-session intervention program. Agoraphobic cognitions, body sensations, social fear (as mobility test), and depression level were used as outcome measures. Results showed higher attrition rates in the Internet group. The in-person group exhibited improvements in all dependent measures, with moderate effect sizes (0.63 to 0.77 cohen’s d). The Internet group showed improvements in body sensations and depression level (moderate effect sizes). Intergroup comparisons showed a higher efficacy of in-person therapy, with moderate to large effect sizes ( 2 = 0.15 to 0.40). After the intervention, the Internet group exhibited better results than the control group and comparable results to the in-person group in body sensations, social fears/mobility, and depression level. No existe evidencia para sostener que los criterios de realidad discriminen entre memorias de hechos auto-experimentados y fabricadas a partir de un evento visto en video. Para conocer si los criterios de realidad disciernen entre ambas memorias, se obtuvo el testimonio (entrevista cognitiva) de 30 adultos de una memoria autobiografica (auto-experimentado) y una memoria fabricada a partir del visionado de un video. Los resultados mostraron que el total de criterios de realidad del CBCA (Criteria-Based Content Analysis), asi como ciertos criterios de realidad discriminaron entre ambas memorias en linea con la hipotesis Undeutsch. Nevertheless, much of the available scientific evidence provides from experiments where real-life memories were substituted by memories of events seen video (non-experienced). As for knowing if reality criteria do discriminate between self-experienced memories and fabricated memories of events seen in a video, the testimony of 30 adult participants was obtained about an autobiographic event (self-experienced) and about of an event seen on video (fabricated). The results showed that the total CBCA (Criteria-Based Content Analysis) criteria, as well as several reality criteria discriminated between both memories in line with the Undeutsch hypothesis. Nonetheless, other reality criteria did not discriminate, were unproductive or discriminated against the hypothesis. A similar pattern of outcomes was found for the classification rate of the selfexperienced memory. The implications of the results for forensic practice are discussed.","PeriodicalId":44413,"journal":{"name":"Revista Iberoamericana de Psicologia y Salud","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":2.3,"publicationDate":"2017-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"68737948","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Entre los criterios de inclusion se encuentra uno que resulta clave: la presencia de delincuencia registrada como tal por la ley, excluyendo todos aquellos comportamientos vandalicos o de naturaleza antisocial. Como resultado, se obtuvo una muestra de k = 39 estudios primarios para la empatia cognitiva y k = 52 estudios para la afectiva, abarcando mas de 30 anos de investigacion. Los resultados revelan una asociacion moderada entre delincuencia y la dimension cognitiva (r = -.220) y algo mas leve con la dimension afectiva (r = -.140). Se realizo un analisis de moderadores observando que determinadas caracteristicas (tanto sociodemograficas como metodologicas) modulan la intensidad de la asociacion entre empatia y delincuencia.
