This paper proposes NPP converter for multiphase power conversion applications. The discrete-time modeling of NPP converter load currents and DC capacitors voltage is presented in terms of switching states. A generalized procedure for the predictive current control (PCC) of two-leg, three-leg, four-leg and five-leg NPP converters is presented. The simulation results validate that the PCC scheme forces the load currents to track their reference currents with less steady-state error and fast transient response while maintaining the DC capacitors voltage balanced during all operating conditions.","PeriodicalId":443463,"journal":{"name":"2017 12th IEEE Conference on Industrial Electronics and Applications (ICIEA)","volume":"220 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123064487","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

At the same time, multidisciplinary products demanded extension of the conventional physical level modeling in the direction of higher abstraction during the past decade. The Laboratory of Intelligent Engineering Systems at the Óbuda University joined to these efforts and developed methods which are promising at definition and representation of organized driving knowledge for generation of elements, components, and features in requirements, functional, logical, and physical (RFLP) structured generic model of arbitrary engineering structure. This paper introduces new methods, as well as structures and representations to establish driving chains which provide new capabilities for connection of company intelligent property entities with generation processes of elements, components, and features using the new driving content structures.","PeriodicalId":443463,"journal":{"name":"2017 12th IEEE Conference on Industrial Electronics and Applications (ICIEA)","volume":"43 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116841085","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Our aim is to design a positive path tracking controller for a minimal model of tumor growth under angiogenic inhibition with bevacizumab treatment. We extend the dynamics of the system to ensure the positivity of the input, and design path tracking controller after exact linearization is carried out for the extended system. We carry out simulations for different reference signals for the path tracking controllers, and confirm that the tumor can be eliminated using bevacizumab therapy with physiologically feasible input signals. The resulting inputs are positive, and their maximal values are in physiologically feasible regions, thus the results may be applicable in clinical practice.","PeriodicalId":443463,"journal":{"name":"2017 12th IEEE Conference on Industrial Electronics and Applications (ICIEA)","volume":"29 5","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120811167","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The paper discusses current approaches and challenges in designing and implementing optimal control strategies for smart buildings over such networks. This targets also the modelling, controller design and evaluation stages as well as supporting hardware-software infrastructure for realistic adoption scenarios. Final goal is to achieve increased energy efficiency under user comfort constraints, while integrating various subsystems to operate together with both proprietary and open-source resources and tools. The proposed system architecture enables robust sensing, computing and actuation while accounting for future integration with higher level systems. These relate mainly to electrical smart grids over pervasive communication networks in future cities. Special consideration is given to allowing the collection of user feedback, incorporated into the control decision as means to accommodate the balance between operational and comfort constraints. A data-driven modeling case study is presented on measurements collected from a new building in our campus.","PeriodicalId":443463,"journal":{"name":"2017 12th IEEE Conference on Industrial Electronics and Applications (ICIEA)","volume":"74 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120979910","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The JRM2030 RFID reader module is used to locate and search books with electronic labels on the bookshelves. The system software is designed by using LABVIEW. And the book positioning system can search books by typing in the title of them, and get the distance between the tag and the reader referring to the strength of wireless signal. In this paper, the hardware and software of the system are designed in detail, and the experiment results are given. The results show that the system can quickly find the books that bookworms hid, and the books that are not timely put back on the shelves. The reader can also quickly find the books in the library. Therefore, to a certain extent, it can improve the efficiency of the staff in books management for library.","PeriodicalId":443463,"journal":{"name":"2017 12th IEEE Conference on Industrial Electronics and Applications (ICIEA)","volume":"84 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127191792","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The class of dc-dc converters with discrete-time bilinear averaged dynamic model is considered. An integral action on the output voltage is introduced for robust output regulation in case of model parameter uncertainties and external disturbances. An algorithmic method, using sum of squares programming, is introduced to calculate a candidate Lyapunov function, and the coefficients of P and PI controllers are calculated to guarantee a decrease in the Lyapunov function in each time step while input constraints are fulfilled. The controller design method is iterated in order to improve the region of convergence of the state trajectories. The resulting controller designs are evaluated through simulations of detailed switching models for a boost and a cuk converter.","PeriodicalId":443463,"journal":{"name":"2017 12th IEEE Conference on Industrial Electronics and Applications (ICIEA)","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126188862","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, building a complex Kinect camera distortion model is still a challenging issue. In this paper, a Dual Neural Networks for Kinect camera calibration method, according to the characteristics of Kinect camera and the imaging law of point moving along the different axis in the camera coordinate, is proposed. Firstly, IR image, instead of the depth image widely used in the existing calibration method of the Kinect camera, is used to reduce the effect of noise. Then, problem of the camera calibration is considered as nonlinear mapping from 2D image coordinates to the 3D world coordinates and two different neural networks is designed respectively to realize the nonlinear mapping. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed calibration method could provide a more reliable and accurate reconstruction results compared with popular joint calibration methods.","PeriodicalId":443463,"journal":{"name":"2017 12th IEEE Conference on Industrial Electronics and Applications (ICIEA)","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125259745","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Multimodal document means different modal multimedia data representing the same semantics. In this paper, the problem of multimodal document classification is studied. As the text features have more obvious advantages than the image features over the classification problem, on the basis of factor analysis, the paper proposes a supervised algorithm which projects image space into text space and then learns a linear classifier for classification in the text space. Encouraging experiment results on three benchmark datasets demonstrate the superiority and effectiveness of proposed methods over most existing algorithms.","PeriodicalId":443463,"journal":{"name":"2017 12th IEEE Conference on Industrial Electronics and Applications (ICIEA)","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125364830","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The theoretical calculation shows that the equivalent memductance of the 3T-MRs emulator can be flexibly controlled by imposing excitation voltage with different amplitude, frequency and duty cycle on the third terminal. For the purpose of testing the controllability and emulation performance of the proposed emulator, simulation investigation is carried out based on PSpice software. The simulation results show good agreement with theoretical analysis, which confirms that the memductance of this 3T-MRs emulator can be conveniently controlled and can be utilized for further investigating the dynamic behaviors of 3T-MRs.","PeriodicalId":443463,"journal":{"name":"2017 12th IEEE Conference on Industrial Electronics and Applications (ICIEA)","volume":"110 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122579140","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
