In order to prevent unacceptable voltage collapses and to reduce losses to ensure sufficient reactive power during normal and emergency conditions, voltage level at different points has been analyzed and determining those nodes which are allowing to exceed the permitted range or weak points in BPSN through simulation results. Handling this situation, the voltage and reactive power control in distribution system can be properly controlled by coordinating transformer tap changing and shunt capacitors. Simulation results show that by providing shunt capacitor among the buses to the collapse point results in improved voltage stability within positive consequence limit as an acceptable voltage level in the system.","PeriodicalId":443463,"journal":{"name":"2017 12th IEEE Conference on Industrial Electronics and Applications (ICIEA)","volume":"77 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131631490","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Image sentiment analysis has also attracted a lot of attention through recent years. It is apparent that these approaches, neither text sentiment nor image sentiment analyzes are by themselves sufficient to obtain an accurate performance. On the other hand, the combination of them has compounded the problem. Thus, this paper provides a way to utilize the strengths of these techniques to develop a sophisticated method, called Supervised Collective Matrix Factorization (SCMF). The visual feature and textual feature are represented by Alexnet deep learning network and Bag of Glove Vector (BoGV) respectively. The proposed approach takes label information into consideration during matrix factorization, which is inspired by the graph Laplacian work. Experiments have been performed on two datasets, automatically labeled and manually labeled datasets, to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach with other state-of-the-art methods.","PeriodicalId":443463,"journal":{"name":"2017 12th IEEE Conference on Industrial Electronics and Applications (ICIEA)","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131715892","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Last decade has several new techniques are used for electricity consumption forecasting to accurately predict the future demand. The considerable amount of electricity consumption modeling was efforts. This research approach to develop electricity models, statistical approach is a good to engineering approaches when observed and measured data is available. The statistical models, linear regression analysis has shown promising results because of the reasonable accuracy and relatively simple implementation which compared to other methods. In this study, artificial neural network and multiple linear regression analysis were performed data from Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand. In the models, gross electricity generation, installed capacity, gross domestic products (GDP) and population are used as independent variables using historical data from 1993 to 2015. Forecasting results are compared using MAPE and RMSE for the test period data. The results indicate electricity consumption model are accurate and minimum cost for electricity generation in Thailand.","PeriodicalId":443463,"journal":{"name":"2017 12th IEEE Conference on Industrial Electronics and Applications (ICIEA)","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125367179","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In order to enhance the estimation stability, we propose an iterative strategy. First, the CFO is estimated and then compensated in the channel estimate stage. And the control effect is not obvious. Based on the ”uniform model” of tire, this paper establishes the multiple degrees of freedom nonlinear dynamic model of 4WDEV using Matlab/Simulink software, analyzes the stability of vehicle control, accounting the saturation of the lateral force of the tire. And it is proved that the fluctuation of the longitudinal velocity of the vehicle and the acceleration of the steering failure are effectively suppressed by the control strategy of the lateral force saturation. The theoretical basis for the better implementation of the 4WDEV control stability control algorithm is provided.","PeriodicalId":443463,"journal":{"name":"2017 12th IEEE Conference on Industrial Electronics and Applications (ICIEA)","volume":"49 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126055170","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The DC microgrid consists of two sub-microgrids with different voltage levels through a power pool. A lithium battery pack is set as the energy backup of the power pool. Droop control is designed for the power pool to compensate the unbalanced power in the microgrid. The lithium battery pack is controlled by sampling the voltage of the power pool to avoid energy shortage of the power pool and smooth the current of the battery. The system is divided into nine operations region to coordinate the units in the sub-microgrid. Finally, simulation results show that the proposed control strategy can not only stabilize the DC bus voltages, but also realize low frequency power exchanges among the two sub-microgrids and the lithium battery pack. Furthermore, system loss could be reduced and the battery life can be prolonged.","PeriodicalId":443463,"journal":{"name":"2017 12th IEEE Conference on Industrial Electronics and Applications (ICIEA)","volume":"11 17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116674349","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, most commercial PEC service providers as well as researchers have investigated and claim functionality of sensors on homogeneous structural steels (steel grade Q235 for example). In this paper, we present design steps for a PEC sensing set-up to measure thickness of cast iron, which is unlike steel, is a highly inhomogeneous and non-linear ferromagnetic material. The setup includes a PEC sensor, sensor excitation and reception circuits, and a unique signal processing method. The signal processing method yields a signal feature which behaves as a function of thickness. The signal feature has a desirable characteristic of being lowly influenced by lift-off. Experimental results show that the set-up is usable for Non-destructive Evaluation (NDE) applications such as cast iron water pipe assessment.","PeriodicalId":443463,"journal":{"name":"2017 12th IEEE Conference on Industrial Electronics and Applications (ICIEA)","volume":"30 16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121378454","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There are two main parts proposed in this research. One is the Bootloader running on the MCU that works as flash programmer (self-programing). Another is computer software tool set running on development computer. The proposed software tool set composed of two executable command-line, called ”Compiler-Link” and ”Bootloader-Link”. These command-lines are used to link to a C-compiler and the Bootloader. They are design and implemented as IDE extension tools that can be integrated in favorite text editors of the programmers and can also be freely linked to any available short key. With the advantages of the proposed tools, the Bootloader and the IDE extension modules, the embedded programmers can develop and examine their firmware easier and faster compared to conventional methods.","PeriodicalId":443463,"journal":{"name":"2017 12th IEEE Conference on Industrial Electronics and Applications (ICIEA)","volume":"115 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121476207","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
