PT. Pipa Mas Putih plant Batam merupakan perusahaan produksi screen dan OCTG pipes . Perusahaan ini menyokong kebutuhan pipa untuk perusahaan oil & gas . Di dalam proses produksi Tubing 3 ½ “93.30 PFF, J-55, EU, 8-RD, R-2 sering mengalami kemunduran lead time akibat kurang optimalnya produktivitas produksi dan menyebabkan terjadinya idle time yang teridentifikasi di lapangan. Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui nilai selisih waktu total aktivitas aktual dan usulan setelah minimasi di dalam proses produksi produk OCTG dan mengidentifikasi pemborosan yang terjadi di PT. Pipa Mas Putih plant Batam. Hasil yang didapat: Banyaknya aktivitas produksi sebesar 38 aktvitas. Besar total waktu aktual sebesar 143,11 menit dan total waktu usulan sebesar 124,44 menit. Terjadi penurunan total waktu sebesar 18,67 menit. Pemborosan yang teridentifikasi mempunyai ranking tertinggi yaitu waiting, unnecessary motion, dan inappropriate processing . The standard of efficient or not for a power plant can be seen from the value of plant heat rate. Plant heat rate is amount of energy required to generate one kWh electricity. The smallest of that is the best power plant . In general, the value of plant heat rate has increased than commisioning test after the power plant operated continously . The method used in the calculation of the steam power plant is energy balance method. Energy balance calculation method used by the standard of the American Society of Engineers Mechanichal Performance Test Code (ASME PTC). The value of plant heat rate is influenced by the value of turbine heat rate and boiler efficiency from steam power plant . Turbine heat rate is the required energy turbines obtained from heat transfer process to generate one kWh electricity, while boiler efficiency is an indicator from boiler performance of steam power plant by comparing the outputs and inputs. After calculation of plant heat rate at actual condition, the value of plant heat rate has increased than commisioning. The increrase of plant heat rate value is due to more losses which result degradation performance on the main components of the unis, such as : turbine, boiler, air heater and condenser. Komarudin, Djoko Suprijatmono","doi":"10.54378/bt.v16i1.1730","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.54378/bt.v16i1.1730","url":null,"abstract":"As one of the MRO (Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul) company PT ABC had the significant problems in the last 3 years, including concerns regarding the difficulty of determining the amount of material availability and timing of procurement the material appropriate to support maintenance activities. In this case the components studied are two type brake of aircraft the first one is brake assembly and the second one is brake Goodrich which installed on B737-800 aircraft NG. Based on historical data, in last 3 years PT ABC have a number of component shortage that continues to grow, in last year PT ABC had 12 unit shortage component for brake assembly and 13 unit shortage component for brake goodrich. It is gave the negative impact for company and also customer PT ABC. To overcome these problems need to be analyzed how to determine the accuracy the number of brake requests that will removal in future periods which resulting the accuracy of the flight time (dispatch reliability/delay time). The proccess in this reserach first determine the life time of brake, determine the quantity of removal brake, schedule of removal brake, account the forecast of requirement brake in next years and determine the planning of material requirement for maintenance proccess. The forecasting using single exponential smoothing methode to determine forecasting result of brake requirement in 2017. This methode consider the smallest standar error estimate of forecasting demand to get the exact result. Morever MRP (material requirement planning) methode used to determine the procurement components planning (Petition Requirement Planning) with forecasting data from previous year's demand. Sedangkan untuk prioritas pengembangan komponen teknologi menunjukkan bahwa Technoware merupakan alternatif yang menjadi prioritas pertama dengan nilai pembobotan 0,3031, komponen yang menjadi prioritas kedua adalah Orgaware dengan nilai pembobotan 0,2968, kemudian yang menjadi prioritas ketiga adalah komponen Humanware dengan nilai pembobotan 0,2007 dan yang menjadi prioritas keempat adalah komponen Infoware dengan nilai pembobotan 0,1994. Nilai Consistency Ratio (CR) sebesar 0,00720 menunjukkan bahwa penentuan prioritas alternatif yang telah dilaksanakan sudah konsisten karena memiliki nilai CR ≤ 0,1. To solve the problem, an immediate action was made to replace the production tubing through a Hydrajetting cutting process which combining the abrasive fluid and high pressure pump application. The scope of subject were limited to process analyzing and calculation which happened during the production tubing cutting process. Analysis was done through fluid mechanic principle with the usage of the Energy Conservation Theory to get an accurate result of a successful Hydrajetting cutting process for production tubing. Analysis method was used to calculate all the data which includes fluid velocity, pressure, energy, and all the other related factors. The result of the calculation will be compared to the Hydrajetting recommendation standard. The research method used is the experimental method and carried out at the rotating speed (rpm) change, namely by turning on the engine and opening the gas 3000 rpm to full throttle. From testing the engine performance, it can be concluded that the greatest power is obtained by using the Aftermarket SGP RM 80 Ignition Coil with a power of a maximum of 6.83 hp at 6100 rpm engine speed. The biggest torque was also obtained by the Aftermarket SGP Ignition Coil RM 80 of 5.89 ft-lbs at 6100 rpm engine speed. From AFR testing, it can be concluded that the level of air and fuel ratio (AFR) produced by the aftermarket ignition coil is more fuel efficient based on the Stoichiometric graph. Using this aftermarket ignition coil starts from the AFR 17.66: 1 to 14.50: 1. Jenis cooling tower yang dipergunakan pada unit 3 PLTP PT.X adalah Induced draft cooling tower Oleh karena itu dalam sebuah sistem pendingin perlu adanya sebuah evaluasi kinerja dari sebuah alat pendingin, penelitian yang dilakukan adalah analisis terhadap perubahan pada sudut blade fan cooling tower terhadap performance cooling tower . Dalam data spesifikasi cooling tower sebelum dilakukan perubahan sudut , maka didapat range sebesar 19,07°C,  approach sebesar 11,3°C, dan efisiensi sebesar 69,4 %, evaporation loss sebesar 347,60 m³/jam, drift loss sebesar 630,78 m³/jam , windage loss sebesar 2.523,14 m³/jam, make up water sebesar 3.532,51 m³/jam. Hasil  analisis memperoleh range sebesar 19,10°C, approach sebesar 10,8°C, dan efisiensi sebesar 72,27%, evaporation loss sebesar 348,70 m³/jam, drift loss sebesar 580,20 m³/jam , windage loss sebesar 2.374,71 m³/jam, make up water sebesar 3.312,94m³/jam.
