The paperwork proposes to readers a comprehensive approach to the music terms “vocal virtuosity” and “bel canto” in connection with the tenor voice. I hope the results overcome the scientific barrier, and propose to the current generation of masculine singers real and applicable solutions to the problems of the bel canto repertoire, especially in understanding and solving the hardest virtuosity passages.","PeriodicalId":440876,"journal":{"name":"Bulletin of the Transilvania University of Braşov. This study aims to carry out thorough research on the origins of performance anxiety, referring to musicians affected by MPA (musical performance anxiety) since adolescence and even childhood. Moreover, the most useful methods of mitigating and combating this phenomenon will be presented, from relaxation techniques, music therapy, and the use of specific medication. To succeed in overcoming MPA, which can often block the musician, there is a necessity to explore theoretical explanations for the appearance and development of performance anxiety and the profile of the individuals most exposed to MPA. There is no specific age, experience, or mindset that can be attributed to this obstacle. In the absence of a pattern, there is a need for continuous research, comparative analysis of individuals, and the permanent consolidation of methods to improve the overcoming of performance anxiety.","PeriodicalId":440876,"journal":{"name":"Bulletin of the Transilvania University of Braşov. Factories, interpreters, and musicologists have played a key role in this evolution. Although its appearance is associated with the year 1829 by Cyrill Demian (Austria), according to various literature on the subject, the origin of the accordion is often associated with the predecessor instruments of the organ, given the reed system used by both. At the same time, other ancient instruments that used free reeds or that made use of bellows as a sound-activating agent, also inspired the successive improvements introduced in the accordion as we know it today.","PeriodicalId":440876,"journal":{"name":"Bulletin of the Transilvania University of Braşov. This paper approaches an interdisciplinary approach to a current subject in cognitive psychology, examined by specialists from diverse fields: cognitive psychologists, neurologists, philologists, musicologists, etc. Nevertheless, the diverse manifestations of synaesthesia and its phenomenological nature have posed challenges in verifying and studying its origins and mechanisms. This article adopts a medical standpoint in its examination of synesthesia, with a particular focus on its evolutionary trends and its influence within the domain of musical tasks.","PeriodicalId":440876,"journal":{"name":"Bulletin of the Transilvania University of Braşov. The musical environment is the human environment, which not only shapes a person's musical interests and needs but also changes itself under the influence of people. The change in the musical environment is also due to the intensive development of the modern quality management system, as well as the properties of music as an art form. Early modernity conceptualized its musical past in ways that are radically different from what we have come to know today through the prism of the concept of the musical work. The present study will suggest that certain aspects of early modern music historiography are best understood in light of the important role of genealogy in the early modern era. Three aspects of genealogical discourse will be singled out: the identification of origin and descent, the concern for the unbroken lineage, and the closing off of alternative genealogies. The study will focus on how these features of genealogical discourse manifest themselves in one of the pioneering works of music history written at the end of the 17th century, W. C. Printz’s Historische Beschreibung der Edelen Sing- und Kling-Kunst published in 1690.","PeriodicalId":440876,"journal":{"name":"Bulletin of the Transilvania University of Braşov. Aware or not, the composers personify in their art archetypal structures which are general and embody the ideals of their expression in one way or another. The organization of musical forms constitutes no exception from this phenomenon which has never been investigated in Romanian musicology: the compatibility between physical and mathematical concepts and significant musical realities. Among the great musical genres and forms, the theme and variations are the closest to one of the elements present in the mathematics of the 20th century: the logic of fuzzy sets (or systems).","PeriodicalId":440876,"journal":{"name":"Bulletin of the Transilvania University of Braşov. He graduated from the composition class at the Tallinn Conservatory, having Heino Eller as a professor. The basis of tintinnabuli compositional style, as Paul Hillier (Paul Hillier – Arvo Pärt, New York, Oxford University Press 1997, 96) describes, is a two-part texture consisting of a ‘melodic’ voice, moving mostly gradually, from or towards a central pitch and a ‘tintinnabuli’ voice sounding the notes of the tonic triad. The transition of Arvo Part towards his re-affirmation as a composer has a component of personal development in the field of spirituality and religion. In the year around 1971, he met his second wife, Nora, who catalyzed his renunciation of the Lutheran confession in favor of the Christian Orthodox religion. In an interview, Jamie McCarthy (McCarthy, Jamie An Interview with Arvo Pärt, Musical Times 130, March 1989) asks him about his feelings regarding a possible influence of the Russian Orthodox religion upon his work. Pärt answers: “Religion influences everything. Not just music, but everything”.","PeriodicalId":440876,"journal":{"name":"Bulletin of the Transilvania University of Braşov.
