Though the comparative Indo-European Studies restores the diphthong \u0000Վէմ համահայկական հանդես, ԺԵ (ԻԱ) տարի, թիվ 2 (82), ապրիլ-հունիս, 2023\u0000in the IE base language, the Armenian էի (Ɲi) does not reflect either this or any\u0000other IE diphthong. As a matter of fact, it comes to represent the IE pattern of the\u0000verb stem *-oi (> է) +*-i (-ի) ending. The other diphthongs also display a varied\u0000origin. Two of them - էա (Ɲa) and իե (ie)- are the results of word forming\u0000processes observed within the Armenian language, though certain Greek\u0000borrowings also contain examples with this phonemic sequence. Harutyunyan","doi":"10.57192/18291864-2023.1-148","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.57192/18291864-2023.1-148","url":null,"abstract":"Numerous evidences about weather anomalies and climate changes, especially intense heat, water scarcity, seed drying, locust and larva activation, as well as about drought have been preserved in colophons of the Armenian manuscripts, chronicles, as well as in ethnographic materials and folklore, which are reflected in epigraphic monuments too. In fact, in order to prevent drought people often performed the rain-related and hay land rituals, erected monuments, sacrificed animals etc. Usually, the drought was accompanied by shortage of bread, famine and epidemics. It indicates unity of communicative intentions which are always intentional and the public speaker has three primary goals when delivering his message: to inform, trigger and arouse an emotional response and to persuade his audience. Hence, the discourse analysis cannot operate solely within a linguistic and discursive framework and must draw upon methods, frameworks of other disciplines to analyze adequately its object of study. It is multidisciplinary as it brings together multiple disciplines to investigate socio-political issues and phenomena pertinent to various areas of scholarship. It determined the forms of transition of the\u0000social behavior of citizens from ancient religious algorithmic rituals to\u0000creative theatricality. Both poles comprised various aspects of human life -\u0000private and public, political and psychological, legal and religious. However,\u0000transitivity was not exhaustive: the poles, although modified, persisted for a\u0000long time. This made the Athenian community multi-dimensional, which was\u0000quite evident in the landscape of the city. We decided to overcome the usual\u0000formality of the architecture of the City, highlighting its metaphysical features\u0000on the background of political philosophy and mathematics, moral theory, and\u0000aesthetics. With that letter they informed the Republic of Armenia that it was \"strictly forbidden\" to carry out any advertising of a political nature, even if it was done in the form of art and culture. It is not difficult to guess who provoked the organizers of the event to come up with such an absurd warning.
