Lack of maximum leadership, low organizational commitment, and organizational culture have had an impact on the implementation of an internal quality assurance system. This study intends to examine whether there is a direct or indirect effect of leadership and organizational commitment on the implementation of an internal quality assurance system mediated by organizational culture in state universities. Methodology/Approach: This research uses quantitative methods with a path analysis design. Each value of the effect of exogenous and endogenous variables is tested and analyzed descriptively and path analysis to show the contribution made by each variable studied. Data were collected through a questionnaire with a sample of 221 from a population of 340 populations spread across three state universities in Ambon city, Maluku province, Indonesia. Originality/Relevance: Organizational culture plays an important role to mediate and contribute to the leadership and organizational commitment to create situations and encourage the participation of all elements in the application of the internal quality assurance system in higher education.  Main results: The quality of higher education is determined by many factors, but by increasing the role, performance, competence, and leadership style and supported by organizational commitment in an affective, normative, and sustainable manner, the organizational culture becomes one of the frameworks for every university to improve quality and competitiveness in a planned manner. and continuous. The second objective is to analyze, by size and sector, which are the most relevant variables considered by the owners or managers in their e-Readiness (ER). Methodology/approach: With a sample of 182 MSMEs, a quantitative, descriptive, correlational, discriminant and linear regression analysis was performed, using the Ordinary Least Squares Method (OLS). Originality/Relevance: The study is relevant because it addresses the influence of human capital empowerment, e-Readiness and access to ICTs by companies in the ER of MSMEs, deepening the analysis by sector, industry, trade and services, and by size of micro, small and medium enterprises. Main results: It was determined that all the independent variables are relevant to explain eRLMSMEs. By size, the Human Capital e-Readiness, ICT Accessibility, and Human Capital Empowerment variables are significant only for small enterprises, whereas ER of human capital substantially influences industries, commercial and service companies. Theoretical/methodological contributions: This research goes deeper into the variables that influence the degree of e-Readiness on MSMEs in Mexico, considering the influence of the size and sector in their technological preparation. Methodology/Approach: An exploratory qualitative research was conducted through documentary analysis, non-participant observation, and in-depth interviews with actors from two Brazilian ecosystems in different stages of development: 4th District (emerging) and Porto Digital (growth). Originality/Relevance: Innovation ecosystems can be understood as a set of resources that foster innovation. Current research suggests that even more important than resources is the articulation among them and the way they are orchestrated. Main Results: It was found that resource pooling characterizes the transition moment from the emergency stage to the growth stage. Theoretical/ Methodological Contribution: A direct relationship between resource orchestration and the stage of ecosystem development was identified. Method: A non experimental study that comprehends descriptive and bibliometric analysis was used, along with the implementation of technology watch procedure to support the strategy. Originality/Relevance: Technology watch along with strategic intelligence are acknowledged to be key tools in innovation processes as well as in strengthening National Science Technology and Innovation Systems (Guagliano, Villanueva, Perez and Sanchez Rico, 2019); its use has spread to numerous public and private companies, government agencies, consulting institutions, universities and research centers which are being interested in anticipating the continous and emerging challenges from the changing environment and hence making proper strategic decisions (Guagliano, Massaro and Rodriguez Bianchi, 2015); particularly in health care its applications are extended to technology assessment, care services improvement and academic research capacity planning and strengthening (Carrillo Zambrano, Paez Leal, Suarez and Luna-Gonzalez, 2018). Specifically, Research, Quality and Innovation management at a local health system in Cuba, needs to generate high value-added information and knowledge to enhance performance and accurate decision making. Results: Here we show how the development of technology watch enhance and support the formulation of research, development and innovation projects; and standardization of healthcare services and processes, which were selected as relevant variables in a previous prospective study. Social / management contributions: The results are aligned with the Cuban healthcare strategic goals, for among its current demands, it prioritizes the generation of high-impact scientific and innovative results, as well as the development of a quality strategy that portrays, among its core objectives, health services continuous improvement, based on developing standards, Clinical Practice Guidelines and therapeutic protocols. Methodology/Approach: Data were extracted from secondary sources in the literature. In the field, the universe was of 1.700 industrial companies, 15.112 of service delivery companies, 16 hospitals and 03 universities, with stratified random samples and for accessibility. The data received statistical treatment: descriptive analysis, levene test of homogeneity of variances and variance analysis, correlation test, regression, and multiple correlation. Originality/Relevance: Integrated sustainability administration model, as a management technology, emerges as an innovation alternative for private and public organizations, which, together with the dimensions and components of technological capacity, expands the perspectives of organizational development and market competitiveness. Main results: In the empirical analysis, it suggests that innovation and management technologies combined with the competent dimensions of technological capacity, favor organizational development, the success and perennity of micro and small industrial and service delivery companies, and organizational excellence in public organizations. Theoretical/methodological contributions: This study contributes to literature of innovation field, management technologies, dimensions, and components of technological capacity to academia. Journals also usually receive work outside their scope. It motivated us to write this editorial comment. We aim to help the authors better understand the scope of the IJI and understand what we expect from the submitted works. Our concern is related to the format and the elements necessary for each type of work. In addition to the authors, the reviewers can also consult this editorial comment to guide their evaluations.The predominant field of IJI is innovation with a focus on emerging markets. Within innovation, the themes of interest to the journal are: Innovative Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Learning, Innovation and Sustainability, Internationalization of Innovation, Innovation Systems, Emerging Themes of Innovation and Digital Transformation. As scope, the IJI brings: Scientific research, theoretical essays, and reviews that advance the understanding and variety of innovation, improve its efficiency and critical approaches. We prioritize the development of new challenging theories, clarify existing theories, and identify new theoretical issues. Example: Systematic reviews, Bibliometrics, Theoretical essays, Reviews, among others.Empirical investigations or applied tests that, based on theories or references formulated, show state of the art and practical application in innovation; priority is given to unpublished technological contributions and their importance for studies in the area. This article has three research questions: 1. What are the methodological approaches adopted to investigate research problems on KM in SC. 2. What are the research topics investigated on KM in SC? and 3. How is research on KM characterized in SC? Relevance/originality: This research analyzes how KM is associated with SC initiatives and proposes a research agenda on KM in SC. Methodology/approach: The method used was a semi-systematic literature review. Main results: The research found gaps concerning the adaptation of KM models in the context of SC, the selection of relevant variables for the analysis of KM in SC, the effect of KM on the results of SC initiatives, and how actions emerging issues of transparency and governance can influence or be influenced by KM. Theoretical/methodological contributions: The article builds an overview of the collaboration of two fields in evidence today. In addition to the analysis of all articles in the sample, which includes quantitative data, the authors bring a proposed research agenda with the aim of promoting the maturation of the theme. The main theoretical contributions are in the proposal of the prescriptive framework and the research agenda. Social/management contributions: In a context of excess knowledge, decision-making becomes complex. Methodology/approach: It is a literature review, based on the Scopus database, relating the constructs corporate governance and innovation, generating 435 documents in total, using 253 documents imported into the Mendeley application and resulting in 26 documents with effective contributions on governance and innovation.Originality/relevance: The study differs in that it relates corporate governance to the innovation of organizations.Main results: The results show that corporate governance has a positive influence on the innovation of organizations, but it is necessary to adapt to the context of each organization and the innovation characteristics of the sector. Main Results: SEED is effective in its role as the main startup acceleration program in Brazil, maintained by public funds. Greater investment, improvement in the choice of mentors and accelerators with more practical capacity and experience in innovation and entrepreneurship, and creation of an official mechanism that maintains relations with former participants can raise SEED to a global scale.Theoretical/Methodological Contributions: Academic relevance due to the novelty of the approach and scope of the research, and because it is a current theme that has been consolidated in the universe of entrepreneurship and innovation.Social/Management Contributions: Management relevance for validating results achieved by SEED, generating profits for startups when reaching their maturity. SPSS 25 and SPSS AMOS programs were used incrementally, and the acquired data were evaluated and analyzed.Originality/Relevance: In this research, white-collar workers constituted our sampling group because they play a key role in product innovation. While gathering the analysis data, the first 500 companies registered in Istanbul Chamber of Industry were determined, and manufacturing companies operating in Istanbul constituted the main part of the study.Main Results: As a result of the analysis, it is understood that diversity management and charismatic leadership have a positive influence on innovation and performance.Theoretical/Methodological Contribution: In terms of innovation and company performance, the study revealed the mediation effect of charismatic leadership linked to diversity management.Social/management contributions: In order for organizations to carry out creative and innovative activities, it is very important to effectively manage different ideas and thoughts within organizations. In fact, charismatic leadership positively affects employees, helping them to perform better.
