The relationships between the environment and social development are enduring and complicated in the history of human. In recent years, environmental problems have been a not inconsiderable issue in China. And among them, air pollution is a very important representative environmental issue. It can harm people's respiratory systems. Therefore, it is an urgent and important problem for the quality of life of the public. The study is divided into four parts. First, a literature review is conducted to summarize the basic situation of relevant studies and their characteristics. Secondly, conduct a content analysis. The conceptual map of the informative frames is established to present how Chinese print press cover the topic of air pollution to the public. Thirdly, a study of citizen opinions and social cognition of smog is realized to investigate consequences of cultivation through long-term exposure to journalistic representations of smog in China. Last but not the least, conduct an experimental study under laboratory control with real journalistic contents to look for the causal relationships of the news inference processes about smog.","PeriodicalId":430095,"journal":{"name":"Eighth International Conference on Technological Ecosystems for Enhancing Multiculturality","volume":"130 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130533880","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Information and Communication Technologies have been applied in educational processes in the last 20 years as a new way to support teaching and learning. In fact, these technologies make possible facilitating even disciplines that have a very important face to face and tangible component as is lab work. However, this require moving the lab technologies into simulators and emulators to any kind of student environment, arising different problems of compatibility and performance associated to final user computer specs. In order to overcome these problems, SUFFER is defined. It allows a flexible and easy definition of different labs, in what could be understood as a lab as a service approach based on cloud computing technologies. Moreover, making possible the collaboration between students and with the teachers during the lab activities. In order to do so SUFFER The simulator is being applied successfully in several courses and also in other contexts such as RoboSTEAM project.","PeriodicalId":430095,"journal":{"name":"Eighth International Conference on Technological Ecosystems for Enhancing Multiculturality","volume":"66 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128934438","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is intended that the solution provided supports the design of gamified experiences that consider issues such as gender, age, ethical values, or disabilities. The interest in developing a design toolkit comes from the lack of tools that help design gamified technologies and experiences with an inclusive approach. There is a growing trend of inclusion at different levels and the exploration of new ways of digital entertainment for those who have not been considered until now, such as seniors. Using tools such as this proposal, the products and services generated may have a greater scope by developing new forms of interaction for people with cultural differences or physical characteristics. For their part, designers will consider a broader target population, and it would save time and/or costs by having this design support guide.","PeriodicalId":430095,"journal":{"name":"Eighth International Conference on Technological Ecosystems for Enhancing Multiculturality","volume":"51 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132857569","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Either because of natural disasters or human-made catastrophes, we learn to live with this type of events, unfortunately. In this context, Education usually takes a toll. Learners, teachers, university professors, parents and academic managers need to get up-to-speed in order to adapt their regular flow and methodology to a different mindset and to an adapted skillset. They migrate or re-enforce the ability to teach, learn and manage into an online or blended setting. Open Education, Open Science and Open Innovation become now a useful, if not the most powerful, approach to overcome the obstacle of unexpected and unwanted scenarios. Thanks to an open approach every member of the educational community can use, create, edit and share content, policies, access, technology and long list of benefits, including large amounts of data.
