In the vehicle repair process, waste was found in the form of defect. The percentage of defect occurring from January to March 2020 shows an average of 85.22%. This study aims to identify critical waste defect and determine the factors that cause critical waste defect to occur and provide recommendations for improvements in order to reduce the waste that occurs in the area of body repair & paint. Efforts to reduce waste defects are carried out with a lean manufacturing approach. The research was carried out in three stages. The first stage begins with conducting a field study to identify problems. In the second stage, defect data is collected, which will be processed using Pareto diagrams so that the type of defect occurs most frequently. Furthermore, in the third stage, data processing begins with the identification of 9 wastes. Then identify the factors that cause waste using the fishbone diagram and the 5W + 1H method. Furthermore, the selected critical waste is processed using FMEA to identify systems that have a risk of failure which is indicated by the number of RPNs from the value rating of severity, occurrence, and detection. Based on the highest number of RPNs occurred in the polishing and reassying sub-area of 210. Proposals for improvement were a box, poka-yoke, and Kamishibai designs. This paper used correlation analysis approach to gather information from respondents. This study used a set of questionnaire to measure variables used in this study. Hypotheses were tested using non-parametric statistical methods to determine whether there is a relationship between socioeconomic family and interest in entrepreneurship in the field of beauty. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between socioeconomic family and interest in entrepreneurship with a moderate closure relationship of 0.371. Each variable in the results of data processing have a significant result in the interest of entrepreneurship with the result shown 27 (90%), and the socio-economic sector that has the largest entrepreneurial interest in income of 1 million-2.5 million (IDR) by 10 (33.3%). The results in the study of socioeconomic relations and interest in entrepreneurship were attracted by 15 (50%) and very interested in 12 (40%). This study has a significant result between socio-economic families with interest in entrepreneurship by reaching 90% of respondents surveyed turned out to have an interest in entrepreneurship. However, due to the needs of the society, a reservoir also serves other purposes such as water supply and recreation. Therefore, reservoir water storage should be maintained to satisfy water usage,and at the same time,the water needsto be released to reserve space forincoming water. This conflict causesproblemsto reservoir operatorswhen making the water release decision. In this paper, a forecasting model wasproposed to forecast the flood stage of a reservoir based on the upstream rainfall pattern. This model couldbe used by reservoir operatorsin the early decision-makingstageofreleasingwater before the reservoir reaches its maximum capacity. Simultaneously,the reservoir water level could be maintainedfor other uses. Lean tacit knowledge is very significant in ensuring the success of lean management implementation, yet the SMEs often found difficulties due to limited capital and resources. A single case study of Malaysian SME in the automotive industry was selected for this purpose. Results show that lean training, problem solving using case study, factory visit, sharing of lean database and online learning are the common approaches used by the studied company in developing the lean tacit knowledge. Moreover, the accomplishment of this knowledge transfer in lean management necessitatesstrong commitment from the employees and the top management support. The concept of service at Spa refers to excellent service to foster trust in customers. Excellent service must be supported by quality human resources that are reliable, have a vision that is far ahead and can develop strategies and tips for excellent service that has excellence.The Javanese Massage method applies a combination of several body treatments that originate from cultural and technological traditions, with Javanese sorting methods. It is beneficial for the muscles and can be effective in blood circulation, relieving muscle tension, stimulating the rhythmic nerves to achieve a sedative effect, stimulating and calming. Malaysia, as a developing country, is moving towards to become internationally technological based manufacturing sectors using technological capabilities. Since the productivity of the organization is highly dependent on the technology capability, managers need to do their best to communicate effectively with their employees in order to facilitate the sharing information that substantially for contribute to the commercial success. Communication is important in connecting employees and employers, or employees and customers in the process of services in manufacturing. Due to an increase in global competition, rapid technological development and changes in customer demand, this makes the performance of food and beverage firms (F&B) has become increasingly dependent on continuous improvements to introduce new products and processes. Therefore, this study interested to focus on the information technology and corporate communication that has been considered as a pre-quisite to improve productivity in food industries. Even though technology is widely implemented and studied in many industries by researchers, IT capability in manufacturing industry is limited and indicated a major gap in SME’s. Furthermore, IT capability highlights the importance in SME’s. This study is a survey research and quantitative research. There are two methods for collecting data that are through an online survey and the distribution of a questionnaire through several manufacturing firms. Due to the importance of the services in the manufacturing sector, this study to explore the contribution towards the business development in manufacturing industries. This study aims to examine the students’ abilities in terms of cognitive, affective and psychomotor in supporting the competency needs in the bakery industry. This research tested the abilitiesrequired by the students during industrial training at the bakery stores. This research was conducted at four different bakeries in the area of Yogyakarta within May to July 2019. A total of 90 students participated in the survey. The findings show that apsychomotor ability is the highest skill needed in the bakery industry with 84%, followed by affective (81%) and cognitive (75.3%). This implies that psychomotor ability is the prominent domain in the bakery industry where it involves physical movement, coordination, and the use of motor-skills. This research is a type of development research by adapting the Tessmer development model. This research was carried out in two stages, namely the preliminary stage, starting from the preparation and design, then the evaluation stage, which included self-evaluation, prototype making, small groups, and field tests. This research is limited to making prototypes. Thesubjects of this study were grade IX students of SMP Negeri 3 Depok, Indonesia. Data collection instruments consist of a collection of observations, interview guidelines, documentation sheets, and questionnaires. Data were analyzed with qualitative and quantitative techniques. The results showed that the design of the type of PISA that had been developed was declared valid; it could be used in the development of small groups and field tests.
