To understand the concept of eco-friendly we have first to understand the history of energy exploitation by human being. This review paper emphasize on the transition of energy source exploitation running thru early renaissance until the modern era we are in now. Internal Combustion Engine has served the world since early 20th century driving us into the new millennial that is the 21th century. The depletion of oil reserve indicate a utmost important for us to source for a new energy that we can exploit in abundant yet causes minimal effect to the environment. This review paper also brings in the concept of mature technology and how it can actually be a good thing that push us into innovating and creating new technology to be capable in adopting new ways in ensuring sustainability of humans by means of sustaining the technology.","PeriodicalId":429639,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Technology and Operations Management","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122710843","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We have been living in an ever interconnected and changing globalized world. Therefore, climate change, migration, international terrorism, financial meltdowns, poverty, injustices, and inequalities challenge and threaten the global community as a whole. If we want generations to come with new solutions and alternatives to solve these challenges, we must prepare them with critical thinking skills. It will suggest that the Qur'an and Sunnah of the Prophet were sources and driving forces of critical spirit in the classical Muslim legacy and kindled spirit of burning for learning. Therefore, this paper will attempt to define major concepts first and then delineate the significant features of critical and creative thinking in al-Ghazali's exemplary life and teachings.","PeriodicalId":429639,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Technology and Operations Management","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127033571","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The results of this study indicate that there are 21% of medicines or 22 types of medicines belonging to group A with the use of 74.64%. for group B there were 25% drugs or 28 types of drugs with a budget use of 15.31% of all medicines. Meanwhile, there are 55% of medicines or 60 types of medicines belonging to group C with the use of a budget of 10.05% of the total medicines and the calculation using the EOQ method by considering the expiration period and product returns in this research has a more optimal order size compared to the previous method so that it can minimize expired medicines and estimate which medicines will expire at the end of the cycle so that the total cost of supplies at the pharmacy is more optimal.","PeriodicalId":429639,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Technology and Operations Management","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125057992","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The significant importance in order to recognize the potential to improve industry product quality inspection and encourage the waste of timing machines and product rejection. Open Computer Vision (Open CV) offers a smart, non-contact measurement and cost-effective technique to fulfil the requirements. The framework depends on the new technique of Open CV, which includes two parts: an intelligent selection of work-piece capturing the image for a particular inspection of the planar interfaces such as the hole, rectangular, pocket one, and the symmetric lighting model comparison approach for measurement of defects in the matched images. The contribution of this study is to build a structure in the computer vision method with a convolution neural network that predicts the classification of the feature for better accuracy and emphasizes the significant characteristics of the image processing technique coupled with experimental data on demanding image datasets and quality inspection measures.","PeriodicalId":429639,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Technology and Operations Management","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127002327","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The tragedy of chemical waste disposal in the Kim Kim river has resulted in air pollution in the surrounding area. Therefore, this innovation has been developed to produce a mobile device that has a low cost, detection of the gas in real-time, and overcome the problems faced due to chemical waste pollution such as shortness of breath, nausea, and vomiting. Portable air quality detection is an innovation used to detected and measured the connections between software and hardware that are required for analysis purposes. The outputs detected are carbon dioxide, benzene, alcohol, ammonia, nitrogen oxide, and smoke. Data analysis was done by making a comparison between the output values in LCD and Favoriot and Blynk. This project also can measure the value of temperature and humidity. The sensor used to detect gas readings is MQ135 gas sensor and for temperature and humidity sensor is DHT22 sensor. The value of gas, temperature, and humidity in the environment will be displayed on the website as well as on the phone applications. This innovation used two types of platforms to display the data, Favoriot in website platform and Blynk used on smartphones. In addition, this value will be recorded and stored on the website for future use by the users. The users will also be able to compare readings before and after to ensure that the air in the environment is in good condition. In addition, this project can warn users if the reading is at danger level. The buzzer will sound and users will be notified by email. For future recommendations, the A3OZ sensor can be used to achieve high precision values for O3 and NO2 readings with a detection range of 0-10 ppm and detection accuracy of 20 ppb","PeriodicalId":429639,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Technology and Operations Management","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123446143","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
