The detailed design of the parts and the complete modeling of all the devices and wiring are shown based on the needs and challenges of the mentioned applications, such as the difficulty of moving in different terrains types, humidity, among other variables. The digital prototype also considers the use of various types of cameras to determine plant health and monitor the actual path in the vineyards. It is an important issue that affects everyone and should be studied to take actions that help mitigate the risk. This research’s main objective is to explore air quality from 2010 to 2018 in metropolitan zones of Guadalajara, Monterrey, and the Valley of Mexico. Air quality is analyzed based on the concentrations of criteria pollutants: carbon monoxide (CO), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), ozone (O3), particulate matter less than or equal to 2.5 micrometers (PM2.5), particulate matter less than or equal to 10 micrometers (PM10), and sulfur dioxide (SO2). In this paper, six stages are proposed:1) data collection; 2) data cleansing; 3) descriptive analysis. 4) design of cluster analysis models and main components; 5) application of machine learning models; 6) interpretation and analysis of results. This study has concluded that higher mean hourly concentrations for pollutants, CO, NO2, O3, PM2.5, and SO2 were found in Guadalajara Metropolitan Zone. In contrast, the highest mean hourly concentration of PM10 was found in the Monterrey Metropolitan Zone. Furthermore, the pollutant with the highest effect in the three critical zones was PM2.5, presenting high concentrations with hazardous air quality levels. Finally, the area with the worst air quality was Guadalajara Metropolitan Zone.","PeriodicalId":427104,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE International Conference on Engineering Veracruz (ICEV)","volume":"102 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123505636","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

When a motor is oversized, it operates at load values of a fraction of its rated capacity. It is known that in the most industrialized countries, engines operate at efficiencies even lower than 40% due to oversizing. For this research work, energy consumed by a low capacity three-phase squirrel cage induction motor was measured at low load regimes, varying the supply voltage to simulate the typical behavior of a distribution network. The results show that for a lower supply voltage, the energy consumption is reduced. However, under these operating conditions, there is an alteration in reactive power consumption affecting the motor power factor.","PeriodicalId":427104,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE International Conference on Engineering Veracruz (ICEV)","volume":"53 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126059024","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The basis of the chaotic system is the Shilnikov criterion. For the first time in literature and which is the first contribution, this investigation shows the synchronization of two of the chaotic spherical systems in a master-slave topology using Hamiltonian forms and observer approach. As a second contribution, the article demonstrates further the implementation of a secure communication system using the synchronized master-slave system. To verify the secure communication system, the transmission system uses states x1, x2, and x3 as transmission variables to send and receive grayscale and RGB images. The performance analyses of the results, which examine the security and reliability which the transmission system, show that the system is very effective, robust against exhaustive attack, and removes relativity between the original and encrypted images with correlation coefficient very close to zero. Variables x1 and x3 give the best result in transmission of the grayscale and RGB images, respectively, based on the correlation coefficient between the original and encrypted images.","PeriodicalId":427104,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE International Conference on Engineering Veracruz (ICEV)","volume":"74 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127635471","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

If they do not incorporate any compensation strategy, their stability and performance can be considerably affected as a consequence of time delays in the communication channel. In this work, teleoperation architectures are proposed under the wave variables approach to be applied to a bilateral one degree of freedom teleoperation system that uses a BLDC motor as an actuator, to mitigate the harmful effect of time delays. Architectures that exchange velocity, torque and current as a control signal are evaluated by simulation. Some of these VOC can cause respiratory diseases such as asthma, irritate eyes and causes allergies. In this paper we presented the design and implementation of an unmanned mobile device for detection of VOC leaks. The proposed system has an emitter and a receiver. The transmitter has two systems embedded in a two 8-bit microcontroller, one for the control and decision making of a robot, which is equipped with proximity and line following sensors. The second embedded system is used for VOC monitoring, through commercial gas sensors, which have a detection range of 10 to 1000 parts per million (ppm.) In addition, in this embedded system the monitoring of the battery lifetime and the distance traveled by the robot is carried out, the information is processed and sent through a bidirectional radiofrequency antenna (Nrf24L01). The receiver has a system embedded in a microcontroller and a bidirectional Nrf24L01, the data is received and sent to a personal computer through the serial port. The data is processed, stored and presented with the help of a graphical user interface. This shows the status of the two robot motors, the battery charge, the operating time and the distance traveled. Also, the status of the gas sensors is observed, if one of them detects the presence of a gas, it is stored in the register and activates an alarm to complete the detection of one.","PeriodicalId":427104,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE International Conference on Engineering Veracruz (ICEV)","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125774866","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
