Currently, this process is carried out through a paper format, which the doctor must elaborate for each patient requiring to be referred to a second level Health Center. The physical copy of the reference form must be taken personally by the patient to the Archive Department of the General Hospital of Ensenada. This process requires the patient to wait there to be assigned the medical appointment with a specialist, which always results in the need to come back another date and time. This proposal applies Process Re-engineering to analyze the current process and redesign it. Information Technologies are used as change enablers, specifically, the development of a prototype web system. With this prototype, the new process for referring patients from the first level to the second level of care is automated. This new process simplifies the steps and reduces the effort from the patient to make his transition from the Health Center to the Ensenada General Hospital to schedule his second level appointment.","PeriodicalId":427104,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE International Conference on Engineering Veracruz (ICEV)","volume":"45 1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134396151","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The designed OTA is made up of a two-stage amplifier that is stabilized using an indirect Miller compensation capacitor while a Class-AB modification used to enhance the slew rate of the overall amplifier. Self-cascode composite transistor were used to improve the amplifier DC gain. The designed OTA presents a DC gain, bandwidth, gain-bandwidth product, and phase margin of 79.6 dB, 79 Hz, 655 kHz, and 42°, respectively. Also, this OTA exhibits a slew rate of 0.371 V/μs, a power consumption of 1.32 μW, and a silicon area of 170.7 μm x 191.25 μm. A 0.50μm CMOS standard technology was used for simulation and layout purposes.","PeriodicalId":427104,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE International Conference on Engineering Veracruz (ICEV)","volume":"62 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133273375","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We use the immersive technology to facilitate the learning of how to create molecules of chemical compounds. Practical activities with the virtual reality application called Nanome were implemented. This educational technology seeks, through the sensation of immersion, to transmit knowledge to the student by perceiving a virtual organic chemistry laboratory. Nanome is a nanoscale immersion laboratory for virtual reality. A fully immersive virtual reality system, Oculus Rift, was used with the Nanome application to visualize molecules, edit configurations, and simulate molecular bondsThe results show that virtual reality technology was well accepted by students as a learning tool. Skills and knowledge are acquired by learning by doing in a totally immersive environment. Complex subjects to understand in a conventional classroom were taught in a practical and entertaining way. Immersive virtual reality technology has enormous potential as a chemistry teaching tool.","PeriodicalId":427104,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE International Conference on Engineering Veracruz (ICEV)","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121162126","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Populous places like these located in the Ventanilla district (Callao), are not alien to conditions, living in unacceptable situations due to climatic factors, combined with extreme poverty and little access to communication networks; That is why it has been proposed to implement a meteorological station by incorporating wireless communication modules to establish the transmission and reception of climatic parameters. In this way, the information obtained can be sent to a center that allows its dissemination through social networks. The parameters that have been established are temperature, relative humidity, and atmospheric pressure; With this, it is sought, through local entities, to generate a culture of prevention and awareness in favor of the mentioned human settlement and, a posteriori, to be able to implement a meteorological network capable of obtaining data in real-time for the entire Constitutional Province of Callao.","PeriodicalId":427104,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE International Conference on Engineering Veracruz (ICEV)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120937698","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
