It was necessary to find new ways and new alternatives to classical teaching methods. This paper presents the proposal made by the Faculty of Engineering of the Catholic University of Cordoba (UCC) for the continuity of practical laboratory work in the teaching of Physics. To this end, the data obtained from a survey of university students at the end of the academic year 2020 are analyzed. The survey covers first-year students, as well as students from higher education who took Physics I under the classroom modality. It should be noted that the number of students in the Faculty of Engineering of the UCC is very small to obtain conclusive results in a first research, therefore, the authors consider that the project is at an introductory stage that, in the future, will continue to pursue. So far, the results showed that the application of Physics laboratory experiences through simulation can become an excellent tool to facilitate students' understanding of abstract and complex concepts in the face of lack of presence.","PeriodicalId":427062,"journal":{"name":"Int. Like other manufacturing processes, sustainability interventions are desirable in FDM to attain energy and resource efficiency simultaneously with good product quality. This paper reports the results of investigation conducted by the authors on effect of topology optimization strategy on quality of FDM parts and sustainability of the process. A total of eighteen experiments have been conducted by varying infill pattern and density at three levels each for optimized and unoptimized topology, based on Taguchi L18 technique. Statistical fitness of the data has been insured by ANOVA. Both infill density and pattern have been found the significant parameters. Better mechanical strength has been obtained for topology optimized FDM parts. A set of confirmation experiments have been conducted followed by quantification of sustainability and indicated that improved mechanical properties simultaneously with enhanced sustainability can be achieved via topology optimization in FDM process","PeriodicalId":427062,"journal":{"name":"Int. In fact, this paper deals with the digitalization of vehicle parking lots. This project uses hardware and software components for its realization. Hardware components operate according to software instructions executed according to a working program code within a closed and endless programming cycle. This automatic form of operation of a digital car park not only regulates the traffic inside the car park but also satisfies the drivers of the vehicles with information given in a display or monitor. The information refers to vacancies in the parking lot and informs the driver of the vehicle about whether or not he can park his vehicle by allowing or not allowing the opening of the barrier. On the other hand the system becomes even more sophisticated when at the entrance of the smart parking lot is placed the key for searching for the opening of the barrier which may not open if there are no free parking spaces. All of this is controlled by software written in the C ++ programming language, of course within the Arduino UNO programming environment. Therefore, the electronic-hardware devices used in this paper/project are directed by the relevant software placed in the memory of the microcontroller in the system \"Smart Parking”. The reason for building this automatic vehicle parking system is to control and prevent the attempted parking of vehicles that would seriously impede the exit of previously parked vehicles in the parking lot of the Public University \"Kadri Zeka\" in the city of Gjilan, Republic of Kosovo.","PeriodicalId":427062,"journal":{"name":"Int. We propose a system that takes a blurred image as input and produces a deblurred image by utilizing various filtering techniques. Additionally, we utilize the Siamese Network to match local image segments. A Siamese Neural Network model is used that is trained to account for image matching in the spatial domain. The best-matched image returned by the model is then further used for Signal-to-Noise ratio and Point Spread Function estimation. The Wiener filter is then used to deblur the image. Finally, the results of the deblurring techniques with existing algorithms are compared and it is shown that the error in deblurring an image using the techniques presented in this paper is considerably lesser than other techniques.","PeriodicalId":427062,"journal":{"name":"Int. In now days a battery of researches are trying to detect appropriate strategies to improve cognitive and metacognitive skills. Since ancient times many questions have been raised about what knowledge is (what we mean when we say that someone knows something or what we attribute to a person who we say knows something) and how we can gain knowledge. Moreover how knowledge and information in general is influenced by its transmission is also an important and widely debated problem, which takes different forms depending on the ways (philosophy) or media (technologies) and the era of transmission. In this article we will try to review the pyramid of knowledge in the process of the years getting started from the era of antiquity by affiliating its data with the musings of the Greek philosophers to prove that all the philosophical prepossessions and theories of the past are timelessness and undisputed.","PeriodicalId":427062,"journal":{"name":"Int. Cloud providers are occupied in organizing data warehouses to arrange the continuous growth in cloud user’s acceptance. Features of cloud computing services have afforded an important tendency of companies choosing these services. In this case, many cloud users, who intend a certain service, and many cloud providers, who provision those services, create a competitive market. When constructing a Cloud scheduling scheme, the project trade-offs of the Cloud architecture should be rated. The simplest manner to rate this infrastructure is to use a simulation tool called CloudSim simulation toolkit. To reduce/avoid SLA violations in the cloud computing system, in our work we propose a SLA reduction framework in which we have considered three steps: Migration control of VMs, Energy efficiency and VmScheduling. It is also implemented in Cloudsimulator.","PeriodicalId":427062,"journal":{"name":"Int. J. Recent Contributions Eng. Sci. Some emotions become indistinguishable from others due to high resemblance in their features, which results in low prediction accuracy. This paper analyses the impact of spectral contrast feature in increasing the accuracy for such emotions. The RAVDESS dataset has been chosen for this study. The SAVEE dataset, CREMA-D dataset and JL corpus dataset were also used to test its performance over different English accents. In addition to that, EmoDB dataset has been used to study its performance in the German language. The use of spectral contrast feature has increased the prediction accuracy in speech emotion recognition systems to a good degree as it performs well in distinguishing emotions with significant differences in arousal levels, and it has been discussed in detail. Lately, photocatalytic applications of ZnO nanorods are of greater interest in ecological defense applications. When magnesium is doped with ZnO, the properties of nanorods can be improved for several potential applications in diverse fields of science and technology. In this work, we have studied the effect of parameters like doping concentration and temperature for solution-based growth on the diameter and length of the nanorods grown on the glass substrate. Fuzzy logic controller has been used to calculate precise and accurate results as the fuzzy logic system is based on human-like reasoning. The analysis of the dependence of diameter and length of Mg doped ZnO nanorods on different input parameters is done by fuzzy simulations and the simulated results are then compared with the calculations done using Mamdani’s model. A percentage error that is almost negligible is calculated between the simulated and calculated values. ","PeriodicalId":427062,"journal":{"name":"Int. J. Recent Contributions Eng. Sci.
