Tombras","doi":"10.3991/ijes.v10i01.27245","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.3991/ijes.v10i01.27245","url":null,"abstract":"With this work we aim at presenting a research on high school students’ (ages 16-17, Greece 2015-2017) understanding into the study of basic direct current (DC) circuits. Studies on this subject in over the world have contributed to a rich research base. Students’ conceptual and reasoning difficulties are presented and analyzed, aiming at the development of methodologies and teaching approaches, accompanied by instructional material to resolve them. The difficulties experienced by these students indicate a significant discrepancy between their conceptions and the scientific view. To address these difficulties, the design and the development of two types of programs were chosen. The first is based on educational models in the laboratory and the second consists of auxiliary courses and educational material for its simultaneous use in classroom teachings. The conclusion is that the existing literature is confirmed and enriched with new findings, while a different teaching approach accompanied by appropriate educational material seems to help the address of the conceptual and reasoning difficulties.","PeriodicalId":427062,"journal":{"name":"Int. It has become necessary to change and improve the current system for online learning to keep pace with these changes. E-learning is of increasing importance in higher education and learning communities as standard components in many courses. Especially with the great development in technology, which the Corona pandemic had a great impact on its acceleration and increase in dealing with it. So the COVID-19 affected the whole world also affected education, so education is no longer limited to a specific place and time but it is now possible at any time and place. So even education has changed from face-to-face education to distance education. In this paper, Moodle is used to design an open-source e-learning platform that supports both the student and the teacher by providing services that facilitate teaching, and educational-related administrative tasks and effectiveness. In addition, to know how it affects digital skills which considered one of the most important things related to the Internet recently. It contains competencies that enhance the ability of other significant skills for self-development. The main purpose of this study is to present the way we can develop and improve our emotional intelligence based on the pyramid model and its nine layers. To achieve this goal, the paper seeks to address the following question: What are the metacognitive and metaemotional skills and strategies that can play a key role in developing, enhancing and improving emotional intelligence?Extensive reference is made to the skills that involved in each layer and have been identified as necessary and should be cultivated by the individual leading gradually to the higher levels of self-actualization and transcendence. Furthermore, we suggest some strategies in each layer that work auxiliary and supportive for the cultivation of the specific skills.Metacognitive and metaemotional skills and strategies are necessary to conquer the levels of emotional intelligence and to apply in a variety of contexts with the aim of developing emotional intelligence and self-improvement.","PeriodicalId":427062,"journal":{"name":"Int. A major challenge is the transactional behavior of candidate services which is subject to perpetual change while the composition is running. Compositions of services displaying transactional properties must be dynamically adapted at run time to cope with context fluctuations. By dynamic adaptation, we refer to the ability to alter the composition behavior in response to changes affecting its execution. We focus on changes impacting the successful commit rate of transactional service composition. This has led us to explore the trail of a flexible homeomorphism between alternative behaviors. We propose a behavioral adaptation approach that adjusts the behavior of transactional compositions of services in a proactive and transparent manner. This strategy is based on the Profiled Task Class concept. A service composition generator has also been developed for the performance evaluation of components implementing the behavioral adaptation strategy in order to identify its impact on the commit rate of CATS compositions.","PeriodicalId":427062,"journal":{"name":"Int. The current review paper seeks to determine the role of clinical hypnosis in learning difficulties, emotional or behavioral problems and physical disabilities. In addition, we co-examine the effectiveness of virtual/augmented reality hypnosis. Finally, we discuss the possible uses of clinical hypnosis within the educational settings. On the top of that, the admiration derived of a group of people towards a leader, is a determine factor to characterize the leader as “charismatic – emotionally intelligent”. Consequently, final target along with the adopted strategies are the key points for successful leadership. This is how a high-leveled Job Satisfaction environment for the employees, can be secured, protecting them against Job Burnout syndrome. In Special Education, the consequences of Job Burnout seem to be profoundly serious concerning not only the teacher him/herself but also his/her work efficiency. It has been found that teachers, who face the Job Burnout are usually physically and mentally tired, depressed, and continually anxious, keeping themselves isolated and not easily accessible. This research aims to investigate the correlation between the school leader’s emotionally intelligence and the existence of supportive working environment, where the teacher is motivated, inspired and protected by the danger of Job Burnout.","PeriodicalId":427062,"journal":{"name":"Int. The projects and the hands-on workshops inspire teachers through cutting-edge science and technology to influence and spread the research culture to their students in return. The STEM lab in this paper was presented in a CERN program for Greek primary educators teaching Physics and IT. The research focuses on the teachers' electromagnetic lab and was tested by students in the classroom environment for two subsequent years.
