This paradigm has gained significant attention in pattern recognition field thanks to its efficient learning speed and its high accuracy. In this paper, we have used a fast Extreme Learning Machine to recognize efficiently the Latin Berber characters. So, the proposed ELM has been trained over a Berber-MNIST dataset containing images of Amazigh alphabets. This algorithm learns much faster than traditional popular learning algorithms thanks to the use of JAX library which contains several functions to reduce the execution time of our solution. The simulation results show that the handwritten recognition system based on our developed extreme learning machine decreases computational cost and reduces the time required for the whole recognition process. Furthermore, the developed ELM achieves a high performance in terms of recognition accuracy.","PeriodicalId":427062,"journal":{"name":"Int. J. Recent Contributions Eng. Sci. As the cases related to the personal data breaches is increasing day-by-day among us, so any organizations, system, applications, software or technology components that deal with huge amount of personal data such as contact details, email addresses, addresses and others are in a higher risk sector as the data are valuable. This study highlights the challenges and issues such as the usage of IoT devices, social media, implementation of fourth industrial revolution and also the lack of awareness among users in the process of the implementation of personal data protection. However, all this challenges and issues can be resolved if the users follow the correct method or procedures. Finally, this finding also elaborates some methods that could help users protect their personal data.","PeriodicalId":427062,"journal":{"name":"Int. J. Recent Contributions Eng. Sci. Usually, its diagnosis is based on the judgment of health professionals using a clinical history that often consists of assessment scales completed by caregivers and/or teachers. Many experts have criticized this way of diagnosing ADHD, as it tends to be subjective by both doctors and caregivers. Many researchers argue that using original digital diagnostic tools in the form of games for children with ADHD may provide much clearer diagnostic clues. A game can be enjoyed much more by children, as it stimulates creativity, sets specific goals to be completed, provides a feedback mechanism that fosters motivation, and offers measurable results. The present work investigates the use and effectiveness of electronic games, either in virtual reality environments or not, for the detection of the symptoms of ADHD.","PeriodicalId":427062,"journal":{"name":"Int. The number of people affected by the epidemic has increased dramatically. Iraq is one of the countries affected by the Coronavirus. Hundreds of Iraqi doctors have died because they contact directly with patients. One of the most serious challenges is the high rate of conduction through contact with people infected with this virus. The impact of the coronavirus can be reduced by using one of the advanced technology methods. The internet of things (IoT) is one of these applications. This paper shows that the role of smart surveillance in reducing the risks of covid-19. To avoid face-to-face interaction, physical contact, and maintain social distancing, the smart monitor is designed in this paper. It is used to monitor the health parameters that are affected when infected with covid-19, such as heart rate, oxygen level, blood pressure, and body temperature in real-time and remotely. This will reduce the workload, workload on the medical staff, and reduce the infection with the covid-19.","PeriodicalId":427062,"journal":{"name":"Int. J. Recent Contributions Eng. Sci. Neurofeedback (NF) is widely used for the treatment of ADHD, thus such ADHD cases will be reviewed in this study. As an introduction, a short overview of the definition of ADHD and Neurofeedback, as well as the history of neurofeedback in ADHD will be given. The main part of the paper will present a literature review of neurofeedback in ADHD while mentioning the effects of this treatment. Results and evaluation of NF applications among other treatments are to be discussed in the conclusion, showing that NF is quite promising on ADHD subjects.","PeriodicalId":427062,"journal":{"name":"Int. On the one hand, the share of online shopping in total retail sales is increasing. On the other hand, consumers increasingly expect digital services. At the same time, the spread of smartphones and therefore also mobile apps has been growing for years. More and more retailers are therefore offering mobile apps, which as multi-channel apps combine aspects of online shopping and stationary retail. While the acceptance and use of mobile apps has already been extensively researched, there is little knowledge about the users themselves and user-types. This explorative research classifies users of mobile apps in multi-channel retail. Based on a survey of 101 consumers who were asked to assess the personal relevance of various app functions in a multi-channel retail context, four user types can be identified with the help of a cluster analysis. The results provide practitioners with important information for the future development of mobile apps in retail.","PeriodicalId":427062,"journal":{"name":"Int. J. Recent Contributions Eng. Sci. After the increase in companies that produce solar cells, led to cheaper prices and increased efficiency by the manufacturers. In this paper, we present a study that is a good example of the amount of wasted and unfortunately underutilized solar energy. By collecting weather and environmental data for the Al-Rifai area and studying it through the use of the HOMER energy program, we want to propose a solution to stop the migration of farmers from the countryside to the city by supporting clean and cheap energy projects, overcoming the prevailing unemployment and increasing agricultural production.  We took an example here of desert land with an area of 100 acres in the city of Al-Rifai in southern Iraq, which suffers from the phenomenon of drought and the migration of farmers to nearby cities, and we found it is possible to produce energy in this place at a very cheap cost (0.0119 $/kWh).","PeriodicalId":427062,"journal":{"name":"Int. This study aims to develop a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) to classify trash into biodegradable and non-biodegradable wastes. The TrashNet dataset was utilized in this study, and image augmentation was employed to make the model more robust against translation invariance. Transfer Learning methods based on CNN have shown promising outcomes on diverse image classification problems. This paper reviews the deep learning models available with pre-trained weights in the Keras library. The performance of the models was compared, and the model based on NASNetMobile had the highest accuracy of 97%. Coronavirus has affected the world differently. Economies are disintegrating searching for solutions for the crisis brought about by this pandemic. Education in certain nations has been stopped while others are contriving new ways for teachers and students to interact observing the necessary protocols to guarantee no loss happens on these difficult occasions. Health sectors are the major heroes at these difficult times trying their possible best to fight the virus and get many people immunized against the virus. The internet has seen a lot more compromises because of the new ways adopted by many sectors to still get their businesses running. One of the ways employed mostly is the use of the internet to perform tasks. With the increased use of the internet, it has become even more important now to ensure cybersecurity or information technology protection. Protection of information from unauthorized disclosure, theft, or damage to hardware, software, or electronic data, as well as from disruption or misdirection of services information technologies provide. This paper delves deep into the impact of COVID-19 on cybersecurity, the various cybersecurity trends that are attacking various institutions as this pandemic came about, the various effects of COVID-19 on society, from the perspective of cybersecurity threats and outcomes, and a detailed deliberation on why it is still of great relevance in the teaching and learning of cybersecurity.","PeriodicalId":427062,"journal":{"name":"Int. Due to its nature, augmented reality can be combined with and exploit other innovative technologies in order to improve its efficiency and potentials. Some such technologies are semantic web, knowledge graphs and deep learning. The study main purpose and contribution is to showcase the benefits of developing semantically enriched augmented reality applications and to present a system architecture for developing such applications as well as to showcase and assess an augmented reality application developed following the proposed architecture. The specific application aims at facilitating end-users’ day-to-day activities, enhancing the learning and informing process and increasing user experience (UX). The results of this study showcase that such applications have the potential to be applied and positively affect various sectors and that they can be a useful, flexible, interactive and informative tool for end-users.","PeriodicalId":427062,"journal":{"name":"Int.
