The theoretical analysis shows that: the larger the peak power density is, the larger the conversion efficiency will be; The growth rate of conversion efficiency of Gaussian pulse laser generation of acoustic waves is the largest; With the increasing of optical absorption coefficient or pulse width, the optical-acoustic conversion efficiency can reach a maximum value; Under the same conditions, comparing with triangle and Gaussian laser pulse, the optical-acoustic conversion efficiency is the largest when the power distribution of pulse laser is sinusoid function waveform.","PeriodicalId":425705,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference on Numerical Simulation of Optoelectronic Devices (NUSOD)","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-07-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133820880","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Simulation flows to address each device are presented. The first is a patterned Light Emitting Diode (LED), the optical modeling of which requires a mixed-level simulation approach combining FDTD (or RCWA) and Ray Tracing. The second is a CMOS Image Sensors (CIS), which requires process, optical and electrical simulation techniques.","PeriodicalId":425705,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference on Numerical Simulation of Optoelectronic Devices (NUSOD)","volume":"59 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-07-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133874705","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Four-terminal tandems, in which each cell is connected independently, avoid the need for current matching between the top and bottom cells, giving greater design flexibility. We perform optical and electrical modelling of the efficiency potential for perovskite/silicon tandems, and show that efficiencies of over 30% are realistically possible. We further show that optimizing the transparent conducting layers and applying a grid are important steps to achieving high efficiency. Finally we demonstrate an efficiency of over 20% for a perovskite/silicon tandem in a four-terminal stack, and 23% in a reflective configuration.","PeriodicalId":425705,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference on Numerical Simulation of Optoelectronic Devices (NUSOD)","volume":"165 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-07-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116303751","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is found that the addition of contacts can increase absorption efficiency, decrease scattering efficiency and shift the location of absorption within the nanowire. Localized surface plasmon resonances are found to develop at nanowire/contact interfaces at infrared wavelengths and contribute to the alteration of the optical response of the nanowire.","PeriodicalId":425705,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference on Numerical Simulation of Optoelectronic Devices (NUSOD)","volume":"41 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-07-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127639168","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
