From the navigational and marine hydro-dynamical point of view, the accurate calculation or at least reliable estimation of attainable ship speed at actual sea is essential both from economic and environmental aspects. Reliable ship speed loss estimation under real environmental conditions allows a more accurate prediction of the power increase and fuel consumption as well as gas emissions from ships. On the other hand, technological enhancements like improved hull designs as well as improvement in power and propulsion systems could potentially reduce CO2 emission up to 35%. These measures could effectively be combined with several other operational measures, such as optimal weather routing and voyage planning for ships, in order to ensure that fuel consumption and CO2 emissions from ships are minimized on every voyage. During the last months, we have improved the efficiency and robustness of the Slovak language models trained on the electronic and web-based language resources, including better text processing and document classification, class-based and filled pauses modeling, augmenting of n-grams and fast language model adaptation. This paper gives an overview of that proposal, compared with the current regulation and the ICNIRP 1998 recommendation. Proposed electromagnetic fields legal requirements were challenge taking into account increased uplink transmission from the mobile terminals and mobile network design evolution toward Small Cell concept. After a brief introduction into the problem of reliable real-time delivery of data using IP, major challenges to overcome are identified as packet reordering and packet loss. Both of the methods presented in this paper for improving reliability of real-time video delivery over IP networks focus on the mitigation of the effects of packet reordering and packet loss. The method hides additional information such as a logo or serial number. Uploading the images on the social network has induced image degradation on the original images. Based on the analysis of this attack we developed a method based on the discrete cosine transform - DCT where additional information is hidden by modifying the coefficients in the cosine domain. It also introduces a new paradigm that relates to consideration of parameters of QoS at all layers of OSI (Open System Interconnection) reference model, and their influence on QoE of end users. In order to analyse relation between data link layer parameters and QoE, the paper presents modification of IQX hypothesis (exponential interdependency of quality of experience and quality of service) in consideration with the mentioned parameters and time. A significant contribution to air pollution caused by the activities related to maritime traffic refers to traffic of cruise ships, which regularly consume considerable amounts of fuel in ports due to increased demand for electricity. The combustion of these fuels results in emissions containing relatively high concentration of sulfur and nitrogen oxides, as well as carbon dioxide. In the form of fine particulate matter (PM2.5) they contaminate the environment and become dangerous to the health of living beings. With the increase in the traffic of cruise ships the amount of ship emissions is also increasing and thus the contribution to air pollution is becoming highly important. The linear time-frequency representation is achieved using the Local Polynomial Fourier Transform (LPFT), which allows revealing data local behavior. Based on the LPFT, the frequency-chirp rate domain is used to achieve sparse signal representation. Then the LPFT is combined with the L-statistics to collect only the time-frequency points belonging to the desired signal, while the points belonging to overlapping regions and disturbance are deemed inappropriate and omitted from observations. The relationship between the measurement and sparsity domain is established in order to use the compressive sensing concept and to completely recover the desired signal.
