В основном памятники с материалами финала позднего палеолита сконцентрированы в двух районах: в континентальной части Приморья и в бассейне р. Зеркальной. Орудийный набор характеризуется сочетанием двусторонне обработанных изделий различной модификации, резцов (включая многофасеточные и трансверсальные), унифасиальных острий, тесел и топоров (в т.ч. с подшлифовкой), концевых скребков и ретушированных пластин и пластинок. Время существования этих комплексов лежит в диапазоне от 16– 15 тыс. л.н. до начала голоцена. Вопрос о том, каким образом комплексы финального верхнего палеолита возникли в Приморье, исследователями не решен. Процесс заимствования технологий у соседей подразумевает существование материальной культуры, предшествовавшей этим комплексам, а таковые в Приморье не обнаружены. Следовательно, можно предположить миграцию носителей позднепалеолитической традиции в регион с соседних территорий. Родственные комплексы, с таким же набором нуклеусов и орудий, включая триаду бифасы, резцы и рубящие орудия, обнаружены в Приамурье (памятники бассейна р. Селемджи) и на юге Сахалина (стоянка Огоньки-5). Индустриальные комплексы этих стоянок имеют чуть более древний возраст (19–18 тыс. л.н.), чем приморские материалы, и могли быть, теоретически, центрами миграций древнего населения в Приморье. Но дело в том, что на промежуточных территориях никаких надежно документированных свидетельств комплексов позднего палеолита нет. Предлагается сценарий заселения Приморья в конце позднего палеолита с территории Корейского п-ова.","PeriodicalId":422280,"journal":{"name":"Problems of Archaeology, Ethnography, Anthropology of Siberia and Neighboring Territories","volume":"253 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126041447","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Five mounds have been studied. Four mounds contained burials according to inhumation rite, and fifth mound was a ritual complex which the authors connected with funeral traditions of the population which created the site. The article describes the complexes and collections, as well as elements of the funeral rites. Four adult and one child burial have been studied. The deceased were buried in subrectangular pits in extended position on their backs with heads directed to the southwest. In one case, a structure above the grave - a logwork of five layers in the form of truncated pyramid - has been discovered. The accompanying inventory included elements of horse harness, knife, beads, plaques, and fragment of a round mirror made of white bronze. Several objects with traces of ritual (?) feasts, large vessel containing food remains, and the buried severed head and neck of a dog, which the authors interpret as signs of animal sacrifice, have been discovered under the mound of large ritual complex. All adult burials had been destroyed, most likely for ritual purposes. The analysis of the collection and elements of the funeral rite made it possible to date this site to the 14th-15th centuries and connect it with the nomadic Turkic-speaking population of the Irtysh forest steppe, closely related to the Turks of the Baraba forest steppe. The Mogilno-Starozhilskoe V burial ground represents a rich source of information for studying sophisticated ethnic and cultural processes in the forest steppe in the Late Middle Ages. The research data will be used for further study of ethnographic archaeological complexes expanding our knowledge of ethnic history and culture of the indigenous population which lived in Western Siberia.","PeriodicalId":422280,"journal":{"name":"Problems of Archaeology, Ethnography, Anthropology of Siberia and Neighboring Territories","volume":"60 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124375998","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The works of 2021 enrich our knowledge about the site and elucidate the individual features of material culture among its inhabitants. A fundamentally new pottery form - a bowl - has been observed in the pottery complex which belongs to the Pit-Comb Ware culture. A rare flattened bottom decorated in a typical manner of that culture as well as wall fragments with traces of distinctive smoothing and false textile imprints, and clear imprints of the walking comb stamp have become available. The remains of a ruined workshop for producing stone artifacts with 47 items which may be described as production waste, have been found. In addition, cores, often converted into tools (27 items), knife-like blades (14 items), and scrapers (9 items) have been collected. All items were typical of the stone industry of the Early Metal Age. The collection included individual artifacts of the Odinov, Krotovo, and Andronovo (Fedorovo) cultures. Complexes related to the ethnographic period and associated with the eastern part of Fort Ust-Tartas included fragments of vessels made on the potter’s wheel, containers for storing and preparing food, such as pan, glazed dishes, two sandstone and shale abrasives, two massive sinkers for nets, made on fragments of primitive bricks with double crisscross notches for fastening to the net. These findings prove incorrectness of the attempts to dispute the location of Fort Ust-Tartas on the basis of written sources, which have appeared in the media.","PeriodicalId":422280,"journal":{"name":"Problems of Archaeology, Ethnography, Anthropology of Siberia and Neighboring Territories","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121503870","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Сопка Булочка. Всего проанализировано более 16 000 семян, абсолютное большинство которых принадлежит просу итальянскому (Setaria italicа subsp. italicа). Из них только два семени идентифицированы как принадлежащие другому виду культурного проса – обыкновенному (Panicum miliaceum). Большая часть проанализированных семян получена из пробы No 1 с пола жилища No 1 кроуновской культуры раннего железного века (2 500–2 000 л.н.). Скопление семян размещалось под углистым слоем поблизости от горелой деревянной конструкции и каменного ящика-очага. Очевидно, зерно изначально находилось в деревянной коробочке или мешочке. Именно эти семена первоначально ошибочно были определены как принадлежащие маку снотворному. В пробе No 2 из верхней части заполнения жилища No 9 (зайсановская культура позднего неолита (5 200−3 400 л.н.)) найдено всего 15 зерновок проса итальянского. Стратиграфические наблюдения, морфологическое и размерное сходство зерновок проса итальянского из двух проб позволяет предположить их принадлежность к одному периоду – времени функционирования на памятнике поселения кроуновской археологической культуры. Находки семян итальянского и обыкновенного проса и остатки других культурных растений известны на ряде памятников этого времени (Корсаковское II, Черепаха-13, Шеломаев Ключ). Относительно частые находки семян культурного проса на памятниках раннего железного века Приморья, в т.ч. на пос. Сопка Булочка подтверждает значимую роль проса в системах жизнеобеспечения населения этого периода в общем и у носителей кроуновской археологической культуры в частности.","PeriodicalId":422280,"journal":{"name":"Problems of Archaeology, Ethnography, Anthropology of Siberia and Neighboring Territories","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122180535","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The author considered two early Neolithic sites in the Nenjiang River basin in the territory of modern Jilin province, Houtaomuga (its earliest layer), Shuangta, as well as the later one, Changtuozi-3. The comparison with the traditions of the archaeological cultures of the adjacent territories of the Russian Far East could make it possible to clarify the distribution of ancient pottery in the region. The most credible similarities come from the cultures of Amur River valley, the Osipovka and Gromatukha, Novopetrovka, Mariinskoye cultures. The earliest materials of the Houtaomuga Phase 1 generally fit into the gap between these cultures and the later North Chinese ones. The following conclusions were made as a result of the investigations: 1. The main unifying feature for all these ceramic traditions is the addition of organic materials (grounded grass and, less often, crushed shell); 2. The most typical forms of the early Neolithic in this region are flat-bottomed cylindrical or truncated-conical pots; 3. The ceramics was constructed by slab construction methods or a mold base; 4. Similar ornament motives were made with a comb stamp and various combinations of comb patterns; 5. Typical features for later ceramics are ornamentation with molded rolls, sometimes dissected or decorated with impressions. The early ceramics of the two regions is rather similar and obviously differs greatly from the pointed or round-bottomed pottery examples from Transbaikal, the Japanese archipelago, and southern China. The highlighted common features indicate a certain continuity of the traditions of ceramic production in the region.","PeriodicalId":422280,"journal":{"name":"Problems of Archaeology, Ethnography, Anthropology of Siberia and Neighboring Territories","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129940067","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Рассматриваются вопросы хронологии, основанной на датах абсолютного возраста и относительном залегании литологических тел в толщах разрезов многослойных памятников, где установлена последовательность ландшафтно-климатических изменений различных этапов плейстоцена. Объекты региона, судя по фракционированности материала, представляют стоянки с полным циклом обработки камня. Распределенные на временной шкале по климатостратиграфическим подразделениям сартанского оледенения, они содержат каменные и костяные индустрии заключительной стадии верхнего палеолита региона. Определены петрографические свойства каменного инвентаря, предложены типологические и технологические характеристики технокомплексов. Способы расщепления горных пород, представленные во всех комплексах, основаны на параллельном раскалывании. Повсеместно в торцовых, редких клиновидных нуклеусах отражены микропластинчатые технологии. Для орудийных наборов всех стоянок характерно сочетание артефактов верхнепалеолитической типологии (разнообразные скребки, резцы, проколки, ретушированные сколы) и изделий (скребла, анкоши, ножи с упорами), присутствующих в большом количестве в комплексах среднего палеолита, что свойственно заключительной стадии верхнего палеолита Южной Сибири. Для многих технокомплексов сартанских объектов характерен микроинвентарь, выраженный, прежде всего, в виде пластинок с притупленным краем. Таким образом, на значительном отрезке верхнего палеолита сартанского времени Северо-Западного Алтая сохраняется устойчивая культурная традиция древнего социума.
