First, it is presented a strategy to load the storage system, followed by a discussion of the strategy to take the energy from the storage system. Finally, the results of applying the former strategy to improve the output signal of an AC/AC converter are showed.","PeriodicalId":422068,"journal":{"name":"2017 IEEE Mexican Humanitarian Technology Conference (MHTC)","volume":"156 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115926313","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This article describe the process of automation of a conveyor belt using a machine learning algorithms that is able to immediately recognize each type different electronic board. For image processing a webcam is used. The obtained information is sent a free server of a web page by a WiFi module. Is obtained an automatic and intelligent process of low cost of robotic cell.","PeriodicalId":422068,"journal":{"name":"2017 IEEE Mexican Humanitarian Technology Conference (MHTC)","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121734591","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the presence of saponin and its toxicity in the grain surface makes necessary its elimination for human consumption. This article deals with the elimination of saponin in fluidized bed for the bitter Chimborazo quinoa, with an initial saponin content of 0.45%, and compared to traditional wet methods. The experimental equipment is controlled by the Data Capture Unit of the National Instruments NI cDAQ-9139, which makes the interface between the reactor and the internal computer through Lab VIEW software, with High level of automation. A 3 factorial experiment was designed, where the independent variables were the surface roughness, air speed, pulse of air flow and dependent variable was the saponin content of the final product. The statistical processing showed significance for the 3 independent variables. Saponin content values of 0.08% were obtained and only a slight rinse was necessary to achieve recommended for human consumption value of 0.06%. It was determined that both protein values as color, do not change with process desaponification used. The proposed method significantly reduces water consumption compared to traditional wet desaponification method widely used.","PeriodicalId":422068,"journal":{"name":"2017 IEEE Mexican Humanitarian Technology Conference (MHTC)","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127074396","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The aim of this paper is to analyze a case study where a co-construction methodological approach was applied to productive projects in isolated rural communities. This project has the particularity of using local renewable energy resources to satisfy the energy demand of the productive process. The co-construction approach was implemented from the kick-off of the project to the operation and evaluation stages. In this specific case, the proposed methodology required that the community became involved in the decision-making process from the beginning of the project. The methodology was applied in the General Lagos region in the north of Chile, within the framework of the sustainable development project “Ayllu Solar.” The results showed that high levels of community engagement could be achieved through the involvement of the community since the beginning of sustainable development projects.","PeriodicalId":422068,"journal":{"name":"2017 IEEE Mexican Humanitarian Technology Conference (MHTC)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130680292","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
