Morales","doi":"10.17583/RISE.2019.3877","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.17583/RISE.2019.3877","url":null,"abstract":"Este articulo presenta un proyecto de innovacion docente, financiado por la Universidad de Granada, que tiene por objetivo principal la medicion de la eficacia de un proceso de coaching. Para ello se ha generado un sistema de indicadores que pretende ser una herramienta de medicion en dos aspectos fundamentales: primero, la adquisicion de habilidades personales y la potenciacion del autoconocimiento; y segundo, el rendimiento academico y la mejora de su potencial personal. {"title":"Higher Education and Funding Strategies for Knowledge Generation of Releance: A Comparative Study between Mozambique and Brazil","authors":"P. However, most of the African countries including Mozambique still lag behind with regards to higher education placement in the international ranking and competition. Funding strategies for both knowledge generation and research incentives are considerably seen as key factors that enhance university performance and success. For most of African countries the insufficiency of both political and economic independence has led to a sharp marginalization of higher education and reliance on external donors. Drawing from the above captioned evidence, this paper aims at investigating the development process of Mozambican higher education. It argues that experiences from Brazil concerning maximization of research funding agencies for strengthening higher education can be contextualized as a means of revitalizing universities after decades of depreciation.Key words: Higher Education. {"title":"Presencia y Tratamiento de las No-Heterosexualidades en la Educación Afectiva-Sexual","authors":"Alejandro Granero Andújar, Teresa García Gómez","doi":"10.17583/RISE.2019.3815","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.17583/RISE.2019.3815","url":null,"abstract":"El fin de este trabajo es conocer en profundidad la inclusion o exclusion de aquellas identidades afectivas-sexuales no-hegemonicas en la educacion afectiva-sexual atendiendo al grado de presencia de estas, asi como al tratamiento recibido. La investigacion esta planteada desde un enfoque cualitativo, utilizando el estudio de caso como metodo de investigacion. Los resultados muestran que en las practicas educativas estudiadas se realiza un trabajo superficial sobre tales identidades, al mismo tiempo que son reproducidos en muchas ocasiones valores excluyentes, discriminatorios o estigmatizantes. Sin embargo, en las ultimas investigaciones sobre origen familiar y rendimiento escolar ambas estan desapareciendo de forma progresiva, incluida el numero de libros en el hogar. Tanto es asi, que la OCDE posee un indice especifico para las posesiones culturales en el hogar, pero no lo incluye ni una sola vez en el Informe PISA 2015. En este articulo comprobamos si el capital cultural sigue prediciendo el desempeno escolar. Y si es asi, que peso poseen las posesiones culturales y los libros en el hogar. Bingham","doi":"10.17583/RISE.2018.3532","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.17583/RISE.2018.3532","url":null,"abstract":"In this paper, I examine how new institutionalism is similar to, and may expand upon Goffman’s dramaturgical analysis of human action and social life. I argue that while Goffman’s dramaturgical lens is useful for examining micro-social interactions among individuals, the ‘audience,’ and the organization, integrating new institutionalism as a theoretical framework into Goffman’s framework of dramaturgical analysis may provide the tools for combined micro-/macro-social analysis that incorporates the overarching influence of the institution (the ‘theater’) on micro-social interactions.
