Spherical gearing with intermediate spherical bodies (SGISB) has rather high loading ability-higher than traditional bevel gearing-due to almost absolute tooth bending rigidity and which is limited only by contact strength. The most difficult element of this gearing is a wheel with trochoidal tooth profile. Such a wheel may be cut at standard machine tools for cutting bevel wheels with circle teeth or at coordinate milling machine with numerical program control. The intermediate body (IB) is a standard ball produced by bearing industry. This gearing may work both with liquid lubrication and consistent one. These gearing features make evident its rather high technological effectiveness. Accuracy characteristics of this gearing type are not deeply developed. This research is devoted to driven member position error (DMPE) with existence of axis intersection angle error and effects of contacting surfaces elastic deformations. Wheel turning angle taking into account realistic element geometry may be done based on real contact line equation.","PeriodicalId":421846,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 6th International Scientific and Practical Conference of Students, Post-graduates and Young Scientists. The aerosol cloud boundaries and the location are easily defined by means of a lidar working at one wavelength. However, it is impossible to estimate the particle size distribution by means of an ordinary single wavelength lidar. We have developed a lidar with a spatial filter installed in the receiver allowing one to measure the power of returns due to multiple scattering. The aerosol detection efficiency of this lidar is discussed.","PeriodicalId":421846,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 6th International Scientific and Practical Conference of Students, Post-graduates and Young Scientists. Inclusion of physical effects into PPO founded on the change of pulse-aggregate, relaxation conditions of substance is quite often equivalently to transfer of the hardware control to a structural level of an object. However, problem solving of the coordination of time-space parameters of an exposure with strength, structural and frequency parameters of controlled object should precede to its including and control of its current condition. As a matter of fact, it means the creation of the reasons for maintenance of exploitation of the hardware under conditions of physical acclimatization to a variable exposure. And such acclimatization can frequently have similar features for the hardware and processes, the object functions which one are various.","PeriodicalId":421846,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 6th International Scientific and Practical Conference of Students, Post-graduates and Young Scientists. The tree structure grows into the volume of dielectric due to the material damage on account of energy released during partial discharges. Therefore registration and analysis of PD spatial-temporal characteristics seems to be important both for theoretical studies of electrical treeing and practical evaluation of long-term electric strength of insulation constructions. In the present paper, the self-consistent model of electrical treeing proposed by the authors in 1998 is applied to study PD characteristics and charge dynamics within electrical tree structures.","PeriodicalId":421846,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 6th International Scientific and Practical Conference of Students, Post-graduates and Young Scientists. The calculation is carried out taking into account thermal limitations, actual inductance change curves received by solving field problems as the shape of inductance change curves influences generator characteristics. Heat calculations of inductor generator are of practical use when dealing with high voltage. Thermal limitations at continuous generator duty are considered to be important factors determining limiting indices concerning generator specific power. In doing so the main factor limiting generated power in the load is the temperature of generator winding insulation. Using simplified mathematical models on the basis of thermal equivalent circuit is a preferential calculation method of generator operating temperatures. It should be pointed out that thermal calculations are usually made along with aerodynamic and ventilation calculations of electrical machine cooling system to determine the shifting rate of the cooling flow. To increase the intensity of heat branching from the heated generator elements, a centrifugal ventilator with radial blades is fixed on the shaft. Heating temperature relation of the designed inductor generator elements before stable duty is settled is of exponential character and is determined by two main parameters-stable temperature and time constant of heating.","PeriodicalId":421846,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 6th International Scientific and Practical Conference of Students, Post-graduates and Young Scientists. A majority of the investigations treating two-beam interaction have considered the codirectional geometry. A reflection grating in the (111) cut of Bi/sub 12/TiO/sub 20/ (BTO) crystal was demonstrated previously as useful for real-time dynamic holographic interferometry. The polarization properties of self-diffraction in the reflection geometry for a [00]) cut of selenite crystals have been analyzed by Mallick et al. (1997). In this paper, the authors report the temporal behavior of light beams interacting on photorefractive reflection gratings in a nominally pure BTO crystal. The time evolution of light-induced absorption and two-beam coupling gain is investigated experimentally and theoretically.","PeriodicalId":421846,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 6th International Scientific and Practical Conference of Students, Post-graduates and Young Scientists. Thus, at creation of optical devices it is necessary to carefully control parameters of used optical elements. Application of information technologies and usage of modern computers opens up broad capabilities for this purpose. One possible solution of this problem of studying properties of optical elements of devices is the usage of spectrometric complexes CSCU (complex spectrometric computing universal) together with modern computers. This complex is a complicated optical-electronic device intended for measurement intensity of fireballs on different wavelengths. The given program is intended for control of a hardware-software complex CSCU-12. It fulfils the following functions: assigning parameters of complex operation; readout of a spectrum from a specimen; conclusion of the obtained data on the display and printer; and mathematical processing obtained data. The program uses C++ language and is intended for operation on IBM-compatible computers.","PeriodicalId":421846,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 6th International Scientific and Practical Conference of Students, Post-graduates and Young Scientists.
