Now there is a set of the literary data demonstrating that the application of alternating-current allows one to: intensify a series of electrochemical processes; lower power inputs; improve quality of conducting process; and perform in principle new processes and increase their manufacturability. The kinetics of electrochemical reactions is influenced by such parameters of a current as the form, frequency, asymmetry, and density. A brief list of processes carried out with an asymmetric alternating current of the sinusoidal form is shown. The author considers current parameters of some of them.","PeriodicalId":421846,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 6th International Scientific and Practical Conference of Students, Post-graduates and Young Scientists. Having a series of test signals and their responses, it is possible to try to restore the transforming operator, but in general cases, for each action, they appeared different. It is difficult because of the low exactitude of the approximating operator and the inconvenience of its form for further handling.","PeriodicalId":421846,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 6th International Scientific and Practical Conference of Students, Post-graduates and Young Scientists. Taking the crystal surface to be traction free we consider two cases: (a) dielectric boundary and (b) short-circuited (metallized) boundary. The analysis shows that the photorefractive grating near the crystal boundary has a complex structure. It can be shown that the crystal boundary and the electric boundary conditions have a large influence on the changes in the dielectric tensor induced by a photorefractive grating. Near the crystal surfaces, the changes in the dielectric tensor are different from their volume values, it gives rise to diffraction processes which are forbidden for a bulk grating. One should take elastic contribution into account when calculating the gain expected in photorefractive waveguides or in any case in which light beams travel near the surface of a photorefractive crystal.","PeriodicalId":421846,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 6th International Scientific and Practical Conference of Students, Post-graduates and Young Scientists. As the computer model allows the reproduction of any situation, then it is possible: (a) to give a work-out to operations of technologists in standard situations; (b) to give a work-out to procedures carried out by staff at localization and liquidation of emergencies; and (c) to develop capacity of the technologist to forecast equipment malfunctions, which result in violations of the technological process, thus improving safety.","PeriodicalId":421846,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 6th International Scientific and Practical Conference of Students, Post-graduates and Young Scientists. One of the major problems of diagnostics is practically obtaining the detailed information about radiation losses location during all plasma discharge. In the thermonuclear installations of a Tokamak type the considerable part of power of heating is blown by ruled radiation of impurities-basically in vacuum ultra-violet (VUV) and mild X-ray areas of a spectrum, and the part is blown by neutral fragments. Therefore, it is necessary to measure permanently the local specific power of radiation and total power of radiation losses from plasma, as these values contain the relevant information indispensable for analysis of power and impurities, the availability of which results in radiation losses. The paper discusses a diagnostic system to measure the radiation losses.","PeriodicalId":421846,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 6th International Scientific and Practical Conference of Students, Post-graduates and Young Scientists. Porous titanium nickelide is a qualitatively new implant material being a successful example of the fusion of physical metallurgy, physics and medicine. Implants using titanium nickelide are well borne by tissues. They have high biological inertness and are nontoxic. With the formation of a strong joint in the contact zone of the recipient implant and bone the bone tissue grows successfully into the porous frame of the implant (V. E. Gyunter, 1998). Patients with malignant neoplasms of the upper jaw have combined treatment as the course of radical therapy is carried out. The second stage is surgical treatment: an electric resection of the upper jaw with simultaneous endoprosthesis provision using an implant of porous titanium nickelide. Taking into account the previously executed anthropometry and the data from radiography and computed tomography of the skull, prosthetic devices are produced of the necessary configuration. When obtaining a personal volumetric model the developed system of design based on computer reconstruction of a bone defect according to the data of X-ray computer tomography is used. In total 114 patients with malignant neoplasms of the upper jaw were operated on with application of endoprosthetic devices of porous titanium nickelide.","PeriodicalId":421846,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 6th International Scientific and Practical Conference of Students, Post-graduates and Young Scientists. The paper consider electrical and physical parameters of biological medium under electromagnetic fields of different intensities and frequencies. Under the influence of an external electromagnetic field on a biological medium, secondary currents and charges occur, their value depending both on electrical and physical parameters of this medium, and on intensity and frequency of an exciting field. To analyze the interaction of an exciting electromagnetic field with biological medium, a computer mathematical model is used. The interaction of an inductive converter with the biological medium is considered.","PeriodicalId":421846,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 6th International Scientific and Practical Conference of Students, Post-graduates and Young Scientists. The polygraphic signals are represented by signals of ECG, EMG, SCR, SPL, and breathing. These signals are acquired from the patient for a state estimation of a vegetative nervous system during the experiment. The polygraphic signals are acquired simultaneously with encephalographic signals. The simultaneous and synchronized acquisition from the patient of the set of all the mentioned above signals is a necessary condition for learning correlation between processes happening in the cortex of a brain, and processes occurring in a vegetative nervous system. A system destined for an exploratory experiment requires continuous modifying of operation and data processing algorithms pursuant to changes of experiment conditions at minimum costs.","PeriodicalId":421846,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 6th International Scientific and Practical Conference of Students, Post-graduates and Young Scientists.
