In order to meet the continuous increasing demand for transport services, it is necessary to combine all transport modes and technologies efficiently. In this regard, the integration of air transport, which is the fastest mode of transport, and rail transport, which is the safest mode of transport, is seen as the most ideal way out. In this context, the city of Trabzon was selected and it how the amount of air passenger transport will change if there is rail transport has been investigated. Within the scope of the study, regression analysis was performed to investigate the effect of rail passenger transportation on the air passenger transportation of Samsun, which was selected as a sample. Afterwards, the impact rates obtained from Samsun were included in the regression analysis results for Trabzon air passenger transportation. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that the effect of rail passenger transportation on Samsun airport passenger transportation was 1.44% in 2019, this effect will increase regularly to 21.03% in 2040. The situation increased speed pressure that exists for so long on ports. In the meantime, operational speed requirements, port congestions, spread of port services threaten occupational health and safety in port areas. To cope with this risk many regulations and measures were taken by port authorities. In this study, it is aimed to determine the priority levels of the OHS rules applied to prevent possible risks and accidents in container ports. It has also been attempted to evaluate which factors are more effective in the implementation of these rules. Thus, occupational health and safety rules applied in Turkish container ports were determined and evaluated by experts. By this means, these applications were prioritized in terms of their significance levels. In the scope of these applications, prominent factors that threaten occupational health and safety were approached. Thus, a framework related to occupational health and safety rules applied in Turkish container ports and factors threaten them was designated. Today, relevant ministries and local administrations are working on the continuous improvement of transportation infrastructure and facilities. Alternative transportation possibilities about the transportation of people which are developed by taking into account the geographical characteristics, increase the competition in this area day by day. Transportation companies develop strategies directly for the customer in order to be successful in the competitive environment. In this study, the travel preferences and demographic structure of travellers were associated with a cluster analysis through the types of transportation that exist in the province of Konya. The survey study was analyzed with the SPSS program cluster analysis. As a result it was concluded that when the participants were grouped according to some demographic variables, it was seen that the most dominant modes of transportation were road and air. Bu yuzden, tarimsal tedarik zincirlerinin tasarimi ve isletilmesi daha siki duzenlemelere tabi olmalidir. Bu calismada, gida tedarik zincirlerinin tasarimi icin oncelikle operasyonel arastirma yontemlerinin bir literatur incelemesi verilmis ardindan seftali suyu urunlerinin tedarik zinciri surdurulebilirligi icin yeni bir kapali dongu ag tasarimi uygulamasi sunulmustur. Şeftali suyu tedarik zinciri ag tasarim modeli, karma tamsayili dogrusal programlamaya dayali olarak kâri maksimize etmek uzere formule edilmis ve sayisal bir ornek yardimiyla GAMS programinda cozulerek dogrulanmistir. Onerilen model, ciftci-tedarikci secimi, tasima ve dagitim sorunlarini ele alirken geri donusum sureci ile maliyet dusurme, cevrenin korunmasi ve atiklarin ekonomiye kazandirilmasi faaliyetlerini on plana cikarmaktadir. Modelin cozum sonuclari, ele alinan gida- tedarik zincirinde en fazla mali giderlerin satin alma kalemi oldugunu ortaya koymustur. Previously; providing a service for Istanbul, Ataturk Airport had a limited capacity in terms of air transportation resulting in a mostly ineffective use of time and resources. Thus; this study points out how Istanbul Airport solves the problems experienced previously problems with the expectations of being a solid contender for Turkey in today’s modern aviation. In this paper, a brief explanation of how aviation reached its current place is given and numerical data are provided to further clarify the enormous growth of civil aviation both for Turkey and globally. Subsequently, the role of Istanbul Airport for Turkish civil aviation has been explained in depth. In the light of this information, strengths and weaknesses are identified first, and then opportunities and weaknesses are presented (SWOT analysis) specifically for Istanbul Airport. In the final part of this paper, the importance of new applications through aviation systems has been evaluated briefly to better understand how it positively effects companies, air traffic control units and how it shapes the future of air transportation systems. We believe that the analysis given in four sub-sections will give us a clear understanding of the pros and cons of Istanbul Airport. Therefore, expanded High-Speed Railway (HSR) systems provide a reliable opportunity for fast freight transport. In Turkey, the length of the HSR has reached 1,213 km and 1,889 km more are under construction, mostly dedicated to passenger transport. This research investigates the possible use of the new Ankara-Sivas HSR line for freight by analyzing the future traffic potential to find out the spare capacity for freight traffic. The results of the research reveal that the traffic potential on the Ankara-Sivas HSR line might not be justified by passenger traffic alone and the spare capacity should be used by express freight trains. The effects of this transformation have been the subject of many academic studies . The aim of this study is to understand how the domain knowledge of global supply chain literature has grown and evolved over time. Through co-citation analysis using CiteSpace software, a literature cognitive map has been extracted and hotspot topics, emerging trends and burst cited articles have been discovered in this map. The secondary data (including 653 research papers and 18,197 references) used in the analysis was retrieved from the Web of Science database. The results indicate that the sub-topics “greenhouse gas emission”, “corporate social responsibility” and “fair-trade labeling scheme” are new emerging trends in research of global supply chains. Also, the research focus has been sliding from cost reduction – profit maximization issues towards environmental and social issues under the sustainable supply chain management theory.
