Gecer","doi":"10.26650/jtl.2021.894265","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.26650/jtl.2021.894265","url":null,"abstract":"This paper proposes an ant colony optimization algorithm for a capacitated vehicle routing problem to determine the shortest waste collection and transportation route covered by a waste collection truck in the Şahinbey municipality of Gaziantep/Turkey. The real-case problem concerns a capacity-restricted garbage compactor truck that collects and transports waste from 349 residential waste containers located in 148 collection points. Possible solutions obtained from the ant colony algorithm were compared with mixed-integer programming model solutions. The results of the proposed ant colony optimization algorithm showed that our model yields a 28% reduction in the total daily traveled distances and energy savings against existing consumption. The new solution also cuts the current annual waste collection and transportation expenditure per vehicle by 30%. It is shown that a considerably shorter route distance obtained in the algorithmic solution helps to reduce air pollution from the infamously inefficient garbage collection trucks. The internet made this jump more visible and widespread while providing new challenges and opportunities together. Dull software systems evolved into mobile or web-based, fully integrated multilingual assets that helped companies to become new winners, or by another name, “record breakers” in the world markets. This paper aims to enlighten the necessity of shifting companies to upgrade their software infrastructure into web-based, lightweight, budget-wise, feasible, innovative platforms that can create sustainable profitability while simplifying complex organisational problems in the maritime industry. KSHAL is a web-based ERP program designed for small and medium-sized freight forwarders, shipping companies and maritime logistics organisations. KSHAL is capable of handling container shipments, container trading activities, freight quotations, and customer relations successfully. KSHAL Project as a web-based maritime software alternative will be the focal point of this article as an excellent example of planning, designing, coding, deploying and commercialising the whole software development process in one go. In case of differences, demographic factors caused by the Digital Divide were examined. If Digital Division is not detected, the reasons for this are emphasized. For this purpose, the overall profile of the customer group engaged in e-commerce in Turkey was summarized, and the demographic variables that e-commerce is associated with were determined using Non-Parametric techniques. Then, utilizing the Log-Linear Models, one of the methods of the Advanced Contingency Table Analysis, the effects including two-way and three-way interactions were investigated. In this sense, this study seeks to identify variables associated with the competitiveness of airports, based on their infrastructures, operations, and locations, which can influence the decision-making of airport managers continuously and efficiently. An analysis of the seven busiest Brazilian airports, in terms of aircraft and passenger movement, has been made, and multivariate data analysis has been used through a multiple regression, verifying the relationship between the variables of airports competitiveness, such as the total area of the airport site, number of aircraft parking positions, number of airlines, quantity of aircraft movement- landings and takeoffs, total number of passengers and the GDP of the city where the airport under study is located. Soz konusu uluslararasi normlar, basta 5378 sayili Engelliler Hakkinda Kanun olmak uzere farkli zamanlarda ve kapsamlarda kabul edilen cesitli duzenlemeler ile ulusal mevzuata aktarilmistir. Bu calismada; deniz ulasiminda engelli yolcularin erisilebilirlik ve emniyetine iliskin IMO ve AB normlari ile Turkiye’nin ulusal mevzuatinin karsilastirmasi ve varsa ulusal mevzuattaki bosluklarin belirlenmesi amaclanmistir. Bu amacla; oncelikle engellilik ve erisilebilirlik kavramlari, dunyada ve Turkiye’de engellilerin durumu, engellilerin ihtiyaclari ve cevresel etkenler, Turkiye’de denizyolu ile yolcu tasimaciliginin durumu, BM’nin “evrensel tasarim” ilkesi gibi literature iliskin konular sistematik olarak incelenmistir. Akabinde, yolcu gemilerinde/terminallerde engellilerin erisilebilirligi ve emniyetine iliskin IMO ve AB normlarina gore Turkiye’nin ulusal mevzuatina yonelik bir bosluk analizi yapilmistir. Sadece yolcu ve yuk tasimaciligi acisindan degil, farkli deniz operasyonlarinda da bu durum gecerliligini korumaktadir. Bu noktadan yola cikarak gemilerde, denizlerde karsilasilabilecek farkli siddetteki ruzgar, dalga vb durumlarda guvenli seyir gerceklestirilebilmesi amaciyla bircok ekipman kullanilmaktadir. Bu ekipmanlar aktif ve pasif sistemler olarak siniflandirilmakta ve farkli gemi tiplerine uygulanabilmektedir. Ozellikle hiz ve manevra kabiliyetinin yuksek oldugu gemi turleri icin anlik tepkilerin onemli olmasi nedeniyle aktif dengeleyici sistemler siklikla kullanilmaktadir. Kullanilan bircok aktif sistem olmakla beraber, aktif yalpa dengeleyici fin sistemleri en yaygin olanidir. Bu baglamda, calismada aktif yalpa dengeleyici fin sistemi ile kayici bir teknenin yalpa hareketi icin, Dogrusal Matris Esitsizlikleri tabanli, dayanikli ve doyumlu H2 durum geri beslemeli kontrol uygulamasi tanimlanmaktadir. Matematik modelde dogrusal olmayan ifadeler, sonum ve dogrultucu moment terimleriyle ifade edilmektedir. Kayici teknenin yalpa hareketinin matematik modeline dayali olarak ayrica durum-uzay modeli, kontrol uygulamasi ve simulasyon icin sunulmaktadir. Aktif fin yalpa dengeleyici sistemin farkli acilardaki boyutsuz kaldirma katsayilari Star CCM+ programiyla hesaplanmistir. Kontrollu ve kontrolsuz durumlardaki yalpa genlikleri maksimum kaldirma katsayisi icin incelenmistir. In the study, which is made specifically for the distributor pallet loading problem, the dimensions of width, length and height of the products are considered to be the same, and the study, which is based on distributor pallet loading problem, has been conducted in a way that the dimensions of products will be reduced to the 2D pallet loading problem without loading a 3D pallet. The research concentrates on the constraint of loading different customers’ pallets so as not to mix their products during transportation and as the problem will be examined in 2-dimensions, instinctively objects are only allowed to be rotated in 2-dimensions.
