Based on listen-before-talk (LBT), LAA can allow mobile operators to utilize unlicensed spectrum as supplementary carriers for data offloading and also can guarantee fair coexistence with other access technologies (e.g., Wi-Fi) in unlicensed band. To obtain more available bandwidth and achieve higher data transmission rate, multiple unlicensed carriers could be aggregated by using multi-carrier LBT. However, multi-carrier LBT mechanism cannot always enhance system performance when the stations including Wi-Fi APs and LAA stations are densely deployed. This is because that the dense deployment of stations will lead to increasing the collision probability and decreasing the probability of successful transmission. To reveal the fundamental characteristics of multi-carrier LAA mechanism, in this paper, we first analyze the performance of multi-carrier LBT mechanism. Then, we propose a low-complexity algorithm for multi-carrier LBT operations to provide better system performance under saturation traffic scenario. We consider the case where the secondary transmitter (S) has fixed power supply, but no energy is provided to secondary relay node (R) which harvests energy from the part of its received signal from S. It further uses the harvested energy to forward the resulting information to the secondary receiver (D). Besides, we consider that the transmit power at S and R are both constrained by the maximum interference power at the primary user and the maximum transmit power. The exact expression for the outage probability at D is obtained, and we study the effect of energy conversion efficiency, the maximum tolerable interference power constraint, the data rate and the maximum transmit power on the OP performance. Due to the high-speed movement of vehicles, it has a high chance to cause communication breaks. In order to handle this problem, we propose a hybrid relay node selection strategy, which combines two typical selection strategies: one is to choose a relay node which is closest to the destination. The other is to choose a relay node which has the best link status with the sender. By applying this hybrid strategy, the sender can transmit the packets to two different relay nodes, which brings the robustness to the communication. The interference sources which are distributed randomly throughout the whole area can form an identical pattern. In this paper, we propose a sensitive based adaptive particle filter scheme to locate the target with geomagnetic field. Firstly, we construct the feature map using interpolation method after gathering intensity and three-component of geo-magnetic field by a smartphone. Then we divide the space into some subspaces and utilize the measured values to find best match map. Finally, we integrate perceptual information into particle filter for adaptive processing. Our scheme can adjust the filter parameters to match different feature points automatically, which enhance the relationship between the target positions and the feature map using particle filter. The experimental results indicate that comparing to the traditional particle filter, our scheme is more stable. We propose an optimized signal-space aligned network coding transceiver scheme for sum-rate maximization. In the scheme, the signal alignment pattern and computed message combinations are determined by a carefully designed indicator matrix. Linear precoding operations at users are applied to realize the signal-space alignment. The aligned spatial streams at BSs are used to generate message combinations. We jointly optimize the alignment pattern and linear precoding operations to achieve a higher sum rate. Spectrum market mechanism improves the spectrum efficiency effectively but sometimes it also may bring a waste when the spectrum price is too high to be affordable by a single user. The problem is modeled into a coalition formation game with the group buying mechanism. To reduce the users' cost further, we focus on the repeated traffic content of the coalition users. Instead of transmitting the data again and again, the users share the content and afford the cost equally based on their traffic. Compared with the Pareto order, a selfish and non-Pareto order is proposed to achieve better performance. The existence of the stable coalition partition and the convergence of the proposed algorithm are both proved. However, in realistic propagation environments, both the scatterers and the MS can be moving, and the velocities of the scatterers and the MS can change with time. In this paper, we develop a non-stationary multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) channel model for street corner scenarios. The proposed channel model takes into account both fixed and moving scatterers. Velocity variations, including speed and movement direction, of the MS and moving scatterers are considered. Analytical solutions of spatial cross-correlation function (CCF), temporal autocorrelation function (ACF), and Wigner-Ville spectrum are derived and analyzed. Moreover, the impacts of velocity variations on the statistical properties of the proposed model are investigated. A phase-coded orthogonal frequency division multiplex (PC-OFDM) waveform in which the phase sequence being controlled via transmitted messages is given. A radar data processing algorithm that is able to achieve the joint estimation of the range and velocity simultaneously, for the single-scatter-point target is presented within one single transmitted pulse. Moreover, the performance analysis of the radar algorithm is analyzed in detail. Unlike the conventional additive error model, we consider a novel multiplicative phase error model which is more suitable for capturing the channel uncertainty in mmWave systems. We adopt a partially-connected hybrid structure where each radio frequency (RF) chain is connected to an exclusive subset of antenna elements at the base station. The robust design problem is formulated to minimize the total transmit power while satisfying the outage constraint for each user's signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR). We first utilize the alternating minimization method to optimize the analog and digital beamformers alternatively. Each of these two subproblems is then solved approximately by using the second-order Taylor expansion together with the Bernstein-type inequality. Simulation results show that the approximation is quite safe and the outage constraint can be well satisfied. Since 2008, laser chaos has been viewed as the most promising source of randomness for fast RNGs because of its high bandwidth and large fluctuation. However, most of physical RNGs based on laser chaos did their random number extraction in the electrical domain, and thus their real-time rates suffered from the limitation of electronic bottleneck. Combing the chaotic laser with photonic signal processing techniques, we proposed and developed an innovative real-time methodology for ultrafast physical RNGs. Different with previous reports on RNGs, our fully photonic method do the random number extraction in the optical domain, so it efficiently circumvents the electronic bottleneck and has the potential to reach a real-time rate at the level of Tb/s.
