In order to overcome this problem, we combine the advantages of artificial feature with deep convolutional activation feature and design support vector machines (SVM) based on the importance of features. In this paper, we first use the bilinear neural network model to extract the deep convolutional activation feature of samples and combine it with artificial feature. The bilinear form simplifies gradient computation and allows end-to-end training. Then, multi-kernel SVM based on weighted features are trained to complete the image classification task. Finally, we present experiments and visualizations on FGVC-Aircraft and Stanford Dogs databases that analyze the effects of combined features and the multi-kernel SVM on the fine-grained object classification. The 83.8% and 66.1% accuracy proves the effectiveness of our strategy.","PeriodicalId":418396,"journal":{"name":"2017 IEEE/CIC International Conference on Communications in China (ICCC)","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122364771","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, we investigate the joint network-coded modulation design of the two stages. A universal modulation framework is built, referred to as Analog Network-Coded Modulation Strategy, which is more general than the former modulation design mechanism. More explicitly, we propose a joint design criterion for the modulation and the network coding to guarantee the forwarding reliability at the relay node. That is, the neighboring superposed constellation points, among which the Euclidean distance (ED) is less than a given threshold, are constrained to be mapped to an identical constellation point for broadcasting. This yields a non-convex polynomial optimization problem, for which we propose a joint modulation design algorithm, termed as Enhanced Semidefinite Relaxation (Enhanced-SDR) Algorithm, based on the SDR technique. Simulation results will demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm by comparing symbol error rate (SER) performance with the exhaustive search and the existing modulation design methods.","PeriodicalId":418396,"journal":{"name":"2017 IEEE/CIC International Conference on Communications in China (ICCC)","volume":"84 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122518944","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One of the major challenges in self-backhauling ultra-dense networks (UDNs) is the optimization of user association and resource allocation between the radio access links and backhaul links, which is essential to improve the network performance. This paper proposes a coalition game based joint user association and bandwidth allocation algorithm for ultradense mmWave networks (UDMNs), in which users form a set of coalitions by playing coalition games to maximize network sum rate and make the downlink traffic of small cells in current cell association period be accommodated by their wireless backhaul. Simulation results show that, the proposed scheme improves the sum rate significantly compared to the traditional minimum-distance based user association scheme, and approximates the performance of immune optimization algorithm (IOA) in terms of sum rate and has much lower computational complexity.","PeriodicalId":418396,"journal":{"name":"2017 IEEE/CIC International Conference on Communications in China (ICCC)","volume":"70 3","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120847261","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In addition, energy harvesting (EH), which can significantly improve energy efficiency, has attracted lots of attention. In this paper, a downlink NOMA-based EH (NOMA-EH) multiple antenna decode-and-forward (DF) relaying network is investigated over Nakagami-m fading channels. Transmit antenna selection (TAS) and maximal-ratio combining (MRC) are adopted at the source and users, respectively. The exact closed-form expression in terms of outage probability is derived. As a comparison, we also obtain the exact outage expression of the OMA-based EH (OMA-EH) system. Furthermore, the system throughput of NOMA-EH is studied as well as that of OMA-EH. We study the multicarrier CR system with a primary user (PU) and multiple secondary users (SUs). By applying a cooperative spectrum leasing protocol, SUs can serve as amplify-and-forward (AF) relays to assist PU's transmission. Taking both the fairness and the throughput of SUs into account, we aim to maximize the total utility functions of SUs and formulate a joint optimization problem under constraints of the target rate of the primary system and the total power of the secondary system. The resource allocation involves rate arrangement, power control, subcarrier-relay selection, subcarrier allocation and subcarrier pairing. The proposed resource allocation policy is obtained by using the Lagrange dual approach. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed scheme can make balance between throughput and fairness among SUs.","PeriodicalId":418396,"journal":{"name":"2017 IEEE/CIC International Conference on Communications in China (ICCC)","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114740827","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

An approximate closed-form expression for the secrecy rate is derived firstly. Then we consider the practical scenario where Alice aims to allocate considerable power to the AN under the target Quality of Service (QoS) of the legitimate link. While Eve tries to compel Alice to reduce the AN by selecting an optimal helper to transmit jamming signals to Bob. To solve the conflict, we formulate a game-theoretic model between Alice and Eve. Nash equilibriums, including the minimum power allocation factor, the jammer's optimal position and jamming power are proved to exist and then analytically derived. An iterative algorithm is also proposed to obtain the optimal solution. Finally, simulation results are provided to verify our analytical results.","PeriodicalId":418396,"journal":{"name":"2017 IEEE/CIC International Conference on Communications in China (ICCC)","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126349717","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Recent investigations show that, appropriate resource allocation among the network nodes is of great importance in wireless localization. In this paper, we focus on the joint power and spectrum allocation (JPSA) problem in wireless localization networks. Since the original problem is essentially non-convex, JPSA can thus be reformulated as a mixed integer linear programming (MILP) problem by appropriate relaxations. Two high accuracy approximation algorithms are presented to solve the JPSA problems, in both non-cooperative and cooperative localization networks. Numeric results show that, the MILP based algorithms can solve the carrier optimization problem with high accuracy and efficiency, compared to the traditional full enumeration method. Furthermore, based on the presented optimal JPSA frameworks, appropriate cooperations among agents can obviously improve the performance of wireless positioning.","PeriodicalId":418396,"journal":{"name":"2017 IEEE/CIC International Conference on Communications in China (ICCC)","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128094238","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
