DSSCs are based on a semiconductor (i.e., TiO2), formed between a photo-sensitized anode and an electrolyte. In order to reach high conversion efficiency, it is important to increase the electron injection and optical absorption. One promising solution to increase the DSSCs efficiency is to decrease the wide band gap of TiO2 by doping a foreign ion into TiO2 structure. In the present work, Cu-doped TiO2 nanoparticles and thin films with different Cu:Ti rations are reported. The effect of dopant on photovoltaic performance of dye-sensitized solar cells were analyzed. The nanoparticles were synthesized via low temperature hydrolysis method, followed by thermal treatment at 773 K for 1 hr. X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) analyses revealed that the synthesized samples had uniform grains in nanometer scale. It was found that, 1.0wt.% Cu-doped TiO2 DSSC (C2) had the highest power conversion efficiency of 2.87%. This can be related to achievement of an optimum condition balance among the electron injection, dye-absorption and light scattering effect. The applied method exhibited superior potential for synthesis of Cu-doped TiO2 nanoparticles and films utilized as DSSCs.","PeriodicalId":416459,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 3rd International Conference on Smart City Applications","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126123894","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In addition to their traditional role as creator and disseminator of knowledge, or incubator of innovations, they serve as models for exploring the use of information technologies in research and training whose information systems are part of it. Information systems (IS) have occupied a prominent place in all the universities in recent years and have become a lever for development and competitiveness. Universities currently have several information systems in their structures to evaluate and guide all missions in all its sectors of activity. These IS enable them to execute their management actions, write activity, forecast and share information among all their stakeholders. However, supporting users once a new information system is deployed is a very important part of the deployment process of this new tool. The purpose of this article is to demonstrate the usefulness of an intelligent tutoring system around university governance information systems, addressing an example of an intelligent tutoring system, designed for the effective use of two new government information systems of scientific research and academic cooperation of our university.","PeriodicalId":416459,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 3rd International Conference on Smart City Applications","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129504250","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It aims at providing architectures to these kind of networks that may provide routing reliability by means of special nodes that are able to store high amount of data. One important architecture developed in the literature is Message Ferrying based architecture. The idea behind this mechanism is to use special nodes as ferries to deliver messages through the partitions of a DTN. Yet, movement of ferries in the network consumes a certain amount of energy, which leads to network performance degradation. Thus, finding an efficient number of massage ferries involved in the network is of interest.","PeriodicalId":416459,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 3rd International Conference on Smart City Applications","volume":"59 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129864975","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To respond to these problems, researchers have proposed adaptive information systems, which allow providing relevant results to the specific need of the user. Generally the selection of interesting documents to a user is done on the basis of his area of interest, inferred from the information about the user or his user profile. Thus the calculation of the interest center is one of the essential elements for a relevant research. In this paper we use a graphical representation of the user profile based on the structure of an ontology. Thus we were be able to use the power of mathematical calculations of graphs to deduce the user's interests center taking into account the semantic links between the graph's concepts.","PeriodicalId":416459,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 3rd International Conference on Smart City Applications","volume":"157 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129192151","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

They allowed to perform deep analysis on cell structure and it's sub-system. Moreover, They enabled construction of complex networks that represent the extracted data and the mutual interactions between biological entities of diverse types. However, most of users, especially researchers and biologists, find it difficult to do their experiments on a set of data of various types stored in multiple databases. In this paper, we present the state of the art for data integration based on collective mining, using various types of networked biological data. Moreover, we propose a new approach to make it possible to integrate heterogeneous data in the MicroCancer platform, recently developed by our laboratory, to deal with micro-array data.","PeriodicalId":416459,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 3rd International Conference on Smart City Applications","volume":"39 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121703468","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Intrusions, attacks or anomalies in network infrastructures lead mostly in great financial losses, massive sensitive data leaks, thereby decreasing efficiency and the quality of productivity of an organization. Network Intrusion Detection System (NIDS) is an effective countermeasure and high-profile method to detect the unauthorized use of computer network and to provide the security for information. Thus, the presence of NIDS in an organization plays a vital part in attack mitigation, and it has become an integral part of a secure organization. In this paper, we propose to optimize a very popular soft computing tool widely used for intrusion detection namely Back Propagation Neural Network (BPNN) using a novel hybrid Framework (GASAA) based on Genetic Algorithm (GA) and Simulated Annealing Algorithm (SAA). Experimental results on KDD CUP' 99 dataset show that our optimized ANIDS (Anomaly NIDS) based BPNN, called \"ANIDS BPNN-GASAA\" outperforms the original ANIDS BPNN, ANIDS BPNN optimized by using only GA and several traditional and new techniques in terms of detection rate and false positive rate, and it is very much suitable for network anomaly detection.","PeriodicalId":416459,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 3rd International Conference on Smart City Applications","volume":"119 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122478910","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Our work is specifically in the field or seeking to promote, by means of information technology from a distance. Our approach is to first think about the conditions for creating a real disciplinary information space for LMS between learners, and designing the IT environment that supports this space. In this paper, we try to adapt the IMS-LD model with a disciplinary information model for LMS based on the traditional pedagogy and the social constructivism. This adaptation will go through three stages. Firstly, the development of an LMS model. Secondly, the study of correspondence between the developed model and IMS-LD model and their transformation to IMS-LD model.","PeriodicalId":416459,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 3rd International Conference on Smart City Applications","volume":"38 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133352191","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The objective of this study is to promote the use of health mapping by focusing on the added value of this tool in the study of the spatial and temporal distribution of the incidence of parasitic disease including leishmaniasis, and to determine the relationship between this epidemic and altitude and draw up a health risk map for this plague in the prefecture of Meknes in central Morocco. To do this we have created a database containing the geographical parameters (the communes of the city), environmental (altitude), and sanitary (level of risk of leishmaniasis) through a field study on the cases of leishmaniasis declared at the level of the municipalities of the city of Meknes and using Qgis 2.18 software which is an open source software. We subsequently exploited the database created for thematic analyzes and the creation of thematic maps with a focus on causal links connecting the geographical and environmental factors, This study shows that spatial representation and spatial analysis of impacts is an important tool in identifying risk locations. This spatial representation known as the risk map is essential in the careful identification of high-risk municipalities. Indeed, a risk map is a geographical profile of the incidence that indicates the areas where it is concentrated.","PeriodicalId":416459,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 3rd International Conference on Smart City Applications","volume":"126 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133440731","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
