Sexual harassment was behavior that approaches related to unwanted sex, including the demand for sex, and other behaviors being verbally or physically refer to sex more. This study aimed to find out the cause and effect of the sexual harassment experienced by the women in the Molotschna colony as seen in women talking novel. This study used descriptive qualitative to analyze the social problems that found in the novel. The result of the study,there were two causes and effects of the sexual harassment in the novel of women talking. The first cause of the sexual harassment in the novel of women talking was the gender gap. Gender gap made people considered that the position of women and men was very different. Men were superior and strong while women were the opposite.The second cause was the male domination. In this study the subject is the eighth grade students of Junior High School Swasta Cendramata. The main objective in this research identified and reading issue that students faced. On describing this culture-based reading learning material to be developed so that students can have an attraction in reading with culture-based reading materials. In this study, using the development of culture-based reading materials adapted from the character Sugiono (2011) and based on good and correct reading criteria. The description of culture-based reading learning materials for 8 th grade Junior High School Swasta Cendramata is described in 4 aspects, namely testing, content, language use and reading activities. This study uses a validity test which shows that the prototype is evaluated with good quality. The conceptual work of literature review is applied as the research method. This means previous works were analysed to investigate teachers’ perceptions toward the L1 use in teaching English. The result shows that the L1 can be used in teaching grammar, vocabulary, and giving instructions. Teachers are also divided into three positions in perceiving the use of L1 in teaching English, which are the virtual, maximal, and optimal position. Therefore, teachers might use this study’s results as the information to use the L1 in classrooms. This qualitative study has been conducted in a TEYL class in one English Department in West Java. The sample of the study consisted of thirty students. Questionnaires and interviews were used as data collection techniques in this study. The questionnaires were used to collect evidence from students about their experience and perception towards the use of CSM and Comic Life in creating short story for young learners. The questionnaires used in this study focus on exploring students’ experience and perception toward the use CSM and Comic Life in creating short story for young learners, whereas  interview was used to explored more the data about obstacles faced by the students in using CSM and Comic Life. The data collected from the respondents were gathered together to be analyzed using qualitative analysis of interactive models. The low ability to speak with the results of interviews with people around it’s caused by internal factors and external factors that come from their techniques in obtaining and applying theories regarding speaking skills. Interview techniques with certain topics are an attempt to improve speaking skills to describe something, give opinions and tell stories is the way to approach the object.  The benefits of this research include theoretical and practical benefits, theoretically, the results of this study are expected to contribute knowledge related to the use of appropriate techniques in learning to speak, practically the results of this study are expected to be useful for the author as the development of knowledge in the field of speaking skills. This study used a random design with people around, data collection was done by interviewing the non-test data collection tools used were interviews and observation.  The data analysis was done qualitatively. It affects all aspects of humans’ life, including their education. Teaching and learning processes during the pandemic of Covid-19 are done online or by implementing e-learning. This is to avoid the contact among people. This study aims to find out the media used to do e-learning, the consideration in picking the media, as well as the advantages and disadvantages found during the implementation of e-learning. This research involved 6 English lecturers teaching in some tourism vocational universities in Bali. Data of the research were gained through online questionnaires. Then the data were analysed by finding the percentages as well as describing them. This study used mix method adopted content analysis. There are two instruments to analyze the data, researchers themselves and rubric assessment from BNSP or The Board of National Education Standard (BNES) since it used as a standardization of the textbook evaluation in 2013 curriculum. The data collected for the study were gathered from the “Bahasa Inggris” textbook used in the 10 th grade of senior high school which published by Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan in 2017 which contains 15 chapters. The finding shows that the contents of the textbook suitable with core competency and basic competency in 2013 curriculum. All chapters from the textbook meet the 2013 curriculum competency. For the feasibility of content, some materials in the textbook are not fully suitable with the requirements. In the depth and element and structure of meaning criteria, there are 2 chapters which is not fully suits the criteria required. This study found that the development of the sub-component of diversity insight does not fulfill the criteria since only two chapters have been successfully implemented. The main question of this research: Is the use of the passive voice cards effective in teaching passive voice to Indonesian EFL students?.  The research can be an addition to the persisting teaching grammar of English particularly the passive voice through the use of the passive voice cards.  This research was conducted at the the student at Politeknik Negeri Ujung Pandang, an Indonesian Vocational Higher Education. The total number of samples was 25 students. The research used a pre-experimental method with a pre-test and post-test design. The pre-test was given to find out the basic ability of the students in mastering conditional sentences and the post-test given to find out the students’ improvement in mastering passive voice after giving the treatment by using of passive voice cards.  The findings show that using the passive voice cards is effective in teaching conditional sentences to Indonesian EFL students. To solve the mentioned problems, some researchers suggest the application of inventive technology-enhanced instructions in teaching the writing skill. In this regard, WebQuest as a computer-based instructional model providing the already-selected website links can be proposed as an appropriate candidate. Hence, the very aim of the present experimental pre-test/post-test study was to address the effect of WebQuest-based instruction on Iranian undergraduate EFL learners’ achievements in their overall essay writing ability as well as their writing ability concerning the elaboration, focus, conventions, vocabulary, and organization sub-skills. To do so, 50 participants in the experimental group and 49 participants in the control group performed the WebQuest-based and the alternative tasks without access to the web links, respectively. To analyze the obtained data, six ANCOVAs were run. The results revealed a significant improvement in EFL learners’ overall writing performance as well as their outperformance in the organization, focus, elaboration, and vocabulary subskills, but not the conventions sub-skill. The findings of this study indicated optimistic implications about the potential applicability of novel educational technologies in Iranian higher education context. It also investigated how working memory was related to task performance and mediated the influence of complexity conditions on language performance. Task complexity was operationalized by designing differing tasks along the +/- reasoning and the +/- few elements dimensions. Eighty Iranian EFL learners (40 lower-intermediate and 40 advanced) carried out argumentative tasks which differed in complexity level. Working memory capacity was measured by applying the Persian translation of Wechsler's (1987) working memory test, and task performance was measured in terms of accuracy and fluency. The results revealed that for lower-intermediate learners, task complexity led to decrease in accuracy in the complex tasks, while fluency was boosted in simple task condition. For advanced learners, task complexity resulted in improved accuracy, while fluency decreased in complex condition. The results of multivariate analyses revealed that learners' language performance in the complex group significantly differed from that of the simple group on the combined dependent variables for both lower-intermediate and advanced learners.
