Some lexical-semantic peculiarities of translation of terminological nominations of Yves Rocher cosmetic products for face care were the focus of this research. During the analysis of terminological nominations of cosmetic products, the problem of partial correlation of such nominations in French and Russian has been revealed. The paper describes the existing scientific approaches to the category of comparison, characterizes the structural, semantic and stylistic features of stable comparisons in the Russian, English and Lezghi languages. It is established that stable comparisons in the studied languages, as a special category of phraseological constructions, are thematically diverse and are used to characterize the actions of a human, objects, situations, phenomena of the reality. It was found that stable comparative expressions in the studied languages are built according to similar models and have a two-component structure. Perceptual experiment was used to determine the degree of their emotional load. The material for the study was A. A. Block’s poem read by professional performers. The paper discusses a set of reasons that cause different emotional interpretation of the same poetic work and varying intonation patterns employed by the readers. It is argued that the multidimensional and mobile semiosis of poetic discourse, the mismatch of presuppositions and the lack of a common communicative base between the author and the reader account for differences in the actualization of the non-letter symbol additional function in writing. The results of the experiment show high degree of intonation shades variability whose graphic referent is the exclamation mark. We emphasize active character of forming somatic phraseological units characterized by the two-dimensional semantic structure. To compare the semantics of variable word combinations and the corresponding phraseological units the analysis of primary transposition results was used to map the semantics of variable word combinations and phraseological units - a method typically applied for such a purpose; another method used was the application of an idiom onto the corresponding variable word combination to determine the degree of the components semantic merging to create coherent meaning of the studied idioms. The actuality of the problem is that the comparative analysis of the somatic phraseology of the Dargin and Arabic languages with the component “ear“ in the system of anthropological linguistics has not been the focus of researchers’ attention. The materials for the study were taken from (i) the websites of a national Kazakh newspaper, (ii) an official site of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan and its instagram, (iii) English-language newspapers, (iv) materials from online Merriam-Webster Dictionary. Continuous sampling was used to select the tokens for the study.
