Results show that the project completion rate has increased, and student dropout rate decreased. Creation of Wikis was an important product for active learning. This software tool is open-source and it was programmed using Python3 language. It was created with the purpose of offering students an alternative software tool with a low computational cost. It was made thinking in providing a great user experience to the students when they are learning about process dynamics and closed-loop system behavior based on proportional-integral and derivative controllers. However, recent technical advancements, applications, and tools reflect the deficits of society regarding diversity, equality, and inclusion across disciplines and organizations. Fortunately, these three elements may become part of accreditation criteria and processes for engineering, computing, and other programs. Moreover, accreditation bodies, higher education institutions, and educators need to become ready to implement these new criteria. This work addresses the meaning of the three concepts in the context of accreditation. It also emphasizes the potential benefits for technical professions, future engineers, and ICACIT. Promoting this competence in teachers to be able to work with the undergraduate students the solution of complex engineering problems. This allows us to respond to ABET criterion 3 which corresponds to outcome 1: an ability to identify, formulate, and solve complex engineering problems by applying principles of engineering, science, and mathematics. To do this, first, the alternative conceptions engineering teachers have about this topic are explored and then a proposal of intervention capable of validation is developed. However, there is little evidence about the development of growth mindset in engineering students. This study focuses on measuring the levels of growth mindset in first-year engineering students in a Peruvian university. The study is based on a questionnaire applied to 211 engineering students. The results show that: (a) most of the participants of the study have the growth mindset skill (b) there are no gender differences regarding growth mindset (c) resilience is the most important dimension in growth mindset, and (d) self-esteem and tenacity are two attributes with lower scores. A questionnaire was applied to 42 professors involved in the accreditation process, under the quantitative approach and the descriptive scope.
